Hype...

Image result for reporting Irma

Some wondered whether it is overly sensational spectacles, where correspondents are struggling to deliver information standing, setting, ducking... in the rain.

The Media starts reporting “Floridians are in a panic”. “Gas shortages are everywhere”. “Food is flying off the shelves”.

Any seasoned Floridian knows there are basic items needed to survive after the storm, while waiting for everything to be made right, roads, power lines, etc..

But the media is more concerned with who and how many watching the news. The sensational, quick talk, focus on certain parts of the reporting cause widespread panic than actually providing helpful information.

No wonder some would say I am not going anywhere during the storm. Seen it before.
