Image result for syria

Syrian government troops have pressed into rebel-held areas of the besieged city of Aleppo, as a two week-long offensive there grinds forward, appearing to push rebel defenders closer to defeat.
The government gains bring the Assad regime another step closer to re-taking Aleppo, Syria’s second largest city, held by rebels since 2012.

The fall of Aleppo would be a major victory for Assad and his ally Russia, whose intervention in September last year has pulled the Syrian president's regime back from the brink of collapse. Since November, Russia has intensified its bombing campaign across Syria, as the government has appeared increasingly emboldened.

1- Efforts by the U.S. to broker ceasefires for Aleppo fell apart ..............
2- The Assad regime appear determined to retake the city, despite protests from Western countries that they are committing war crimes by indiscriminately bombing civilians and targeting hospitals.
3- The Obama administration has warned Russia no military victory is possible in Syria, but Assad has repeatedly said he will take back all areas of the country.

Let us keep the Country as one piece. Let us not support any opposition. We have done that for sometime and the outcome is full destruction of a country, 11 million people are refugees, and thousands killed.
For God 's sake, let us help end the fighting even if Russia won in our eyes. let us pick a different fight where countries are not destroyed.

The conflict may be ending soon but the suffering is not... It is a defeat of  our  Humanity?

Just say a prayer.

A former deputy mayor in the eastern city of Wenzhou, Yang, 70, is wanted in China for allegedly embezzling more than $40 million. She had sat atop the list of China's 100 most-wanted graft suspects who Beijing has asked Interpol to help apprehend.

With Chinese investigators closing in, Yang Xiuzhu fled first to Hong Kong in 2003, then Singapore, France, the Netherlands and Italy, said the party watchdog, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

The Communist Party's anti-corruption watchdog says it has taken custody of 37 of the 100 most-wanted graft suspects since launching its "Sky Net" campaign to apprehend them in April 2015. They include both Yang and her brother who is suspected of graft and bribery and returned to China late last year.

A Chinese police official was elected president of Interpol last week, setting off alarm bells among rights advocates who worry about abuses and a lack of transparency within China's legal system.

U.S. and Chinese diplomats and law enforcement representatives plan to meet in Beijing next week to discuss fighting transnational crime through the China-U.S. Joint Liaison Group on Law Enforcement Cooperation. You can run but not hide, not any more.

The End..

 apocalypse

There is a one in 500 chance there is a global catastrophe on the horizon which will spell the end of humanity, according to a leading statistician.

University of Barcelona mathematician Fergus Simpson says that as the population continues to increase, the chance of humanity being wiped out increases. The theory of the Doomsday Argument states that as humans are born in the random order, one person is born roughly in the middle.

We pay attention to bad news, because on the whole, we think the world is rosier than it actually is. When it comes to our own lives, most of us believe we're better than average, and that, like the clichés, we expect things to be all right in the end. This pleasant view of the world makes bad news all the more surprising and salient. It is only against a light background that the dark spots are highlighted.

The News Media all focused on the transition team for Trump. I'm not delighted with it and I don't believe it. Accordingly, the end of the world will be January 20th.

Rights groups and U.N. officials say the U.S.-backed coalition has often either deliberately or recklessly depended on faulty intelligence, failed to distinguish between civilian and military targets and disregarded the likelihood of civilian casualties.

Nearly 4,000 civilians have been killed in the war, and an estimated 60 percent of them died in airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition, the U.N. says.

The war has devastated the country of 26 million, causing widespread hunger and driving 3 million from their homes.  Warplanes have hit medical centers, schools, factories, infrastructure and roads, markets, weddings and residential compounds.

The coalition says it does its utmost to avoid civilian casualties and notes rebels often operate among civilians. Rights groups and U.N. officials have reported probable war crimes by the Houthis, including shelling civilian areas and basing their fighters in schools and other civilian locations.

The coalition has made nine investigations public. In two it acknowledged mistakes and said it would pay compensation to victims. In most of the other cases, it said the strikes were against a justified military target.

Iran's two top leaders, president and supreme leader, sought to calm concerns over the future of Tehran's nuclear deal in the wake of Donald Trump's election. President said the country will remain committed and loyal to the deal, regardless of the outcome of the U.S. election.

Supreme Leader said Iran was indifferent to the result of the U.S. vote, insisting the Iranian nation was "not worried" about the future and was ready for any fallout from the U.S. election.

Trump's much publicized criticism of the nuclear deal and his campaign vows to renegotiate the terms and increase enforcement of the deal that put off the threat of Tehran developing atomic weapons has sent jitters across Iran.

"We neither mourn nor cheer because it makes no difference to us. We do not have any judgment on the election," Khamenei said. "We are also not worried."
"The Unites States is the same country and over the past 37 years any of the U.S. major parties that came to power brought us no good, while their evil was always directed toward the Iranian nation," Khamenei added.        It's all good.  Just a thought.

“A very small percentage of the people in this world will actually experience and live today. So many will be stuck on another day, another time that traumatized them and caused them to spiritually stutter so they miss out on this day.”

“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, and you are not your struggles.    You are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”

“People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one.

Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action.”       [Steve Maraboli.......]

Image result for protest trump election

Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning over 16 hopefuls. The Republican Party set a party record with over 28 million votes to date.  This can be attributed to Donald Trump.

Trump is the first candidate to have funded his campaign by himself.  His results are  impressive, and he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders.

Hillary Clinton pulled out the win over Sanders, with more delegates, a quarter came from ‘super delegates’. Her road to the Democratic nomination was far less impressive.

One might think Donald Trump's sexist statements would sway female voters away from the candidate. But roughly 53% of white women, 4% of black women and 26% of Latina women voted for Trump, CNN's exit polls revealed. So who is ....?

Image result for hillary's failure

Hillary Clinton told her top donors in a call that she is "heartbroken" by the election outcome and she pointed to FBI Director James Comey's letter to Congress about a review of newly-found emails as a turning point in the contest between her and Republican Donald Trump.

A top donor told ABC News that the Comey letter was "a perfect setup for failure."

Comment:
*The Media was playing the drums for Hillary. Their polls, explanation, ....  etc showed this would be the outcome and some of her supporters rested on that.

*The people wanted change, but Hillary insisted on a third term of Obama. Easy way to avoid explaining anything.

*She assumed a character other than herself... Illustrated by SNL and others.
*Her strongest suit was foreign policy, but the issues in Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Iraq is lingering on. The outcome of Migrants and terrorist activities in Europe and USA is alarming.

*Her Emails is an issue, particularly that her assistants also mishandled the Emails, it is a culture.

*Angrily, she said Russia wants a puppet in the White House... that tells me she is ready to start fights with other countries ASAP, a way of diversion from domestic problems.

*In respond to Trump's Wall on the border, she wants to build bridges between people....  Didn't recognize the issue nor participated with a solution... Status quo.

*Obama, Michelle, Bill, Biden, Biance, JZ, .... and others are involved heavily in her election which makes one think twice about it. This is an overkill.

*Scandals of Donna Brazile, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz efforts of unfairness and leaking information that was revealed by WikiLeaks.

*Again, what is her plan to help African American young, Hispanic, Senior Citizens, Healthcare, involvement in the Middle east, relationship with other countries?

So it is not the FBI alone... Just a thought.

A Muslim woman in Louisiana who told police she was attacked with a metal object and robbed of her headscarf and wallet by two men wearing Donald Trump clothing just hours after Trump was elected president admitted to police she made it up, Lafayette police told ABC News.
Police said they weren’t able to identify any suspects and that she declined medical treatment.

The report of the attack garnered national attention and elicited outrage from the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana, which issued a firm rebuke of the attack, tying it to the anti-Muslim rhetoric of Trump’s campaign.

The student will be charged with a misdemeanor for filing a false police report, but will likely not face any jail time.

The Lafayette Police Department said that during the course of their investigation into the woman’s complaint, she “admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males.

She really helped no one.  Just a thought.
