Many of the 24 candidates for the 2020 elections know that they have no hope of winning anything. They just try to make some sort of name for themselves thinking that down the road, up the hill and around the corner, something may happen and they get somewhere.
Here is the mayor of New York who failed as a politicians and put his big ego in the way of his relationship with the Governor. Then after four years of not cooperating, all of a sudden they seem very friendly as they sign the Amazon deal. Offering Amazon three Billion Dollar and a piece of land in the heart of Queens/Manhattan.
The second time around they got together for congestion pricing, taxing the little people twice.
