Federal investigators have obtained a warrant to begin searching a large cache of emails belonging to a top aide to Hillary Clinton, as prosecutors and F.B.I. agents scrambled under intense public pressure to assess their significance before Election Day.

That prompted a renewed interest among agents who had investigated Mrs. Clinton for her use of a private email server as secretary of state. That investigation centered on whether Mrs. Clinton or her aides had mishandled classified information.

FBI agents recently confronted Huma with an e-mail she received in 2010 warning her that her Yahoo e-mail account where she’d “routinely” stored State Department messages, including ones containing classified information may have been compromised.

Mr. Comey has faced widespread criticism since his announcement.  Hillary attacking the FBI knowing that the results will come after the election takes place.

However the outcome this time is going to be different.  Hillary 's gross negligence plus Uma's negligence beyond may drag both down.   Just a thought.

Abedin was born on July 28, 1976,[7] in Kalamazoo, Michigan. At the age of two, she moved with her family to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she was raised and lived until returning to the United State for college.

In 2009, Abedin was appointed deputy chief of staff to Clinton in the State Department,[16] under a "special government employee" arrangement created by the department which allowed her to work for private clients as a consultant while also serving as an adviser to the Secretary of State.[17] Under this arrangement.

The rangement also allowed her to work from her home in New York City, rather than at the State Department’s headquarters in Washington.

In a letter dated June 13, 2012, to the State Department Inspector General, five Republican members of Congress claimed that Abedin "has three family members – her late father, her mother and her brother connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.

Some officials within the intelligence community have stated that potentially-classified information was contained in e-mails from Abedin relating to the 2012 Benghazi attack and its aftermath which had been sent through Clinton's private, non-government server.[39][42][43] So far, 1818 emails contain classified information on the private server, with 22 being classified as Top Secret.

Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin has told people she doesn’t know how her emails ended up on her estranged husband’s computer, according to The Washington Post.
Abedin says she did not regularly use the computer, the newspaper reported, citing a person familiar with the investigation.

Her lawyers did not search the computer that belongs to former congressman Anthony Weiner when Abedin agreed to hand over emails to the State Department because she did not believe any of her emails would be on it, the person said.

Federal investigators are working to review more than 1,000 emails on a laptop shared by a top aide to Hillary and the aide’s disgraced husband that caused FBI Director James Comey to reopen the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, a person familiar with the matter told CBS News.

Clinton has called for the FBI to release all the new information it has on the investigation and soon they well. At this point, it will be a combo of the old and the New.

If something shows up, I am not shocked. They have done less safe communication by using a private server.   Just a thought.

A 49-year-old registered nurse has been charged with eight counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of elderly nursing home residents in the Woodstock and London — over a seven-year period.  All of the victims were residents  in the Woodstock and London.
Police said Elizabeth Tracey Mae Wettlaufer allegedly used drugs to end the lives of the eight residents. Police would not say if nursing home records showed that drugs had gone missing.
The victims were administered a drug. We are not in a position to comment on the specifics it forms part of the evidence that is now before the courts," Ontario Provincial Police detective Dave Truax said.
Truax would only say that a number of drugs were stored and accessible in the nursing homes where the suspect worked.
Ontario Health Minister Eric Hoskins called the charges "horrific allegations" and said the safety and security of those in long-term care homes are his top priority.  "No resident of long-term housing needs to be concerned about their safety as a result of this investigation," Hoskins said.

The U.S. stated that the intent was to remove "a regime that developed and used weapons of mass destruction, that harbored and supported terrorists, committed outrageous human rights abuses, and defied the just demands of the United Nations and the world."

In the lead-up to the invasion, the U.S. and UK emphasized the argument that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction and that he thus presented a threat to his neighbors and to the world community.  .

The resolution strengthened the mandate of the UN (UNMOVIC) and (IAEA), giving them authority to go anywhere, at any time and talk to anyone in order to verify Iraq's disarmament."

Throughout late 2001, 2002, and early 2003, the Bush Administration worked to build a case for invading Iraq, culminating in then Secretary of State Colin Powell's February 2003 address to the Security Council.  Evidence linking Hussein and Al-Qaeda was discredited by multiple U.S. intelligence agencies.

Obama- Hillary tried regime change in Syria, and Libya, and the outcome of death continue.

Katie McLaughlin divorced Fogle after he pleaded guilty to federal charges of child pornography and having sex with minors.

She alleges in the suit that she and her children suffered emotional distress because Fogle's behavior did not become publicly known before she married him in 2010.

"A responsible corporation would take immediate action when hearing of this behavior, even if it was only allegations," she charges in the suit. "Subway failed every test of corporate responsibility in its response to each of these complaints."

The suit contends that Subway believed that sustaining and expanding its market share, profitability and growth depended on Jared's reputation. "Subway's ambition for sales and growth came at the expense of Katie [and her children]," it says.

McLaughlin said it was "beyond comprehension" to find out that her husband was a child predator, and to also learn that executives had been told of his behavior and did not act. With her voice breaking, she apologized to Fogle's victims and said she was filing the suit to get answers about what Subway knew and when its executives knew it. Will see?

Swiss Frank/Euro
Swiss National Bank stunned the markets by scrapping its three-year old cap of 1.20 Swiss francs per euro. The central bank said the franc was now out of the period of “exceptional overvaluation” during which the minimum exchange rate had been introduced.

The SNB’s latest move unleashed new volatility among bonds and currencies around the world. SNB’s abandoning of the cap prompted a collapse of as much as 30% in the euro versus the franc – the biggest single-day move in a developed market that traders could recall. One Franc Equals Euro in less than a week.

Dollar/Yen
With the prime minister's program, dubbed Abenomics.
A large part of the problem can be seen in the sharply lower value of the yen. Even though the currency's fall should eventually help boost exports as Japanese goods become more competitive overseas, it also immediately raises the price of imports.

Dollar/Canadian Dollar
The number of Canadians crossing the border at B.C. points of entry dropped sharply in the past year as the value of the Canadian dollar fell relative to the U.S. greenback.
In December 2013, when the loonie was trading at 94 cents US, 293,950 Canadians crossed the Douglas (Peace Arch) border crossing on their way back from the U.S.
The current value is 1.2 Canadian dollar to the US dollar.

Dollar/ Euro
The Euro sank to a more than 11-year low against the dollar and a three-month low against the yen after the European Central Bank launched a landmark bond-buying program that will pump hundreds of billions into a sagging euro zone economy.

"The ECB has obviously taken decisive action,'' said Dean Popplewell, chief currency strategist at OANDA in Toronto. "What we are seeing is some individuals actually adding to their short positions at these levels.''   [2014]

More than 2,400 U.S. doctors have been sanctioned for sexually abusing their patients, according to a new report that surveyed records from all 50 states.

In New York City the former head of clinical research at the Mount Sinai hospital emergency room, Dr. David Newman, is facing charges that he abused four of his female patients, including one he allegedly drugged while she was in the ER.

Newman has pleaded not guilty to charges, and the hospital said he no longer works there.

Michael Hestrin, the district attorney in Riverside County, California is prosecuting a doctor accused of 26 felony counts of sexual assault. Dr. John McGuire has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is being held in jail on a $3 million bond. His license has been suspended by the state medical board.

According to a civil complaint, McGuire sexually assaulted a patient recovering in a private room from the effects of anesthesia. He allegedly lifted the “plaintiff’s gown and placed his ungloved hands on her bare breasts and felt all around looking for ‘swelling.’”

In another alleged incident, the lawsuit claims McGuire “rubbed plaintiff’s vagina with an ungloved hand and fingers,” supposedly to check on a rash.

Dr. David Mata, once praised on the floor of Congress as a “great humanitarian” and named doctor of the year in Oregon, was accused of 140 counts of sexual abuse of patients.
He pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual acts with patients but was not sentenced to prison and served his probation at home. The California medical board revoked his license. [ABC News]

The warring parties in Yemen have agreed to a 72-hour cease-fire that will take effect shortly.

The war in Yemen began in 2014 when Shiite rebels known as Houthis based in the north seized the capital, Sanaa. In March 2015, Saudi Arabia and its Gulf allies launched a campaign of airstrikes against the rebels. The Saudi-led coalition and the United States are backing the internationally recognized government of Yemen's president, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

More than 4,000 civilians have been killed and 3 million of the country's 26 million people have been driven from their homes by the fighting. Hunger has become widespread in the Arab world's poorest country.

About 9 p.m. Thursday, the two 14-year-olds came to the police department "in hysterics." Officers were able to calm them, and the girls said they were walking in the 18000 block of Minnesota Street when a car stopped and two people dressed as clowns jumped out and started chasing them.

The “Crusaders” knew they wanted to kill and with luck, use the “bloodbath” to ignite a religious war but for months they couldn’t settle on a plan.

The easiest way would be to grab guns, go to the predominantly Somali apartment complex they’d been surveilling and start kicking in doors, court documents said. They would spare no one.

In the end, they decided to set off bombs similar to the one Timothy McVeigh used in 1995 to kill 168 people in Oklahoma City. They planned to strike after the Nov. 8 election, investigators said.

The three men face federal charges of conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction to blow up an apartment complex, and a mosque.

It was ultimately undone by an FBI confidential informant and one of the conspirator’s girlfriend, who showed authorities the supply room after he allegedly hit her during a fight.

Earlier this year, investigators were tipped off by the informant, who had attended meetings of a group calling itself the Crusaders.   The Crusaders referred to the Somali as cockroaches.

Sinead O'Connor recorded a song this song.  It made it to #1 on the charts in sixteen countries. Considered one of the best breakup songs.

It is a sad tale of depression that can follow after a tough split from the person you loved.

Every line of the song packs an emotional wallop. From the opening: "It's been seven hours and fifteen days, since you took your love away …"   It continues with a series of moods, from anguish, regret. through spitting anger, and finally to something close to resignation and acceptance. It is a lifetime's emotion magically condensed into four minutes. When Sinead cried in the video it was a real tear.

What launched the song was the video. Most of it shows O'Connor's almost shaven head –  her eyes registering every line of the lyric. When she sings "all flowers in the backyard that you planted, mama, all died when you went away"  two tears run down her cheeks. Later it was said that this was because she was reminded of her mother.

Here is the song from the nineties.

Juanita Broaddrick has long accused Bill Clinton of raping her in 1978, and repeated those allegations in a tweet.  Aides to Hillary quickly moved to gather information to undermine her account. Hacked internal campaign emails were released by the group WikiLeaks.

Yemen's Saba news agency, which is controlled by the Houthis, quoted a military official denying that the rebels targeted a U.S. ship.  Spokesman for the Yemeni army, called the incident an “American farce to find a reason to interfere in Yemen directly after failure of the Saudis," the AP reported.
The U.S. has been providing logistical support and refueling to the Saudi-led coalition against the Houthis.
The launches of missiles at U.S. ships followed the bombing of a funeral hall in the Yemeni capital Sanaa apparently by forces from the Saudi-led coalition killed at least 140 people. Sanaa is controlled by the Houthis.

Dan Richman missed the "do not disturb" sign. The 54-year-old hiker interrupted a pair of bears that were trying to mate.
He was going along a trail when he saw a bear on its hind legs 50 to 100 feet away. It was his first time seeing a bear in person. "I was pretty freaked out," he tells KTLA.
Richman turned around to leave and saw a second bear much closer. His attempt to scare it off by yelling failed, and it attacked when he tried to run by it. Richman played dead, as he was close to.
He ran off, not realizing how injured he was until he reached safety. He had a head injury and multiple cuts to his head, legs, feet, and torso.

A Syrian man wanted for allegedly preparing a bombing attack was apprehended by three of his countrymen. This ended a nationwide search for the 22-year-old that German authorities launched after finding several pounds of explosives hidden inside an apartment in the eastern city of Chemnitz.

The terrorist arrived in Germany amid a flood of 890,000 asylum seekers last year.

A security official said there was no indication yet that Albakr was being directed by the Islamic State group.    A 33-year-old Syrian arrested and is considered a co-conspirator in the alleged bomb plot, prosecutors said.

The incident comes amid ongoing concerns about the flood of asylum seekers that entered Germany and increasing support for populist parties with anti-migrant rhetoric.
The country also has been on edge since two attacks in July carried out by asylum seekers and claimed by the Islamic State group.

Millions of Syrians fled the war to the neighboring countries in the worst humanitarian disaster in recent history. Many want to stay home, providing that we help stabilize the country.     It is very hard for the migrant and their families to adjust in the western world.  The vast differences in social, economics, religions, and personal standards make it very difficult to adjust.

The U.S. health system is the most expensive in the world, but comparative analyses consistently show the United States underperforms relative to other countries on most dimensions of performance.

Among the seven nations studied Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States the U.S. ranks last overall, as it did in the 2007, 2006, and 2004 editions of Mirror, Mirror

But even when access and equity measures are not considered, the U.S. ranks behind most of the other countries on most measures. With the inclusion of primary care physician survey data in the analysis, it is apparent that the U.S. is lagging in adoption of national policies that promote primary care, quality improvement, and information technology.

The other six countries spend considerably less on health care per person and as a percent of gross domestic product than does the United States. These findings indicate that, from the perspectives of both physicians and patients, the U.S. health care system could do much better in achieving value for the nation's substantial investment in health.

Quality,  Access,  Efficiency,  Equity, Long, healthy, and productive lives: The U.S. ranks last overall with poor scores on all three indicators of long, healthy, and productive lives.  Just a thought.

"Our detectives conducted an investigation and determined that Rich had sex with a 16-year-old student in early 2015 and then had sex with an 18-year-old student in late 2015. The encounters occurred at her former home" authority said in a statement.

Maj. Gen. Ronald Lewis, a former senior military aide to Defense Secretary Ash Carter, used his government credit card at strip clubs or gentlemen's clubs in Rome and Seoul, drank in excess and had "improper interactions" with women during business travel with Carter, according to a report released by the Defense Department inspector general.

Lewis took responsibility for several inappropriate actions, including charging nearly $1,800 on his government credit card at what he called a "dance club" in Rome. In an embarrassing set of circumstances, Lewis said, he tried to use his personal debit card at the club, but it didn't work, so he had to walk back to his hotel with a female employee of the club, and wake up a Defense Department staff member to get his government card to pay the bill. He said he paid back the charges when he returned to the U.S.

Ultimately the investigation only substantiated the allegations of credit card misuse, including lying to a credit card company and bank and falsifying information, according to several defense officials. Lewis faces reduction in rank and a hefty fine.

Officers were called around 2 p.m. PT Tuesday to the Broadway Village Shopping Center in El Cajon, Calif., about 15 miles northeast of San Diego, after hearing reports of an uncooperative person walking into traffic, El Cajon police said in a statement. They said the man did not have a weapon.
El Cajon Police Chief Jeff Davis said at a news conference: "At one point the male rapidly drew an object from his front pants pocket, placed both hands together on it and extended it rapidly towards the officer taking what appeared to be a shooting stance, putting the object in the officer's face.
"At this time one of the officers discharged his Taser in an effort to subdue the subject. Simultaneously the officer who had the object pointed at him discharged his firearm, striking the male."
He did not say what the object was but acknowledged it was not a weapon. Davis said investigators were reviewing the video and other video recovered from the scene, which so far coincided with the officers' statements.
