Declared..

It’s all very well that President Biden and his European allies have repeatedly assured us they have absolutely no intention of getting involved in a direct military confrontation with nuclear-armed Russia.

But, frankly, it’s not so difficult to see that promise being swept aside in the face of unexpected pressures and changing circumstances. It’s not hard to imagine the war in Ukraine careening off in ever more dangerous directions.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin that the US aims to weaken Russia so much that it can't attempt a military incursion like the one in Ukraine again.
"We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can't do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine."
*****Did this administration joining the war against Russia without the Congress approval nor the United States Citizens approval?
Did we just declare war? Is that for Biden to keep his hold on power?

Fear..

The problems of these issues started with Mr. Biden's "Executive Decisions" day one as he said.

Now the administration is back pedaling to fix the original executive orders by many additional orders that ruining people's lives not only in USA, but around the globe.  Just a thought.   Just a "4 years term of fear from ruin " thought.

Title 42..

President Biden's administration will comply with an upcoming order from a federal judge in Louisiana that is expected to block the removal of COVID-19 border restrictions.

The Biden administration had previously planned to end Title 42 on May 23, a move that would have resulted in a surge in illegal immigration.

Louisiana district court judge has announced plans to block such a move until Biden negotiates a deal with Republican border states.

"If and when the court issues the TRO [temporary restraining order] the department is planning to comply with that order," the official said, going on to complain about the decision.

Who is advising this administration? Who is making these decisions?

Catastrophic...

Nord Stream 2 also was shut down at Biden request.

Inflation in the euro zone has hit a record high for the sixth consecutive month, sparking further questions over how the European Central Bank will react.

Headline inflation in the 19-member region reached 7.5% in April, according to preliminary estimates by Europe's statistics office released Friday. In March, the figure came in at 7.4%

Earlier this week, Russia's energy firm Gazprom halted gas flows to two EU nations for not paying for the commodity in rubles. The move sparked fears that other countries may also be cut off.

Analysts at Gavekal, a financial research firm, said that if Gazprom were to also cut supplies to Germany, "the economic effects would be catastrophic."

"We should be rather clear: in the short run, it will be very difficult for Europe, if not impossible, to substitute the Russian gas flows. So, this can be a medium-to-long term debate … but in the short run, I think we need to stay focused and make sure that we keep also European industry, European households supplied with gas," Stern said.

And with that, the west lead by USA is pushing to expand the Ukranian war. Just a thought.

Sound Decisions....

Stocks tumbled into the closing bell today, with all three major equity indexes shedding more than 2.7% to end an ugly week and month on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA fell about 938 points, or 2.8%, ending the session near 32,977. Continued carnage in technology-related stocks left the S&P 500 index SPX down 3.6% on Friday, while the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP lost 4.2%.

It also marked the worst month for the Dow and S&P 500 since March 2020, but the 13.3% monthly skid for the Nasdaq was its biggest drop since October 2008, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Investor were digesting disappointing quarterly results from Amazon.com Inc. AMZN , which reported its first loss in seven years

The Federal Reserve next week is expected to pull the trigger on its first half-percentage point interest rate increase since 2000, as it looks to potentially tighten financial conditions dramatically to fight inflation that's been running at 40-year highs.

The central bank also could begin reducing its near $9 trillion balance sheet, reversing its large-scale asset purchases used to help stabilize markets during the COVID crisis.

Thank you Mr. President. Your executive decisions of "Day One" in the office as promised is taking the world to bankruptcy intensified by our reaction to the war in the Ukraine.

Goose Step..

And when it's not bombs at home, it's bombs away. Or perhaps in Joe Biden's case, both.

The current president is perhaps the leading exemplar of American banditry, coupling treachery with an infallible instinct for doing the wrong thing.

His own former boss, President Barack Obama, is said to have remarked upon his Vice President's "ability to f*** things up." And that ability has not diminished with time.

So, of course, to war. Whether in lock-step or goose-step, the rest of the ruling class amplifies Biden's thirst for something, anything that provides respite from domestic catastrophe.

We are just days away from front-page headlines dubbing the tent cities across America "Bidenvilles." Something must be done. And that thing, to paraphrase Vice President Kamala Harris, is the thing they have been doing, every day: point at Russia.

"Putin is the devil and Russia subverted American democracy" has become a moralistic mantra for every Biden booster and Foggy Bottom staffer.

But flaccid, obfuscatory jaw-jawing over the moral turpitude of Russia's dealings with Ukraine has also whet the appetites of the long-benched war lobby.

Goose step for some, the Rockets for others.

Boot..

Gov. Kathy Hochul is urging state lawmakers to help boot her embattled former Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin off the Democratic ballot in the upcoming June 28 Democratic primary.

Benjamin — indicted in a pay-to-play bribery scandal — resigned from office in disgrace but his name will still appear on the primary ballot due to election laws. The governor, however, believes that Albany can pass a law to fix the ticket.

Governor Houcle choose Benjamin to be her running mate as lieutenant governor.

What's up with the Democrats? What kind of choices they are making?

Hope..

In this particular painting we can see a face made up of reeds [any of various tall grasses with slender often prominently jointed stems that grow especially in wet areas] but you may have spotted that the eyes and nose resemble a unique bird.

For many, the stork symbolises joy and reminds us that there is a bright future on the horizon.

Storks are said to most importantly represent hope, which is why they are commonly associated with new-born babies.

Hunger Cliff..

Families across America are precariously perched on the edge of a hunger cliff. With inflation on the rise and supply chain backlogs, more families have been turning to food banks, forcing programs nationwide to ration supplies and cut services.

And now the war in Ukraine is leading to more food shortages and driving up prices even further.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has estimated that as many as 30 million adults and 12 million children are living in food-insecure households.

And the U.S. Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey found that in the last seven days, 10.3% of respondents sometimes or often did not have enough to eat. Local food aid organizations are essential community resources for families during this crisis, but they cannot do it all by themselves.

With that in mind, the secretary of defense said "The Biden administration’s aim in the Ukraine war is to see Russia’s military capabilities degraded and Ukraine’s strengthened, to prevent Moscow from attempting to conquer territory by force in the future.

Ignoring the hungry children worldwide, and fuel the destruction of the Ukraine, a small price for this Biden administration just to inflame hate towards the Russian people.  Just athought.

Receded..

The United States is out of the Covid-19 pandemic phase, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

"We are certainly, right now, in this country, out of the pandemic phase," Fauci said on PBS NewsHour Tuesday.

"Namely, we don't have 900,000 new infections a day.

Covid-19 cases in the US have tumbled dramatically over the past couple of months as the Omicron wave receded.

Fewer people are dying of Covid-19 now than during most of the pandemic, but with more than 400 deaths a day, the past two months of Covid-19 have been more deadly than most recent flu seasons.

So the virus did what it did, then morphed and moved out. All those who claimed Science, knowledge, life savers techniques and mandates have been all for their own self advancement.

No one said the cause of death with Covid-19 associated illness. Just a thought.

Faces..

Most people either saw a pair of faces in silhouette or the stark outline of a tree when they first looked at the picture.

"If the first thing you paid attention to was a couple looking at each other, then you're a romantic at heart," the narrator explained.

You really value the people in your life. Love and understanding mean a lot to you.

"Not to mention, you have a positive and friendly personality," he continued.

If you saw the faces, you probably also have strong reasoning abilities that can calm down your friends when they're nervous or agitated.

On the other hand, if you saw more natural elements in the image, you probably value solitude.

"If your attention was instantly drawn to a tree, you're the type who occasionally needs to be on their own," the narrator said.

"You love nature and solitude but don't mind spending time with your loved ones as well."

But just because you like solitude doesn't mean you're callous.

"You're a tactful person who avoids hurting others' feelings by all means."

Fault..

Blind..

In this new century of war, Americans have lost their way. We have become existentially unmoored. The very language we use to describe war with strangely disconnected words like “asymmetric” or “hybrid” tells the world how confused and uncertain we feel when it comes to using military power effectively. But war has not changed in 10,000 years.

We seem to think “real war” is about something else entirely: tank-on-tank, airpower resplendent, forces moving majestically on the field of battle. Other wars are somehow lesser and unworthy.

Hence even as we assault the walls or trenches right in front of us, our psychic energy is still flowing to the battles we yearn to fight. Our war-desire always overcomes reality. Because we are always dreaming of the war we want, we are blind to the war we have. Thus our failures have not been defeats necessarily on the battlefield, but deeper defeats: defeats of the mind.

This is not a problem of simply seeing war wrongly, but rather that in seeing it wrongly, there are almost immediate negative effects — on our warfighting, our strategy, and our society. We have lost wars because fighting the war we wanted was more important to us than winning the war we had. — as in Vietnam, as in Iraq.

ARE WE BLIND TO AN ENDURING REALITY OF WAR?   -AUGUST 20, 2014

Dementia in Chief..

Russian newspaper is taking aim at President Biden, claiming he suffers from dementia.

Citing the World Health Organization’s definition of dementia, Lyudmila Plotnikova, the author of the article, said Biden is "very elderly" and "too often in the last years of his life he either forgot names and dates, or lost his orientation in space."

Pointing to columns written by American physicians, as well as previous health battles Biden has faced, including those related to brain aneurysms, the paper suggested Biden has repeatedly "embarrassed himself" on the world stage as a result of some kind of cognitive impairment.

The paper highlighted a recent appearance Biden made in North Carolina where he "finished his speech, turned to the side and began to speak into empty space, and then began to imitate a handshake with someone invisible."

"Biden began to feverishly look around the stage on which he stood," the author said of the incident. "His expression was confused. This miserable spectacle ended with the fact that the president began to wander aimlessly around the crowded hall."

Nothing is wrong with that.

We labled Putin with many thing we did in Iraq, Syria, Libya but we completely forgot.

Lips..

“If you saw the rooster first, it means you’re quite shy,” Meriot said.

“You only like attention when you’re in the right mood.”

People who saw a pair of lips immediately have a very different personality

If you saw the mouth first, it means you’re confident, strong, and independent,” Meriot explained.

But that comes with a drawback: “you can be a little bit stubborn and aggressive when things don’t go the exact way you want them to,” he added.

Some viewers said that Meriot’s descriptions fit them exactly.

Loyal..

This optical illusion can reveal how traditional you are.

There are two images hidden in this silhouette and the one you see first can be very revealing.

You could see either an elephant or a village with huts, trees and birds.

Those who see the village in the optical illusion first are more traditional.

They prefer calmness and a peaceful, simple way of life instead of the buzz of a city.

And those who see the elephant first are loyal and respectful of their friends and family.

They are a great listener as well as friendly, thoughtful and considerate. They are well-liked and respected.

So look for the Elephant.  Just a thought.

Sinking..

Shaving..

Walking at a brisk pace could shave years off your biological age, new research suggests.

Researchers from the University of Leicester and Leicester Biomedical Research Centre looked at genetic data from 405,981 middle-aged UK residents, averaging in their mid 50s.  They compared the typical self-reported walking pace of participants with signs of biological aging by measuring a key marker of cellular health called telomeres

Telomeres are the tail ends of chromosomes, or strands of our DNA, and provide stability as cells divide over time. As we age, telomeres become shorter, like a candle burning down — shorter telomeres are linked to age-related illnesses such as cancer.

A faster walking pace was associated with fewer markers of aging in a large group of older adults with data suggesting that faster walking may reduce markers of aging by as much as 16 years by midlife, according to a study published April 20 in the journal Communications Biology

The Gap..

France's Emmanuel Macron looks set to comfortably beat his far-right rival Marine Le Pen in Sunday's election, securing a second term as president on his pro-business and pro-EU agenda.

Centrist Macron looks set to gain around 58% with Marine Le Pen of the nationalist and far-right National Rally party on 42%.

Immediately after the exit polls, Le Pen spoke to her supporters in Paris and accepted defeat. She said her result was a "victory" for her political movement and pointed to parliamentary elections which take place in June.

Despite the predicted victory for Macron, the margin represents a smaller gap between the two candidates.

Palm..

The world's top palm-oil producer announced that it will ban exports of the commodity starting Thursday, sending the prices of edible oils soaring.

Indonesia accounts for about half of the world's supply of palm oil, the world's most widely used vegetable oil. Palm oil is used for cooking and for the production of thousands of consumer products including biscuits, detergents, and lipsticks.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo said the move was designed to bring down domestic palm-oil prices and ensure domestic food availability in the wake of global food inflation.

"The move comes as Indonesia has seen recent protests over the high prices of cooking oil, with retail prices gaining more than 40% so far this year, according to Reuters.

The ban is expected to be in place until further notice. Indonesian palm-oil exports are worth about $30 billion in 2021, according to data provider Statista.

Coal..

On April 8, 2022, the European Union announced that it would ban all coal imports from Russia starting in August this year. While the total value of these imports is relatively small, this will have large implications for both European and global coal balances.

Russian coal is generally of high quality and the coal that would be freed up and shipped to Europe is of low quality (low CV), which is a problem for European power plants. What makes matters more complicated is that Japan is working on replacing their Russian coal imports too. The likely effect is a tightening of high-quality coal balances worldwide.

A ban on imports of Russian gas is currently viewed as the most difficult to deal with for European economies. Over the past 5 years, Russian gas imports accounted for about 38% of European gas consumption.

Deceit..

The Democratic party has great interest in continuing the Ukraine war even if the Ukraine is destroyed.

The President Himself Biden said " President Biden on Tuesday said he is doing "everything" within his power to "bring down the price" of gas across the nation, saying family budgets and Americans' abilities to "fill up" their gas tanks should not "hinge on whether a dictator" like Russian President Vladimir Putin "declares war" or "commits genocide."

Easy to say Putin caused higher prices, inflation, and food shortage and not our own Democratic Party with shutting down Keystone pipe line ..etc.

The Federal Election Commission has fined Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign $8,000 and the Democratic National Committee $105,000 for obscuring their funding of the "Steele dossier," a 2016 opposition research report that sought to highlight alleged links between Donald Trump and Russia.

The campaign mislabeled Steele's work as "legal services" and "legal and compliance consulting" in campaign filings, the FEC concluded.

So it was important to create the conflict and have it as long as the Democrats are able to hold power in November 2022.

It is deliberate deceit of the American people. Just a "Deceitful" thought.

Fire..

Since January 2021, the United States has invested more than $4 billion in security assistance to demonstrate our enduring and steadfast commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This includes more than $3.4 billion since Russia’s launched its premeditated, unprovoked, and brutal war against Ukraine on February 24.  Since 2014, the United States has provided more than $6.1 billion in security assistance for training and equipment to help Ukraine preserve its territorial integrity, secure its borders, and improve interoperability with NATO.

One can understand the aide provided to the Ukraine is to keep the war going in the Ukraine.

Keep refugees leaving the country, keep the destruction of a country to continue and promoting Food shortage in poor countries, Higher prices and inflation allover, and USA is just not doing anything productive to help end the conflict.

Integrity of all countries and security of all countries must be respected but we didn't.

The support for Ukraine should be focused towards resolving the issue with the Russians not going around talk nonsense. Let us go to work towards PEACE instead of pouring gas to the fire.

Just a "Peaceful" thought.

Midterm..

The latest Gallup survey released Friday finds Fifty-six percent of those surveyed in the latest poll disapprove of Biden’s job performance as president. That’s a near reversal from his approval numbers when he entered office, when 57 percent of adults surveyed said they approved of the way he was handling his job.

Gallup noted that Biden’s average approval rating for this point in his term is lower than all other predecessors going back to the 1950s.

President Biden caused this dissatisfaction of the public, it is a result of his "Day One in the office" executive actions which caused higher prices of oil, goods, heating homes, Inflation, borders problems and now his support for the complete destruction of the Ukraine as he desire to prolong the war.  Just a thought.

NYC..

Only in NYC. The Democratic Politicians want the money from the businesses and taxes and the price of it is to force everyone to be masked. No other Cities are forcing their citizen to it. Just a thought.

Healing..

The healing of this nation as promised. Higher Prices, Inflation, Covid-19 one million death, south borders out of control and blaming of Putin on theis administration's failure.

Lies..

Economics professor Brian Brenberg said President Biden’s message is "not resonating" after doubling down on the inflation blame game.

"You can't message a disaster," Brenberg said on. This is the problem. He doesn't have any results to speak of."

During a speech, Biden once again blamed COVID and Russian President Vladimir Putin for rising prices.

"Let’s be absolutely clear about why we have such high prices now. There are two reasons. First was COVID… So because of the pandemic, we had disruptions in our supply of important materials, so prices went up," Biden said in New Hampshire on Tuesday. "The second big reason for inflation is Vladimir Putin – not a joke. Putin's invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices and food prices all over the world."

Biden’s comments come on the heels of the latest reading from the Consumer Price Index showing prices surged 8.4% in March from the previous year, topping the previous month’s 40-year high of 7.9%.

"So instead of talking about good things, he has to find other people to pin the bad things on," t "But it’s not resonating."

The President is aware of what he is saying, he just doesn't care, others will apologized for him and he just continue.

Many of his decision, executive actions, Day One, is backfiring now as he caused the Gasoline prices tripled  followed by Inflation. Now he is blaming any one else, than his party that forced him into this direction.

So there is no good plan the President can stand behind, so just say any thing crazy. Some think he is senile, and others think he just doesn't know what and who to follow. Its the party that has its eye on the power.

Swing..

Does anyone know who's running the Current Democratic Government. It's a pendulum work out.

Marine..

French far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, the leader of the National Rally party is taking on incumbent Emmanuel Macron in a runoff election on Sunday that could determine the future direction of Europe.

Pro-European Union centrist Macron is leading in the polls ahead of the vote, but if Le Pen—who has said she would pull France out of NATO's military command and reduce French support for the EU— were to triumph, a different new Europe would become.

Le Pen traveled to Moscow to meet Putin when she was running for the presidency in 2017, received loans from a Russian bank to fund her party and supported Putin's illegal annexation of Crimea.

But she has sought to distance herself from Russia in recent months and has condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

In a March 2017 interview with CBS News, Le Pen called concerns that Putin posed a threat to Europe "a big scam."

Asked if she felt Putin threatened France and other countries, she said: "No, I don't believe it is so. Nothing Vladimir Putin has done would make me reach that conclusion."
