Under-Water..

President Joe Biden’s approval rating sank to a new low in a Marquette University Law School poll released on Wednesday.

According to the survey of 1,063 adults across the country, just 34% of the country approves of the way Biden “is handling his job as president,” while 66% disapprove, putting him underwater by a shell-shocking 32 points.
That’s the worst net approval rating Biden has posted in the poll since taking office. It appears that the president’s decision to go back on his word and pardon his son, Hunter Biden , for any crimes he may have committed over a more than decade-long period, may have contributed to his plummeting popularity. Just 29% of respondents said they approved of the pardon, while 71% disapproved.

Porche..

Mayor Eric Adams' recently departed chief advisor Ingrid Lewis-Martin will surrender to face charges in Lower Manhattan Thursday morning, along with her son, Glenn Martin II, and two other men.

Specifically, they are the men who loaned Lewis-Martin's son $100,000 last year to buy a Porsche after she helped them resolve a buildings department issue with a construction project in one of their hotels.

The loan was memorialized in a promissory note. It is unclear if the loan has been paid back.

Torn..

Israel rejected Turkish accusations on Tuesday following Ankara’s condemnation of Israeli military actions in Syria, as Turkey escalates its own operations in the war-torn country.
The rising tensions have deepened the rift between the two nations and sparked concerns over regional stability and the fate of U.S.-backed Kurdish forces fighting ISIS.
On Monday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry criticized Israel for expanding settlements in the Golan Heights, calling it part of Israel’s "expansion of borders through occupation."
Turkey urged Israel to comply with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which established a cease-fire between Israel and Syria.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the agreement void, arguing it no longer applied after forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad abandoned their positions on the Syrian side during the country’s civil war. Netanyahu has described the Golan Heights as a vital security buffer and integral to Israel’s defense strategy against Iran and Hezbollah, which operate in Syria.
The Great powers weaken the Syrian Government and economy for fourteen years, and now it is left to be run over by all. Who is benefitting out of its destruction?

Veganism..

Veganism is a lifestyle choice and form of activism that involves abstaining from the use of animal products

Vegans may avoid animal-derived food, clothing, and makeup. Veganism is motivated by a variety of reasons, including personal health, animal rights, environmentalism, and ethics.

A vegan diet is based on plants and foods made from plants. Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs.

Whether you’re a meat eater or vegan, getting some of your protein from plant-based protein sources is important. Replacing animal-based protein even just two meals per week for plant-based ones such as this three-bean chili will help improve your health.

Another point about protein? It’s digested more slowly than carbohydrates and is a great tool to keeping you satisfied after a meal.

Ordained..

Ingrid Lewis-Martin, a formidable former City Hall official and top consigliere of Mayor Eric Adams, is expected to be indicted in Manhattan as soon as Monday, The Post has learned.

Multiple sources close to Lewis-Martin said Sunday that she and her legal team were bracing for the criminal charges to emerge this week from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, leading to her sudden departure from the administration over the weekend.

The Manhattan prosecutors and city investigators have been probing the top aide’s alleged role in leasing commercial properties to her close friends.

For years, Lewis-Martin has served as Adams’ closest ally and — as she once told the New York Times — the mayor’s “sister ordained by God.

Clemency..

President Biden is commuting the sentences of close to 1,500 individuals who were placed on home confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic and who have successfully reintegrated into their families and communities. He is also pardoning 39 individuals who were convicted of non-violent crimes. These actions represent the largest single-day grant of clemency in modern history.

ABC..

ABC will pay $15 million as part of a legal settlement with President-elect Donald Trump, closing out a dispute that centered on an interview in which Trump alleged anchor George Stephanopoulos defamed him.
Just a thought.

Conviction..

President Joe Biden this week granted clemency to the former Pennsylvania judge, Michael Conahan, as part of a mass commutation covering nearly 1,500 people who had been released on home confinement during the Covid pandemic.

Conahan was convicted in 2011 of funneling juveniles to for-profit detention centers in exchange for more than $2 million in kickbacks. He was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges.

At the time, the U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania called the scandal “the worst in Pennsylvania’s history,” forcing the state to vacate thousands of juvenile convictions.

Calf Muscle..

The calf muscle is often referred to as the "second heart" because it plays a crucial role in pumping blood back up to the heart by contracting and squeezing the veins in the lower leg, essentially assisting the heart in circulation throughout the bodymaking it important to keep your calf muscles strong and healthy.
  • When the calf muscles contract, they compress the veins in the legs, pushing blood back towards the heart.
  • Sitting for long periods can hinder the calf muscle pump, which is why regular movement and exercise are important to maintain good circulation.
  • Weak calf muscles can contribute to issues like swollen legs, varicose veins, and poor blood circulation. Just a thought.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the world to be “united and stronger than ever” against Vladimir Putin as the UK said Russia is making “further gains” in Ukraine.

According to the latest intelligence update from the Ministry of Defense, Moscow’s troops are advancing on the “key logistical hub” of Pokrovsk in Donetsk after gaining control of the nearby village of Shevchenko.

In a post on X, the MoD said: “Russia will likely continue to make gains towards Pokrovsk whilst continuing to advance westwards to the south of the town.”

Zelensky wants to continue the war... Wounder why?

Child..

Syria has been designated a State Sponsor of Terrorism since December 1979. Additional sanctions and restrictions were added in May 2004 with the issuance of Executive Order 13338, which implemented the Syria Accountability and Lebanese Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2003 (SAA) and imposed additional measures pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
Since the uprisings began in March 2011, the U.S. government has intensely pursued calibrated sanctions to deprive the regime of the resources it needs to continue violence against civilians and to pressure the Syrian regime to allow for a democratic transition as the Syrian people demand.
“Nearly five million children were born inside Syria over the past 10 years, with an additional one million children being born outside as refugees in Syria’s neighboring country, and these are millions of children who know nothing but death and displacement and destruction,” said the senior UNICEF official.
