Cohesion..

The social democrat Mette Frederiksen won Denmark’s 2019 elections on a platform of radical reforms to reach climate targets, lowering the pension age for manual workers – and stricter migration policies.

Denmark has some of the strictest asylum legislation in Europe. The country grants only temporary asylum to refugees, regardless of their need for protection. It has tightened laws on family reunion, and introduced policies focused on prioritizing deportation, rather than integration.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has justified such policies by pitting the challenges of immigration against the affordability of public services and the welfare state.

In her own words, migration “is challenging Europe, affecting people’s lives, and the cohesion of our societies”.

Now, Frederiksen’s approach has become a model for other left-wing governments in Europe, including the UK, struggling to address voter concerns about immigration.

Dating..

I'm 58, divorced, and dating again, but women just seem to care about the size of my bank account. How should I approach dating differently now?
The good news is that you have several tools at your disposal for finding a partner — dating apps (yes, we know they can be frustrating), community groups and clubs, and even your own social network.
But what if you’ve recently started dating and the topic of money keeps coming up?
If you’re a person of means, you may be concerned that the people you’re dating are simply looking for someone to fund their lifestyle.
If you’re not particularly wealthy, you may worry that it could be a barrier.
Well, It a hit or miss. You may meet the right person, but you have to be patient.
Just a thought.

Dems..

The Democrats started the US Government shut down and blamed others on it. Then 40 days later it started hurting the same people who they want to assist legal and illegal.

So they choose few Democrats to side with the Republicans to reopen the Government.

Could the Dems get the same outcome achieved with just two days?  Just a thought.

Assylum..

ASYLUM seekers who illegally arrive in Britain will be forced to wait 20 years before they can apply for permanent residence, in a bid to end “golden ticket” asylum, the Home Secretary has vowed.

Shabana Mahmood warned illegal migration is “tearing our country apart” amid plans for the biggest overhaul since World War 2, which has divided opinion within her own party.

Ms. Mahmood is also set to announce that refugee status will become temporary, and those whose countries become safe will be immediately made to go home

She argued many of those given limited asylum have ended up staying in Britain their whole lives – with the plan to review refugee status every 30 months.

The Government is due to announce its new specific refugee settlement route later this week – inspired by the Danish system, which has seen a 40-year low in asylum applications, with 95 percent of applicants rejected.

Move..

Following Zohran Mamdani’s recent electoral victory in New York, supermarket billionaire John Catsimatidis has threatened to cut his workforce and relocate his operations to Florida. This announcement comes amid concerns over the political shift represented by Mamdani’s win, which Catsimatidis argues could negatively impact his business.
The potential move underscores ongoing tensions between business leaders and progressive policies in New York, as Catsimatidis warns of a broader exit strategy for his business empire.
Catsimatidis’s announcement to move operations to Florida is driven by a combination of political and economic factors. As reported by Newsweek, the billionaire has cited Florida’s more favorable business climate, including tax advantages, as a key motivation for the potential relocation.
The move would involve the closure of New York facilities, affecting both employees and the local economy.

Book..

The bombshell claims surrounding ex-Prince Andrew — now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor — aren’t slowing down. After losing his royal titles, new allegations are surfacing about what he was doing overseas while representing the U.K.

Royal historian and biographer Andrew Lownie told NewsNation that Andrew’s behavior as the U.K.’s Trade Envoy was far from official.

One year, (Andrew) hired the top floor of the Landmark Hotel in Hong Kong and spent the weekend watching p--- and had hookers come in,” Lownie claimed.

According to the author, this wasn’t the only time Andrew acted this way abroad. Lownie also claimed the ex-prince had “40 prostitutes” brought to his room in Thailand over four days back in 2001, when he was 41 years old.
