Sovereignty...
The Russian Defense Ministry blasted the U.S.'s shooting down of a Syrian fighter jet as a "massive violation of international law" and said it will begin treating U.S.-led coalition jets flying west of the Euphrates River in Syria as targets.
The ministry's comments Monday came after a U.S. Navy fighter jet on Sunday shot down a Syrian fighter jet that dropped bombs on rebel forces fighting ISIS in Syria.
It was the first time the U.S. has engaged in air-to-air combat in Syria, signaling an escalation of the conflict. It is is also the first time an American aircraft has shot down any other country's plane in air-to-air combat since 1999.
Russia, which is backing the Syrian regime in the civil war, slammed the U.S. action as a violation of Syria's sovereignty.
We got into Afghanistan then into Iraq and 15 years lated we are bleeding there. . Let us not get involved in Syria. Enough already. .

Caught...*
Bernie Saunders said. "People have described her as having a preference for being 'caught trying.' " That distinguishes Clinton's foreign policy approach from Obama's, whose instinctive caution has been summed up by the phrase, "Don't Do Stupid [Stuff]."
She paid a political price for backing Bush's invasion of Iraq in 2003, as well as the Libyan intervention in 2011, which left a violent vacuum in which four Americans were later killed in Benghazi.
"Given the fact that many of her decisions to use military force have come back to haunt the United States.
Senator Sanders questioned Secretary Clinton’s judgment in voting in support of a war with Iraq back in 2002, and furthered the issue of poor judgement by highlighting her support of policies promoting regime change in Libya and Syria since then.
The rapid decline of Libya from a relatively stable nation state to the chaotic morass of Islamist-infused anarchy that exists today makes even that contention moot. There can be no doubt that Libya and the world was better off with Gaddafi in charge.
Hillary Clinton has a clear record of advocating for “regime change” in Damascus. The role played by the United States in facilitating the rise of Muslim extremism inside Syria is a dark chapter in the history of American foreign policy, she helped promoting the very violence that plagues that nation to this day.
Is Hillary a bad photo copy of Bush? Don't Do Stupid Stuff.

Dr. Oz testified in a Senate hearing and acknowledged that his backing of so-called "miracle" weight loss products have "provided fodder for unscrupulous advertisers," Consumerist reported. OZ had a history of being a bit overly enthusiastic about some of the alternative and nontraditional treatments he’s highlighted, resulting in countless scammers cashing in on the questionable weight-loss treatments he’s described as “miracles,” like the green coffee extract.
Senator Clair McCaskill, "I'm concerned that you are melding medical advice, news and entertainment in a way that harms consumers."
Oz admitted that his "cheerleading" of products that are often used as "crutches" has caused trouble for himself and the Federal Trade Commission, but he said he stands by his research.
Oz said. "In the intent to engage viewers, I use flowery language. I used language that was very passionate that ended up being not very helpful but incendiary and it provided fodder for unscrupulous advertisers."
[I am not sure who are unscrupulous.] Just a thought.
Exercise...
Iran's navy has conducted a joint exercise with a Chinese fleet near the strategic Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. The official IRNA news agency said Sunday's drill included an Iranian warship as well as two Chinese warships, a logistics ship and a Chinese helicopter that arrived in Iran's port of Bandar Abbas last week.
It said the scheduled exercise came before the departure of the Chinese fleet for Muscat, Oman.
U.S. and Iranian warships have had a number of tense encounters in the Persian Gulf in recent years. Nearly a third of all oil traded by sea passes through the Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan and China have showcased their all-weather friendship with the launch of one of the biggest joint military exercises in decades. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the war games that began on April 2016 near Jhelum followed speculation over whether China will step in to fill the economic, military and diplomatic void if Pakistan’s relationship with the US further deteriorated.
We should stop blaming Russia for everything then. Just a thought

Theodore Anthony "Ted" Nugent is an American musician and political activist. Nugent initially gained fame as the lead guitarist of the Amboy Dukes, a band formed in 1963 that played psychedelic rock and hard rock.
He once said Obama should "suck on my machine gun." Now he wants to tone down the "hateful rhetoric."
Following the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and other Republicans at a congressional baseball practice last week, Nugent announced that it was time to stop using incendiary rhetoric to demonize political opponents.
