CDC...

Editorial Cartoon U.S. CDC Covid guidelines

The CDC made some changes to their recommendations. This may not be comfortable for some governors, like Cuomo, who relied on the CDC to shut down, reopen, reshut-down, etc.

We want things fixed, we want racism to disappear, but that is the responsibility of someone else.

On Crime...

Political Poll Cartoons and Comics - funny pictures from CartoonStock

President Trump  does considerably better on crime by an 8-point margin in a recent poll. Voters say Biden would be worse on "safety from crime."

The peaceful protests, Riot, and destruction of properties of early summer have faded from the news and the importance of race relations has dropped down on the list of Americans' most important problems.

The percentage of Americans who see the protests as "mostly legitimate" dipped from 62% in June to 53% in August. Meanwhile, the percentage who believe them mostly people acting unlawfully rose from 28% to 38%.

The Marquette University Law School poll showed the net favorability rating  of Black Lives Matter declined from +33 points among likely voters in June to +10 points in August.

The net approval rating (approval - disapproval) for the protests fell from +27 points to -1 point during the same time period.

This is showing the people's opinion and  favor towards the Current President as has always been. In addition, it shows how the pollsters conclusions rely on the "May be, Likely, Possibly, etc" and come up with numbers that suit their goals.....

 Just a thought.

Non Violance...

Great Speeches and Interviews: A Time to Break Silence By Rev. Martin Luther King

On 4 April 1967 Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his seminal speech at Riverside Church condemning the Vietnam War

King's address emphasized his responsibility to the American people and explained that conversations with young black men in the ghettos reinforced his own commitment to nonviolence.

The Democrats politicians should learn from this speech rather than defund the police, demoralize the police and open the door widely to chaos and lawlessness.

Profit drop leads Exxon Mobil to scrutinize employee travel

For decades, ExxonMobil was an unstoppable machine. It made gobs of money, spent that cash wisely and rewarded shareholders lavishly. As recently as 2013, Exxon (XOM) was the the most valuable company on the planet. Its market value topped out at $446 billion in mid-2014, the last time crude prices traded above $100 a barrel. But Exxon is now a shell of its former self.

Exxon is now losing money for the first time in decades. Its long track record of raising the dividend is in doubt. Exxon is the poster child for the fossil fuels industry at a time of deep concern about the climate change. And the company's market value has crumbled by a staggering $267 billion from the peak.

Oil companies have been crushed by the crash in prices, which briefly went negative for the first time ever, and collapse in demand.
