Repeat..

Unifier..

Until..

Excuse..

Conviction..

President Joe Biden this week granted clemency to the former Pennsylvania judge, Michael Conahan, as part of a mass commutation covering nearly 1,500 people who had been released on home confinement during the Covid pandemic.

Conahan was convicted in 2011 of funneling juveniles to for-profit detention centers in exchange for more than $2 million in kickbacks. He was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges.

At the time, the U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania called the scandal “the worst in Pennsylvania’s history,” forcing the state to vacate thousands of juvenile convictions.

Calf Muscle..

The calf muscle is often referred to as the "second heart" because it plays a crucial role in pumping blood back up to the heart by contracting and squeezing the veins in the lower leg, essentially assisting the heart in circulation throughout the bodymaking it important to keep your calf muscles strong and healthy.
  • When the calf muscles contract, they compress the veins in the legs, pushing blood back towards the heart.
  • Sitting for long periods can hinder the calf muscle pump, which is why regular movement and exercise are important to maintain good circulation.
  • Weak calf muscles can contribute to issues like swollen legs, varicose veins, and poor blood circulation. Just a thought.

Map..

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the world to be “united and stronger than ever” against Vladimir Putin as the UK said Russia is making “further gains” in Ukraine.

According to the latest intelligence update from the Ministry of Defense, Moscow’s troops are advancing on the “key logistical hub” of Pokrovsk in Donetsk after gaining control of the nearby village of Shevchenko.

In a post on X, the MoD said: “Russia will likely continue to make gains towards Pokrovsk whilst continuing to advance westwards to the south of the town.”

Zelensky wants to continue the war... Wounder why?

Immunity..

Israel's military chief of staff, Herzi Halevi, on Monday 25 November, flew to Britain to meet military chiefs from a number of countries - amid speculation that the International Criminal Court (ICC) could issue an arrest warrant for him over alleged war crimes in Gaza.

The Labour government confirmed  Halevi was given special mission immunity, a status that provides foreign officials with protection from criminal proceedings and arrest.
Halevi oversaw a drone attack in central Gaza in April that killed seven aid workers of the World Central Kitchen, including three British nationals.
