Germany is reforming its citizenship law, streamlining the procedure to get German nationality. Dual citizenship will also become an option. Germany is set to make dual citizenship easier, as well as naturalization for non-EU citizens.

The new citizenship plans boil down to these changes:

Immigrants legally living in Germany will be allowed to apply for citizenship after five years, rather than the current eight; if they bring special achievements to the table, this may be reduced to just three years.

Children born in Germany of at least one parent who has been living legally in the country for five or more years will automatically get German citizenship.

Immigrants above the age of 67 will be able to do an oral instead of a written German language test Multiple citizenships will be allowed

People living entirely on state support will not be eligible for German citizenship. 

German citizenship will be denied to people who have committed antisemitic, racist, xenophobic or other defamatory offenses that are seen to be "unreconcilable with commitment to the free democratic basic order." Deutsche Welle. Just a thought.

Yemen remains one of the world's largest humanitarian crises. In 2023, a staggering 21.6 million people require some form of humanitarian assistance as 80 percent of the country struggles to put food on the table and access basic services.

During the presidency of Barack Obama, the United States began providing Saudi Arabia with critical support to "sustain" the Saudi Arabian–led intervention in the Yemeni Civil War,^[1] later expanded during the presidency of Donald Trump.^[2] 

This support included logistical and intelligence aid.  Joe Biden vowed to halt U.S. support for the war, though U.S. arms sales to the coalition have continued.

Now the US and Coalition, we are always stick them in, to bomb a poor country's people because they are, terrorists, or just bad people. No alternatives here but Bombing..

Nathan Wade’s ex-wife claims he filed to divorce her just one day after he was hired by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis – his alleged paramour – to be the lead prosecutor in the Georgia election fraud case against former President Donald Trump, according to court documents filed.

Wade then immediately moved to have records related to the breakup sealed by the court handling the proceedings, Joycelyn Wade alleged in a 19-page filing with the Cobb County Superior Court.

Nathan Wade and Willis have been accused by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman of having an “improper” and “clandestine” relationship that Roman argues is grounds for having criminal charges against him dismissed.

Roman’s bombshell filing accused Nathan Wade — a private attorney with Atlanta-based Wade & Campbell — of using some of the nearly $654,000 in legal fees he’s raked in from the Fulton County DA’s Office for his work on the Trump case to take Willis on lavish trips.
Willis is also accused of hiring Wade to help prosecute the Trump case despite him not being properly qualified or experienced in handling criminal matters.

A strong majority of GOP voters would be satisfied with former President Trump as their party’s nominee, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday, underlining Trump’s backing as he hopes for a strong showing in Monday’s Iowa caucuses.

About 72 percent of poll respondents said they’d be satisfied with Trump, and about two-thirds of the GOP electorate feel that the former president has the best chance of winning back the White House in November. Another two-thirds of respondents also said Trump is the strongest leader of the group.

The high satisfaction among Republicans for Trump comes as just 57 percent of Democrats feel the same about President Biden, the poll found.

The human body requires protein to function; it's essential for repairing and creating new cells (per MedlinePlus). 

A lack of protein can lead to a weakened immune system, muscle loss, and poor hair and skin health, among other things (via Health). The most common food source to get this from is animal products like meat or eggs. But many nuts pack a powerful punch of protein, making them a great option.

Thankfully, the nut with the highest protein content per serving is also the one that is the most available: peanuts. As a note for those with allergies, Harvard Health puts it best: "Peanuts aren't nuts. They are actually legumes ... But like tree nuts, peanuts can be eaten as a filling snack or as a protein-boosting ingredient" (per Harvard Health Publishing).

A one-ounce serving of peanuts contains seven grams of protein. That is nearly equivalent to the amount in one extra large egg. The next top most protein-rich nuts are almonds (six grams), pistachios (5.7 grams), cashews (4.8 grams), and hazelnuts (4.3 grams). However, there is a literal added value to peanuts.

On Jan. 11, 2024, U.S. President Joe Biden announced that he had ordered airstrikes against areas in Yemen controlled by the Houthi movement, one of the sides in the Yemeni Civil War. The airstrikes immediately led to bipartisan backlash from members of Congress claiming that Biden had overstepped his bounds and that the airstrikes were unconstitutional without congressional aproval.

Did the president really follow up the bombing around the Middle East, from Syria, Iraq, Libya, Lebanan, and now Yemen?  

Did he really authorize bombing the poorest country in the world Yemen? 

A with this authorization, what was the outcome?   Just a thought.
