EDCA..

Every few days we seem to have a different policy from the White House. The documents are all classified so the public would be in the dark of what is really happening.

Blinken visited China and met with the Chinese top officials. Was it successful?

Few days later the president discovered that Xi is a dictator. So we got few words shared and mostly classified.

The United States stands steadfastly in support of the Philippines as we announced plans today to expand the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Arrangement (EDCA) to include four new sites: Naval Base Camilo Osias in Santa Ana, Cagayan; Camp Melchor Dela Cruz in Gamu, Isabela; Balabac Island in Palawan; and Lal-lo Airport in Cagayan. That's in addition to the five existing sites.

Allegation..

Democrats and their media allies suppressed Joe Biden’s alleged corruption even as they play up former President Donald Trump’s legal woes and failings of personal character.

Democrats blocked the House Ways and Means Committee from releasing embarrassing testimony from IRS whistleblowers claiming that the Biden Justice Department interfered with U.S. Attorney David Weiss’ ability to properly investigate Hunter Biden.

The allegations, made public suggest that Hunter Biden shook down a Chinese Communist Party official who had ties with China’s intelligence apparatus and that Joe Biden was complicit.

Evidence allegedly shows the Bidens received millions from companies linked with China’s Communist Party and its intelligence apparatus.

IRS Supervisory Agent Gary Shapely alleged that IRS investigators obtained a WhatsApp text message allegedly sent by Hunter Biden to Chinese Communist Party official Henry Zhao. He reportedly partnered with Hunter Biden to form a company called Bohai Harvest LLC. Zhao partnered with Jia Liqing, the daughter of the former head of China’s spy agency the Ministry of State Security, and its internal security agency the Ministry of Public Security, Jia Chunwang.     [Story by John Rossomando]

IRS..

IRS supervisory agent who helped oversee the investigation of Hunter Biden continues to raise questions about what he alleged was special treatment in the probe of the president's son, telling CBS News that, dating back to the Trump administration, he was repeatedly prevented from taking steps he would have considered routine in other cases.

"We have to make sure as a special agent for IRS Criminal Investigation that we treat every single person exactly the same," said Gary Shapley, a 14-year veteran of the agency, who spoke exclusively to CBS News chief investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod on Tuesday. "And that just simply didn't happen here."
Based on my experience, if this was a small business owner or any other non-connected individual, they would have been charged with felony counts," Shapley said.

Baby MaMa..

Lunden Roberts , a former DC bottle girl who once worked as Hunter's PA, raised the stakes by petitioning the court to officially rename her daughter Navy Joan Biden.
Her discovery request covers everything from Hunter's business deals in Ukraine and China to the names of the mystery art lovers who have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for his beginner paintings.
The latest confidential settlement means that Hunter Biden, 53, will avoid the public scrutiny of his murky finances. But there is no end to this enquiry and the total embarrassment associated.

It is Hunter vs. Goliath.  Just a thought.

Share..

What is a fair share? They never say. It's always more than you're now paying because the left always wants more of your money, so they can spend it wastefully and buy votes.

This brings us to Hunter Biden.

He didn't pay even the current taxes of his multi-million dollar income. He pays $20,000/month to support his out of the wedlock child, yet the taxes is the issue.

His father, the president, should be reminded of that the next time he calls for the rich to "pay their fair share." That some are not even paying the current. Just a thought.

For weapons to sell more and at higher prices, the preconditions are more tensions around the world and more risk of war, so there will be a growing, expanding market for weapons.

The more conflict-ridden the world becomes, the more reason there is for the US to expand its arms exports and increase its military deployments worldwide.

To whom and how much the US sells weapons will, on the one hand, increase regional tensions and, in turn, spur further purchases.

According to SIPRI Yearbook 2022, current US arms policy and practice too often fuel war rather than deterring it. Roughly two-thirds of current conflicts - 34 out of 46 - involve one or more parties armed by the US.

The Beast..

The big arms manufacturers profit enormously from wars and other armed conflicts, athough never acknowledged by U.S. political leaders.
In fact, without continuous and prolonged warfare that requires the deployment of their guns, bombs, tanks, warships and submarines, they would go out of business.
The American military budget is $886 billion. It is four times more than China’s military budget, and 10 times bigger than Russia’s budget. In total, the United States spends more on “defense” than the next nine countries combined.
Is it defending democracy, our freedom, weapon of mass destruction. or human rights?May be it is feeding the beast within ....

The Democrats are struggling with the thought of Donald Trump running again for the office of the presidency.

I think if they left it alone, he will go nowhere, may be.   Just a thought.

Nonstop War..

The United States has been fighting wars constantly since invading Afghanistan in 2001. This nonstop warfare is far less exceptional than it might seem: the United States has been at war or has invaded other countries almost every year since independence.

The United States of War (the book by David Vine) demonstrates how US leaders across generations have locked the United States in a self-perpetuating system of permanent war by constructing the world’s largest-ever collection of foreign military bases a global matrix that has made offensive interventionist wars

Beyond exposing the profit-making desires, political interests, racism, and toxic masculinity underlying the country’s relationship to war and empire,

The United States of War shows how the long history of U.S. military expansion shapes our daily lives, from today’s multi-trillion–dollar wars to the pervasiveness of violence and militarism in everyday U.S. life with catastrophic toll which have left millions dead, wounded, and displaced. Just a thought.

Know..

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reacted angrily after President Biden agreed in an interview that the Kremlin leader was "a killer."
"It takes one to know one," Putin said on national television, adding that the children's taunt had a "very deep meaning." People often see themselves reflected in others, Putin said, suggesting that Biden was projecting on him American guilt for slavery and the treatment of Native Americans.
Biden's off-hand comment in an interview with ABC News has ended months of tight-lipped anticipation in Moscow about where relations might head under the new administration. Hopes were not particularly high for the relationship, which Putin said in November was so spoiled that it couldn't be spoiled any more.  Just a thought.

Gender..

Grudge..

Whether Joe Biden personally profited from Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling has yet to be proved, but it certainly seems as though every person involved in the transactions was aware of the president’s role.
A text message Hunter Biden sent in 2017 to a Chinese business associate allegedly confirms as much:
"I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”
Hunter Biden was a self-destructive crack addict who tried to write off prostitutes on his tax returns. He had nothing to offer besides his father’s name, which he did, over and over again.
And now, he’s the fall guy inorder to distract from the fact that this was a family affair. Maybe that’s why the president is “very proud” of his son. [The Washington Enquirer.]

Spirited..

Lance Armstrong is widely considered one of the most prolific cheaters on the planet after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles for doping throughout his career.
But in a wild turn of events, he is now pretending to care about “fairness” in sports.
This week, Lance Armstrong posted a series of tweets in which the disgraced cyclist called for a “spirited debate” about whether or not it is fair for transgender women to compete in women’s sports and teasing a new series where he claims he will “dive into this issue with an open mind.”

Improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity

Endorphins trigger a positive feeling in the body, is often described as "euphoric."
That feeling, known as a "runner's high," can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life.
Endorphins manufactured in your brain, spinal cord, and many other parts of your body and are released in response to brain chemicals called neurotransmitters.

The neuron receptors endorphins bind to are the same ones that bind some pain medicines.

Blinking..

Blinken’s statement ruffled the feathers of many Republicans in Congress, who viewed the statement – and the secretary’s inability to re-establish military-to-military communications – as an inappropriate kowtow to America’s greatest adversary.

Blinken flew to Communist China to appease Xi Jinping and state the Biden administration does not support Taiwan’s independence.”

The Taiwan issue is among the most contentious in the US-China relationship, with Xi making it his No. 1 priority to “reunite” Taiwan with China, though the island about 100 miles off the country’s southeastern coast has never actually been part of it.

Before Blinkin can come from China, the President declared that China"s Xi is a dictator. Is the President want to smooth the relationship with China?

What did Blinken said in his meeting with Xi? Is that highly classified?

Provocation..

Russian leaders and several Western policy experts were warning more than two decades ago that NATO expansion would turn out badly—ending in a new cold war with Russia at best, and a hot one at worst.

George Kennan, the intellectual architect of America’s containment policy during the Cold War, perceptively warned in a May 2, 1998 New York Times interview what NATO’s move eastward would set in motion.

“I think it is the beginning of a new cold war,” he stated. “I think the Russians will gradually react quite adversely and it will affect their policies. I think it is a tragic mistake.”

Kennan was speaking of the first round of enlargement that brought into the Alliance Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Later rounds. Washington’s subsequent attempt to make Ukraine and Georgia members was contemptuous of Russia’s core security interests.

Peace is not a goal of some ...... the outcome is disastrous.  Just a thought.

Démarche..

The White House confirmed that an official diplomatic reprimand, known as a démarche, had been given to the US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns following President Joe Biden’s comments comparing China’s Xi Jinping to a dictator at a political fundraiser in California earlier this week.

The Chinese government called in Burns for the meeting this week in Beijing to protest Biden’s remarks, according to two US officials familiar with the matter.

National Security Council’s coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby stressed that the White House does not view the move as one with particularly significant consequences and that the US has not seen any further ramifications to the already-precarious relationship with China.

What a great accomplishment here. Just a thought.

Blame..

Censor..

A federal judge will decide whether President Joe Biden’s administration violated the First Amendment by censoring users on social media over topics like COVID and election security — and if so, what to do about it.
Republican attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana brought the lawsuit last year, alleging that the Biden administration fostered a sprawling “federal censorship enterprise” that pressured social-media platforms to scrub away dissenting views, including criticism of mask mandates and objections to Covid-19 vaccination.
Early on in the litigation, the judge permitted plaintiffs to gather evidence, like emails exchanged between White House officials and leadership at social media companies, according to The Journal.
The lawsuit claims the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Department’s Global Engagement Center and the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency colluded with social-media platforms “in hundreds of meetings about misinformation” and systematically flagged “huge quantities of First Amendment-protected speech to platforms for censorship.”

Principle..

President Biden on Tuesday night called President Xi Jinping of China a “dictator” who had been kept in the dark by his own government about the spy balloon that crossed into United States airspace this winter before being shot down by an American fighter jet.

At a campaign fund-raiser in California, Mr. Biden set off into what appeared to be an unplanned riff about the incident that ruptured relations with China for months, revealing what United States intelligence agencies had learned about the internal confusion in Beijing during the incident...
