Front...!*

Oil drum with Canadian money
Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain withdrew their ambassadors from Qatar, saying it had broken promises to them about Gulf security.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE have accused Qatar of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood,  a terrorist organization, accused of destabilizing their close ally Egypt.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE are big supporters of Syrian rebels fighting President Bashar al-Assad, an ally of Iran.

In Libya, Qatar has backed some Islamist groups. UAE and Egypt had been involved in air strikes against Libyan Islamist groups.

In late 2011 Saudi Arabia pushed for Gulf Cooperation Council members to unite "as a single entity" in a bid to join the group of six monarchies into a united front against Iran and the instability caused by that year's Arab uprisings.

However, the GCC, which also includes Kuwait and Oman, appears more divided.

Add Israel, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iran to the mix and you can see where the money is coming from and the killing is going to.

John Kerry is going to the Middle East to create a front against ISIL, or looking for a needle in a haystack.            Just a thought.

Drink...

Woman Drinks Sweet Tea Accidentally Laced With Lye

A woman eating at a Dickey’s Barbeque in South Jordan, Utah, remains in critical condition after she was poisoned from a cup of sweet tea.
Within seconds of tasting the drink 67-year-old Jan Harding’s mouth and throat started to burn. Jan spit out the tea, “I think I just drank acid.” reported.

Investigators said a Dickey’s employee mixed the chemical, “Clean Force Fryer Cleaner,” into the sweet tea drink thinking it was sugar; it has a similar appearance.
The cleaning product is sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, a caustic and dangerous chemical compound.

“It can cause pretty severe burns, potentially burn through the esophagus and cause some severe bleeding and internal injuries,” Dr. Spencer Smith said, who works in the emergency room at the U hospital.

Is this something that was stored improperly? Was it an accident? Was it intentional? We really don’t know,” South Jordan Officer Sam Winkler said. “That’s why our investigators are looking in on this case.”

I am suspicious. Just a thought.

Disruptive...

03-25-10WalmartClinicNLR_WEB.gif

Walmart is making its long-awaited move into delivering primary care: The retailer has
a half-dozen primary care clinics across South Carolina and Texas, and plans to launch six more.

The clinics will be staffed by nurse practitioners, in a partnership with QuadMed.

  • These new clinics are fully owned by the company and branded explicitly as one-stop shops for primary care.
  • The clinics will be open longer and later than competitors.
  • The company’s size and scale potential as a disruptive innovator in healthcare is essentially peerless.

  • The company’s move comes at an ideal time to capture consumers, millions of Americans are getting insurance coverage through Obamacare, and seeking new, convenient sources of care.
Walmart’s stressed that their clinics will be a low-cost alternative to traditional options: Walk-in visits will cost just $40.     Moreover, it charges $4 for a visit by an employee. What a bargain.

Atlantic City may be known for its boardwalk, beaches and Miss America pageant, but more famous for its casinos.

Casino gambling was legalized in New Jersey in 1976, making it the second state to do so after Nevada. Two years later, Resorts International, Caesars, Bally's as well as nine other glitzy hotels opened up and helped make A.C. a destination for gamblers.

New Jersey gambling revenue hit its peak back in 2006 and has declined steadily since due to competition from nearby states, New York and Pennsylvania.

Revel will join three other hotels closing in 2014, the Atlantic Club, Caesars Showboat, and the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.

Labor Day may not be much of a holiday for several thousand workers of these Casinos while a major transformation from Gambling to a family fun is taking place.

    Mirage...*

The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar, but evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants.

No evidence emerged linking the Qataris deal to the attack that killed four Americans diplomat in Benghazi.

The weapons and money from Qatar strengthened militant groups in Libya, allowing them to become a destabilizing force since the fall of the Qaddafi government.

The experience in Libya has taken on new urgency as the administration considers whether to play a direct role in arming rebels in Syria, where weapons are flowing in from Qatar and other countries.

So who is Moderate?   NON,   THEY ALL THE SAME.

    Foley and World Power's Course.

    Image result for james foley
An American freelance journalist and photojournalist who was covering the Syrian Civil War when he was abducted on November 22, 2012. He is reportedly believed to be the first victim, with American citizenship of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (I.S.)

Foley was a teacher before he switched to journalism. In 2009 he worked on USAID-funded development projects in Iraq, and later became an embedded journalist with U.S. troops there. In 2011 he joined the U.S. military newspaper Stars and Stripes in Afghanistan. Later that year, working for GlobalPost in Libya, he was captured by forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi and held for 44 days. When captured in Syria the following year, he was working for Agence France-Presse and GlobalPost.

He wanted to show the world the truth of war through photos. But terrorist don't want to be exposed.

Because of him, the world realized how dangerous this group is and how wrong those who support this group are. Because of his work, short life, and death, the world's power have changed course.

    May he rest in peace.

Harassment is a form of employment discrimination that violates the law.  It is unwelcome conduct that is based on race, color.......

It is illegal when the conduct becomes a condition of continued employment, or the conduct is severe or pervasive enough to create a work environment that a reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile, or abusive.
Petty slights, annoyances, and isolated incidents (unless extremely serious) will not rise to the level of illegality.

Employers are encouraged to take appropriate steps to prevent and correct unlawful harassment. They should clearly communicate to employees that unwelcome harassing conduct will not be tolerated.
The image shows a fun loving woman, checking if the pants really made of cotton. So no unwelcomed conduct there, may be.         Just a thought.

    How Bad is a Dictator?

The foreign minister said the Syrian government repeatedly has warned of the threat of terrorism and the need to cut off resources and funding but “no one listened to us.” Syria’s government has long described the rebels fighting to topple Assad as “terrorists” in a foreign conspiracy.

Syria is ready to co-operate and co-ordinate on the regional and international level in the war on terror,” Al-Moallem said. “But any effort to combat terrorism [in Syria]should be coordinated with the Syrian government.

Lord Dannatt said UK government should open talks with the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad as part of the campaign against Isis.  Sir Malcolm Rifkind, the Conservative former foreign secretary and chairman of the intelligence and security committee, who said it was sometimes necessary to work with "extremely nasty" people in order to defeat enemies who were even worse.

    Here it is.

ISIS should be targeted in a way that makes the Syrian Army get back territories.

Remove its capability to move tanks, cars, forces, etc.

Quatar-Saudi should stop providing support, Turkey stop the flow through, and accordingly all professional foreign fighters would leave the area if they are not killed for trying to leave.

The terrorist leaders should be targeted in Syria, coordinated with the Assad Regime, and operations should be paraded in the various news.

This is a military operation with a big social propaganda.

    California's Earthquake.....

    Broken Wine bottles.
The strongest earthquake [6.0-magnitude] in 25 years in Northern California struck early Sunday.
"Everything and everyone in Napa was affected by the quake. My house, along with everybody else's, is a disaster. It looks like somebody broke in and ravaged the place, room by room," said CNN iReporter Malissa Koven,
Nearly 160 were treated for minor injuries at the emergency room at Queen of the Valley Hospital.
At least 15,000 customers in and around Sonoma, Napa and Santa Rosa lost power.
In historic downtown Napa, the bricks and beams that once made up buildings' facades lay splayed in the street. Shattered glassware covered the floor of a local restaurant. One home had visible charring from a fire that occurred in the aftermath of the quake. Gas leaks and downed power lines were also reported.
All in all it was nothing major for such a strong Earthquake. Nothing to report.

British security services MI5 reportedly identified a British hip-hop artist as the key suspect in the hunt for the killer of American journalist James Foley.

The Sunday Times newspaper said Abdel Bary, from West London, had become a crucial part of the investigation. “senior government sources.”

Bary, 23, is the son of an Egyptian-born militant who is awaiting trial on terror charges in New York tied to the deadly 1998 bombings of embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

The Islamic State carried out what American officials called its first “terrorist attack” against the U.S., meaning the killing of American journalist James Foley.

U.S. intelligence and military officials have begun collecting geographic information about current Islamic State strongholds and leadership positions inside Syria, CNN reported. The Obama administration has been hinting about Syrian intervention since.

No faith teaches people to massacre innocents,” Obama said in his statement. “No just God would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day.”
The entire world is “appalled” by the brutal death of American journalist James Foley.

The United States will continue to do what it must to protect Americans and confront these Islamic extremists. “justice will be done” to those that captured and killed Foley.

A Frenchman held prisoner claims he knows who the American journalist’s executioner is — a jihadist known as ‘John the Jailer.’
He is believed to be from London, was reportedly the “lead rebel negotiator during talks earlier to release 11 hostages – eventually handed to Turkish officials after ransom paid,” according to The Guardian.

An international manhunt is underway by the FBI, MI5 and Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism command. The CIA and other similar agencies are on it as well. U.S. drones and fighter jets have launched strikes across Iraq, hitting additional targets in the area of the vital Mosul Dam.   ISIS collapsed.

Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans said the fight against Islamic State insurgents can only be successful if the jihadi militants are confronted in Syria as well as Iraq. U.S. government finding a common enemy with the Assad regime, which is fighting militants on their side of the border.

US can't partner with Assad overtly at this time, but the logic and trajectory of White House policy in Syria leads in that direction."

President Al-Assad’s forces have significantly stepped up their own campaign against militant strongholds in Syria, carrying out dozens of air strikes against the Islamist group’s headquarters in the past two days. Syria forces didn't collapse after years of fighting unlike Iraq.

    Onion-Ferguson

Shortly before noon on Aug. 9, Brown walked into Ferguson Market and Liquor, a convenience store on West Florissant Avenue. At approximately 11:51, according to a police report, an officer received a call that a robbery was in progress at the store. But the suspect, who a Brown family lawyer has acknowledged “appears to be” Brown from surveillance footage, was gone when the officer arrived.

It is reported on the police communication system with the description of Brown and his friend. Then the officer seen the two attracting the attention to themselves.

What happened in the video in the market [Robbery] is exactly what happened in the street with the officer. One exception, the officer got a gun and was at fear for his life.

If it was calm situation the officer could have used one bullet to cause the same damage, but what happened indicates that the officer was in fear of his life and that the distance between both were just few feet.

Witnesses have said they saw a scuffle between the officer and Brown at a police car before the young man was shot.

Others said a 6-foot-4, 292-pound Brown charged at Wilson, prompting the officer to fire at least six shots at him.

The politicians and the officials are silent about the contact, but all is coming out gradually and soon.

    The Red ... Guo..

RCSC’s troubles started in 2011, when Guo Meimei posted numerous pictures of a lavish lifestyle on Sina Weibo. She claimed to be a manager of the Chinese Red Cross, and her postings sparked outrage from people who saw them as evidence that donations to RCSC were being embezzled.

RCSC denied any affiliation with her, and she admitted in a (and highly publicized) television confession that she had lied about having a position with RCSC.
Still, the damage had been done. As a result of the scandal, donations to RCSC decreased year-on-year.

As thousands in southwest China struggle in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake, the country’s main charity has a plea: forget rumors and scandals of the past and open your wallet now.

Guo Meimei, widely considered China’s most brazen “professional mistress”, came through the same means she achieved fame and notoriety an indiscriminate series of ostentatious and overly revealing internet blog posts.

Ms Guo, 23, was arrested by police with seven others ahead of the football World Cup final, amid a crackdown on the massive illegal online betting on the tournament. Rather indiscreetly, she had been bragging to her legion of nearly two million followers on Weibo – China’s broad equivalent of Twitter – about the big bets she was making. Seems like lighting a devise.
Unrest in Ferguson flared anew after the local police released a video showing the alleged participation by Brown in a convenience store robbery.

Missouri Governor imposed curfew after a week of racially charged protests and looting. Police arrested seven protesters.

A person was shot and critically wounded during the night. It was not clear why, and the shooter was still at large.

Police used tear gas and smoke bombs to push back crowds.

"I think the first message is to remind all law enforcement that they are hired to serve and protect and if they’re going to sit back and watch looting, they're not serving us; they’re not protecting us," Pastor Robert White told the station.

From what is happening, people wants the police to protect them from professional  looters, and criminal elements impeded in the demonstration.

It looks like we need more police than before.

    Perry is Indicted... What?

    Indictment

A grand jury indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Friday [my day off] for allegedly abusing the powers of his office by carrying out a threat to veto funding for state prosecutors investigating public corruption.
A special prosecutor spent months calling witnesses and presenting evidence that Perry broke the law when he promised publicly to nix $7.5 million over two years for the public integrity unit, which is run by Travis County DA Rosemary Lehmberg's office. It's the same office that indicted U.S. Rep. Tom Delay as part of a finance probe.

Several top aides to the Governor appeared before grand jurors in Austin, including his deputy chief of staff, legislative director and general counsel.
Lehmberg[D] oversees the office's public integrity unit, which investigates statewide allegations of corruption and political wrongdoing. Perry said he wouldn't allow Texas to fund the unit while Lehmberg remained in charge.

An investigation of Lehmberg by a separate grand jury, decided she should not be removed for official misconduct [Drunk Driving ].

Lehmberg served 45-day jail sentence but stayed in office, despite Perry's assertions that her behavior was inappropriate.

Police confront a protester in St Louis

"This is a boy who did everything right, who never got into a fight, who stayed in school."

The surveillance video shows a large African-American man pushing aside a smaller man who seemingly tries to stop him, then leaving the store. The larger man "appears to be" Michael Brown.
Newly released police documents claim the teenager roughly handled a clerk trying to stop him before walking out of the store with the box of Swisher Sweets Cigar.
The Ferguson police officer who shot him didn't stop him because he was suspected in a convenience-store robbery, but because he was "walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic," the city's police chief said Friday.

Protests in the St. Louis suburb turned violent, with some people lobbing Molotov cocktails and other objects at police who responded with smoke bombs and tear gas to disperse the crowd. Others robbed and destroy shops, stores and many arresteded.
We don't know everything happened, but what would peaceful people do without police in riot gear? See for yourself.

    Oil Demand.

    charging electric car

The crude oil market has seen dramatic spikes starting with the Arab Spring in 2010 and continuing into this past June, but some investors are betting that the bull market for oil is over.

Oil started the year at $89 and rallied to $106 during the worst of the headlines out of Iraq.

"The Iraq news was supposed to be good for the bull ... but instead, that trend ended shortly after—a clear tell-tale that the bull market has run its course,".

European economic growth certainly is not pointing to any increase in demand for internationally priced oil. The euro zone's second-quarter gross domestic product showed flat growth, with the economy of European powerhouse Germany actually contracting.

Global demand appears to be waning elsewhere, China's demand for crude fell 2 percent year over year in July. This recent figure supported other weak demand data from the country. The various conflicts in the Middle east will have no value to the OPIC.

    Loss of Civilization.

ESCAPE: A Yazidi family who made it out of Sinjar to a Kurdish controlled area.
    Kurds running from ....
ISIS views Iraq’s majority Shiites and other religious minorities as infidels who should be killed if they refuse to convert to Sunni Islam. They accuse the Kurds, most of whom are Sunnis, of secularism.

Britain is intensifying its involvement in Iraq by flying military equipment on behalf of Jordan to Kurdish forces fighting Islamic State (Isis) jihadists in northern Iraq.

The French presidency said arms shipment will be delivered "in the coming hours" and has the blessing of authorities in Baghdad.

More European help is also possible. A high-level EU diplomatic meeting late Tuesday ended with a statement that it would consider the Kurdish request for urgent military support "in close coordination with Iraqi authorities."

The Kurds will soon be getting long-range weapons. Armor-piercing munitions to help penetrate heavily fortified tanks captured by ISIS from both the Syrian and Iraqi militaries.

Where are the Arab world from that conflict? Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Syria, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, any voice of assistance?

    Who Support ISIS? FTC?

ISIS, now threatening Baghdad and the Kurds, was funded for years by oil wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

ISIS reportedly have a stream of steady income sources, from selling oil sometimes directly to the Assad regime.

The three U.S. allies have dual agendas in the war on terror. There, the threat of Iran, Assad, and the Sunni-Shiite sectarian.

The United States and Gulf countries have been secretly backing efforts by opposition rebels to destroy al-Qaeda's most extreme wing in Syria.

John McCain told CNN’s Crowley in January 2014. “Thank God for the Saudis, and Qatari friends,” for supporting forces fighting Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria. ISIS is one of these forces. [The Atlantic]

It is the oil prices that support the Lawlessness. Let us reduce the price of oil to $80/Barrel. Can the FTC reduce buying oil on credit? Would that reduce the prices and wealth?.

    McCain and ISIS

McCain has been calling for greater U.S. military intervention in Syria ever since Bashar al-Assad’s regime cracked down violently on peaceful protests in 2011.

He dismissed the notion that increasing American military assistance to rebels in Syria could worsen the conflict there. “More harm could happen?!”  . That’s ludicrous!” he said.

Here it is, happening in front of our eyes. The rebels in Syria lost some grounds, moved to Iraq and created havoc. Got the American weapons given to the Iraqis and now ISIS started their programs.

Some understanding of this area would go a long way.

Russia, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and USA are standing on one side against ISIS. Israel is monitoring since Hamas is a division of the theory.

Let us enforce our relationship with the Countries that oppose ISIS. May be a new world of peace can happen while dealing with ISIS.
