Peace..

Federal agents wearing tactical gear and wielding assault rifles busted into an apartment in Jackson Heights Thursday morning as a helicopter hovered overhead, according to eyewitnesses and video obtained by THE CITY.

The agents, including Homeland Security Investigations officers along with others wearing jackets emblazoned only with “POLICE,” were there with a “search and seizure warrant” authorizing them to take any electronic device and that made no mention of any particular resident. The warrant had been signed by Eastern District Magistrate Judge Robert M. Levy.

The agents left with a small box, along with a man and a woman who both appeared to be in their 40s or 50s and spoke Spanish, according to eyewitnesses and video reviewed by THE CITY.

Comment:

The Media and the Democratic politician making a big case against any federal action in  New York against illegal activities by some.

We pay taxes for the federal government to get their services in New York. However, protecting illegal activities, by legals or illegals is not helping the illegal or the legitimate.

We pay taxes for peaceful existence and safety of living. Going to work, for an honest day work. Exempt some and protecting some for wrongdoing, doesn't help anyone, not even the Democratic party itself.    Just a thought.

Products..

The U.S. Department of Justice announced on Tuesday that three warehouses in the Kansas City metro had thousands of illegal products containing 7-hydroxymitragine (7-OH) seized as part of a government operation.
According to a news release, the Justice Department, alongside the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), seized roughly 73,000 “units” of illegal products containing 7-OH at several warehouses run by two companies in the Kansas City area.
Products containing concentrated 7-OH are considered illegal under federal law because the FDA has determined there is inadequate information to assure they do not present a significant risk of injury or illness
The government alleged that the two local firms had previously received warnings that the distribution of 7-OH products was illegal under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; however, the firms continued to sell the products.

Yolk..

Arecent research suggests that consuming two or more eggs per week may be associated with a reduced risk of developing Alzheimer's dementia. The potential protective effect is primarily linked to the nutrient choline, which is abundant in egg yolks.
One large-scale study involving over 1,000 older adults found that those who ate more than one egg per week had a 47% lower risk of developing Alzheimer's dementia compared to those who rarely ate eggs.
  •  Post-mortem brain autopsies of some participants showed that those with higher egg consumption had less accumulation of the toxic proteins (amyloid plaques) associated with Alzheimer's disease.
  •  About 39% of the protective effect of eggs on Alzheimer's risk was attributed to dietary choline intake. Choline is an essential nutrient for memory, mood, and brain cell communication.
  •  Eggs also provide other beneficial nutrients for brain health, including omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin B12, and selenium.
  •  These findings show an association, not a direct cause-and-effect relationship.
  • Eggs are part of an overall healthy diet. Their benefits are likely amplified when combined with other nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
  •  For most healthy adults, an egg a day is considered safe as part of a balanced diet. However, individuals with high cholesterol or specific health conditions should consult with their healthcare provider or a registered dietitian to determine the appropriate amount for their needs.

Stones..

Larry Summers has been handed a lifetime ban from the American Economic Association.

The AEA did not specifically cite convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but referenced Summers' "conduct, as reflected in publicly reported communications," as inconsistent with the prestigious association's integrity standards. The move from the association came weeks after the emails became public.

Summers, a former Harvard president and US Treasury Secretary under Bill Clinton, has faced sharp scrutiny in recent weeks after a trove of recently released emails detailed his years of correspondence with Epstein that continued until July 5, 2019 — the day before the disgraced financier was arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges.

Business Insider reported that Summers would be stepping back from public life after the emails revealed he had sought Epstein's advice on how to pursue a romantic relationship with a woman he referred to as his mentee.

Summers stepped down from his teaching position at Harvard University on November 21.

The ban from the AEA prohibits Summers from attending, speaking at, or otherwise participating in events or activities sponsored by the nonprofit academic association, which has over 17,000 members.

Freeze Over..

Try..

Over..

Vegetarian .

A well-planned vegetarian diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, offers numerous health benefits and environmental advantages. These benefits stem from lower consumption of saturated fat and cholesterol and higher intake of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants.

Vegetarians generally have lower total and LDL ("bad") cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure, which significantly reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.

A diet high in fruits and vegetables may lower the risk of certain cancers, particularly colorectal cancer. The antioxidants in plants help protect cells from damage.

People on vegetarian diets tend to have a lower body mass index (BMI) and lower body weight. The high fiber content in plant foods increases satiety, helping control calorie intake.

The high fiber in a vegetarian diet promotes healthy bowel function and can reduce the risk of constipation and diverticular disease.

The vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals in plants provide the body with essential nutrients to fight off infections and support overall immune function.

Many people report feeling more energized on a plant-based diet due to the anti-inflammatory properties of plant foods and a steadier intake of nutrients.

Blocked..

Several protesters were arrested in New York City after they blocked streets and exits in an apparent attempt to prevent federal agents from carrying out an immigration raid, according to police and video footage from the scene.
The incident unfolded just before noon on Saturday in the area of Centre Street and Howard Street in lower Manhattan, the New York City Police Department said.
Officers responded to a call for a disorderly group and found multiple people “blocking the street and exits at different locations.”
