Collapsing..

NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella stated, “The Democrat Party is collapsing under the weight of its own failures.”
Marinella added, “They’re hemorrhaging support, losing trust, and watching key parts of its coalition walk away at record speed. This is a crisis, and they’re doing themselves no favors.”
In congressional favorability ratings, Republicans have secured a net score of negative 10 percent. Democrats, however, stand at negative 24 percent.
Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin noted that the Democrat Party’s effort to improve connection with voters is “complicated, for sure.” He added, “We have a lot to learn still.

The solution seems simple.  South Border, Immigration, Inflation, Law and order, the US Debt, gas prices.  Just a thought.

Chorus..

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., joined the chorus of Democrats criticizing Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem after Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., was stopped by Secret Service agents after interrupting a DHS press conference in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Senator Padilla entered a high-security federal facility under false pretenses and crashed an invite-only press conference as law enforcement are working around the clock to calm violent riots," McLaughlin continued. "There’s no excuse for busting into a press conference and interrupting it. Had Senator Padilla asked for a meeting, Secretary Noem would have happily obliged, which she graciously did for 15 minutes after the press conference."

Are the Democrats avoiding anything related to efficiency, Social Security fraud, Medicaid fraud, illegal criminals in the country?  Just a thought.

Cowards

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a fiery move within New York's Democratic Party, calling the support of Andrew Cuomo in the 2025 New York City mayoral race by establishment figures an act of "cowardice.

Her comments, made days after she endorsed progressive candidate Zohran Mamdani, are sending shockwaves through local politics just weeks ahead of the June 24 primary.

The congresswoman's remarks highlight the growing divide between the Democratic establishment and the party's insurgent progressive wing.

With early voting now underway and a ranked-choice system in place, AOC's intervention could shift the balance in one of the most consequential city elections in years.

Settled..

CNN Chief National Security Correspondent Alex Marquardt left the network on Monday—months after the network settled a defamation suit stemming from his reporting.
CNN settled with defense contractor Zachary Young in January after a Florida jury ruled the network had defamed him in a November 2021 report that alleged he gouged prices for those who sought to flee Afghanistan as the United States withdrew from the country. The jury awarded him $5 million in damages; the network later settled to avoid further punitive damages.
Alex Marquardt produced the story and testified in the network’s defense. Marquardt confirmed on X on Monday that he would leave the network after eight years, though he made no mention of the case.
“Tough to say goodbye but it’s been an honor to work among the very best in the business,” Marquardt wrote. “Profound thank you to my comrades on the National Security team & the phenomenal teammates I’ve worked with in the US and abroad.”

Bionic..

The FBI collared an alleged Los Angeles riot leader who helped distribute dozens of face shields to anti-ICE rioters on the streets of Los Angeles.

The FBI nabbed Alejandro Theodoro Orellan

He faces a charge of conspiracy to commit civil disorders, US Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said on X.

Unsettling footage taken Tuesday showed dozens of protesters running toward a truck to grab the “Bionic Shield” face masks, footage shot by Fox11 showed.

Rioters have been taking to the streets since last weekend and have been seen hurling rocks and cement at federal agents, as well as setting cars on fire and blocking highways.

Anti-Aging..

Not only can the drug metformin help to effectively manage type 2 diabetes, it may also give older women a better chance of living to the grand old age of 90, according to new research – thanks, it seems, to a variety of anti-aging effects.
We found that metformin initiation increased exceptional longevity compared with sulfonylurea initiation among women with type 2 diabetes."
Metformin has been around for decades, and is considered a gerotherapeutic: relates to therapeutic interventions aimed at targeting the biological processes of aging in order to prevent or treat age-related diseases and extend health span.
For example, it's been shown to limit DNA damage and promote gene activity associated with long life.
