Misleading Statement...

Amazon has had enough of Bernie Sanders. The online retailer accused the Vermont senator of spreading "misleading statements" about the pay it offers workers, while urging Sanders to visit one of the company's fulfillment centers.

"We have been in regular contact with his office and have offered several opportunities for Senator Sanders and his team to tour one of our fulfillment centers (FCs)," Amazon said in a blog post. "To date he has still not seen an FC for himself."

Sanders, who has repeatedly highlighted the disparity in income between Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, the richest person in the world, and his workers, plans to introduce legislation that would make large employers like Amazon foot the bill for federal aid received by their workers, including food stamps and Medicaid.

Not going to work.  Just a thought.

The high cost of medical care is giving some Americans sticker shock. Annual health care spending in the U.S. is estimated to be $3.5 trillion. Hospital costs make up almost a third of that total.

Yet there are often many inconsistencies when it comes to hospital billing. Kaiser Health News shines light on these inconsistencies in its "Bill of the Month" series.

Calver has health insurance through a teaching job, which covered about $55,000 of the bill. But a month after his treatment, Calver received a bill for nearly $109,000.

The hospital where he was treated, St. David's Medical Center, issued the following statement to CBS News and Kaiser Health News: "Our research indicates that Mr. Calver will qualify for our financial assistance discount, leaving him with a balance of less than $800."

 From $109,000 debt into $800, it is out of control.

Intimacy...

California attorney Keith M. Davidson drafted a confidential contract in 2012 for a client trying to get cash for a secretly recorded video of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan having sex with a friend's wife.

The ensuing deal resulted in an extortion allegation, an FBI sting and Davidson subsequently claiming he would invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination if called to testify about the matter. Davidson was questioned by the FBI.

Later was the Daniels case  to keep her quiet regarding her affair with Trump.  

Davidson also wrote the contract between Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy and a former Playboy model who claims Broidy impregnated her.

So much money consumed unnecessary as if intimate relations are forbidden.

A surprisingly united vote, almost all members of the Democratic National Convention curtailed the ability of the superdelegates to vote on the first ballot for the party's presidential nominee beginning with the next election. 

The group of about 700 automatic, unpledged party leaders, elected officials and activists previously were able to back whichever candidate for the nomination they chose.

This vote officially barred the superdelegates from voting on the first ballot to choose the party's presidential nominee unless a candidate has secured a majority of the convention using only pledged delegates, whose votes are earned during the primary process.
