Obstacle..

Senator Schumer, the New York Democrat and highest-ranking Jewish elected official in the U.S.  called Netanyahu a "major obstacle to peace" and said he "lost his way by allowing his political survival to take the precedence over the best interests of Israel."

Schumer, also called on its government to hold a new election, saying many Israelis have lost confidence in their government and it was "the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision making process about the future of Israel.

Mr. Biden has supported Israel's right to defend itself in response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas, but has become more critical of Netanyahu's government amid a humanitarian crisis and increasing civilian death toll in Gaza. He is also facing pressure from some Democrats to stop arming Israel over its conduct during the war against Hamas.

Just a thought.

Famine..

Speaking after talks with Israeli Prime Minister in Jerusalem, Scholz said he had shared his concerns about the high number of civilian casualties and insufficient aid reaching Gaza where aid agencies say famine is looming.
Scholz added that he had spoken with Netanyahu about the need for conditions for the distribution of aid to be "urgently and massively improved". "We cannot stand by and watch Palestinians risk starvation," he said. "That's not us. That is not what we stand for."

Kill/Save..

"Israel is a democracy... Israel is an ally of USA-"
The head of the U.N. Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) said on Sunday Israel had informed the U.N. that it will no longer approve UNRWA food convoys to the north of Gaza. "This is outrageous and makes it intentional to obstruct lifesaving assistance during a man-made famine.

Ukraine recently found a Russian weak spot targeting its oil and gas industry in long-range missile and drone attacks.
The attacks have reduced Russia's oil processing capacity by 7%, Reuters reported, seriously impacting an industry Russia relies on heavily to fund its invasion of Ukraine.
But according to The Financial Times, pushback on the attacks is coming from an unexpected corner: Kyiv's most important ally, the US.
US officials are said to be concerned that the attacks could drive up oil prices and provoke retaliation. They want Ukraine to ease up, per the report.
The audacious attacks, targeting refineries, storage depots, and other sites, badly dented Russia's oil industry.
Oil prices have already increased sharply, bringing wider economic pain. A further increase would diminish President Joe Biden's chances of reelection.
Comment:
Many want Joe Biden to stay in office, and keep the war simmering, the border wide open, the inflation as high as possible and the future is as promising as Biden's remembers it.  Just a thought.
