The Company....
Former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert, convicted last year of a financial crime in a hush-money case, had agreed to pay $3.5 million to buy the silence of an individual who he sexually abused when the victim was a teenager, federal prosecutors said.
He admitted to paying $1.7 million in cash to someone he had known for decades to buy that person's silence and compensate for past misconduct toward that individual.
Hastert faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison when sentenced later this month for his guilty plea in October to a federal charge of "structuring" - evading bank reporting rules by withdrawing large amounts of cash in small increments.
This era's problems would not end at all. Just a thought.

The Swing
The Tea Party movement have called for a reduction of the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit by reducing government spending on Medicaid and Medicare, but not the Military, and for lower taxes on corporation.[after Bush's$12 Trillion Debt].
The movement opposes government-sponsored universal healthcare.
The first significant break between Ryan and the tea party came at the beginning of 2014, when he collaborated with Senator Patty Murray, the Democratic chair of the Senate Budget Committee.
Today, Trump’s message doesn’t talk about how evil the capital gains tax is or how awesome privatized social security will be. It’s one that emphasizes restoring national greatness through trade protectionism, entitlement safeguarding and immigration restriction
The Tea party never really had a coherent ideology outside of opposition to Obama’s policies.
The day after Palin endorsed Trump, Rush Limbaugh made a rather stunning admission on his radio show: “Nationalism and populism have overtaken conservatism in terms of appeal.” For a man who’s built his career on conservatism, that’s a pretty big statement to make.
A big swing is happening on the Republican Party which may pave the way for a Democratic President. But the Democrats have their violent swing as well. The outcome will be better for the people of USA. Just a thought.
One Loophole....
The Treasury Department introduced a regulation that would negate the tax benefits of Pfizer's acquisition of Allergan. Shares in Allergan opened down more than 15 percent on Tuesday, after the U.S. Treasury Department proposed new tax regulations that could kill its $160 billion agreement to be bought by Pfizer.
Pfizer's deal to buy Dublin-based Allergan was conceived under rules that would have allowed the company to move its headquarters to Ireland and lower its tax rate.
Tax inversion is a term for the relocation of a corporation's legal domicile to a lower-tax nation, or corporate haven, usually while retaining its material operations in its higher-tax country of origin.
Tax inversions are a form of tax avoidance, whereby corporations and individuals arrange their affairs to legally reduce their tax obligations. U.S. Internal Revenue Code imposes income tax on the profits of American corporations' foreign subsidiaries. This creates a strong incentive for American companies with large overseas markets to seek to re-characterize themselves as a foreign corporation.
Lack of competition with Canada, Prevent individual from importing their own medication, Allowing fake internet pharmacies which scam the consumer, free to price their medication 5000% higher than what it was a week ago and you get Monopoly.
How much did Pfizer paid in taxes the past five years? Just a thought.

Experience.. ..
Hillary Clinton’s vote to authorize the Iraq War haunted her on the campaign trail. It put her in stark contrast with then-Senator Barack Obama, who touted his foresight in opposing the ill-fated war.
President Obama was deeply wary of another military venture in a Muslim country. Most of his senior advisers were telling him to stay out. Still, he dispatched Mrs. Clinton to sound out Mr. Jibril, a leader of the Libyan opposition.
Defense secretary, Robert Gates, later say that in a “51-49” decision, it was Mrs. Clinton’s support that put the ambivalent president over the line. The consequences would be more far-reaching than anyone imagined, leaving Libya a failed state and a terrorist haven.
Clinton joined Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and right-wing Israelis to try to isolate, even defeat, Iran. In 2010, she supported secret negotiations between Israel and Syria to attempt to wrest Syria from Iran’s influence. Then the CIA and Clinton pressed successfully for Plan B: to overthrow Assad.
When the unrest of the Arab Spring broke out in early 2011, the CIA and the anti-Iran front of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey saw an opportunity to topple Assad quickly and thereby to gain a geopolitical victory. Clinton became the leading proponent of the CIA-led effort at Syrian regime change.
So what do we have here. We are fighting in Libya and Syria, a no man's Land but the terrorists.
what kind of Foreign policy experience does Hillary have?
