Warren..
Sen. Elizabeth Warren believes international officials could find that Israel’s assault on Gaza legally constitutes a genocide, she said during an event at a local mosque last week.
If you want to do it as an application of law, I believe that they’ll find that it is genocide, and they have ample evidence to do so,” Warren (D-Mass.) said Friday while taking audience questions during an event at the Islamic Center of Boston in Wayland, Massachusetts.
A video of Warren’s comments posted on X by a GBH News reporter began circulating Monday. Warren’s office confirmed the senator's remarks to POLITICO.
Israel did what it did. How the world see Israel today ? And what the world considers the legality of the action of Israel against the civilian Palestinians?

*Israel agrees that its army should be held to account, and the IDF lost no time in launching an inquiry, with two soldiers already sacked. “ the strike was not carried out with the intention of harming the WCK and workers,”
*German Chancellor Olaf Scholz questioned the "terribly high costs" of Israel's offensive on Palestinian Islamist group Hamas in Gaza on Sunday, saying the world could not simply stand by and watch as Palestinians risk starvation in the enclave.
*Scholz said he had shared his concerns about the high number of civilian casualties and insufficient aid reaching Gaza where aid agencies say famine is looming.
*After more than a month of the Israeli government's unlawful blockade of Gaza, which has included catastrophic cuts to water, fuel, and electricity, as well as very limited deliveries of food, water, and medical supplies, the lack of clean water is resulting in “grave concerns” by public health experts of an imminent. Just a thought.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams voiced support on Tuesday for changes to sanctuary city laws that currently protect migrants in New York.
Calling the policies a "detriment to public safety," Adams spoke during a news conference following similar statements he made on Monday, saying he believes New York City agencies should be free to cooperate more readily with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to deport immigrants who have been accused of committing crimes.
“We should be communicating with ICE, and if ICE makes the determination of deporting, then they should,” Adams, a former New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer, said at the news conference, according to AP.
