Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signaled a greater willingness for potential peace talks to end the war, marking a significant shift in his rhetoric, The Washington Post reported on Dec. 23.
The newspaper points out that the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States and the realities on the frontline seem to be pushing Zelenskyy to the negotiating table.
The question is did the current administration wanted the war to continue? Sending Cluster bombs which many countries, allies, and Human Rights organization opposed to it due to its long-term killing of innocent people and children way after the war ends, was that a signal?
