Trap..

 

If you’re driving at night and you forgot to turn your headlights on, a friendly flash of the headlights is how another driver can tell you “turn your lights on, dummy.”

If your lights are already on, it’s possible they’re letting you know that you left your high beams on. Remember, your “high beams” or “brights” are for illuminating the empty road in front of you, and you should switch back to regular headlights when other drivers approach. 

Most states require that you turn off your brights if you are within 500 feet of an approaching car or 200-300 feet of a car you are following.

If your headlights are operating properly, or if you’re driving in the daytime, that approaching car is probably trying to warn you about something ahead. 

Often that’s a speed trap: a police car waiting by the side of the road to pull over speeding drivers. With the advance warning, you can slow down and avoid getting caught.

Inflated..

 

Narcissists are preoccupied with fantasies about power, brilliance, beauty, ideal love, or unlimited success. These fantasies are more than a teenage daydream and can indicate mental health issues. 

This inflated self-aggrandizing tendency is actually a coping mechanism the person with narcissism uses to deal with inner feelings of low self-esteem.

People with various types of narcissism don’t mind using people for what they can get and feel no remorse, aka they are unempathic. They are known to borrow money or other valuable things with promises to repay, but never follow through. This poor behavior often results in the person with narcissistic personality disorder having troubled relationships.

 People with all types of narcissism often look down on others with an inflated sense of self and view themselves as superior.

Narcissists only feel extreme self-focus and relish in the discomfort of others and use those situations to manipulate vulnerable people.

 A person with narcissism often has delusions that he or she possesses some great quality that others cannot obtain or even begin to understand. They may fantasize about a famous person being secretly in love with them. When someone calls the narcissist’s attention to the fact that these feelings are a fantasy only, they become very offended and play the victim.

You probably know some people who always talk about themselves, make every issue about themselves, and are generally all about "Me, me, me!" People like that are self-centered: as the word suggests, they are overly centered on themselves. 

Self-centered people tend to ignore the needs of others and only do what's best for them. You can also call them egocentric, egoistic, and egoistical. In the seventeenth century, however, self-centered meant "fixed or stationary."

People who are living with this condition may be uncomfortable when they are not the center of attention. They might also display rapidly changing, exaggerated emotions or might draw attention to themselves through their appearance. But people aren’t cold by nature and they can still be quite empathetic. 

Drill, drill..

 

The Biden administration has advanced a $8bn drilling project on Alaska’s north slope. The ConocoPhillips Willow project, which would be one of the largest oil and gas developments on federal territory.

After the project was first approved by the Trump administration, a federal judge reversed the decision, ruling that the environmental review was flawed.

This latest review released by the Bureau of Land Management suggests that a scaled-down Willow project would minimize the impact on vulnerable species including polar bears, yellow-billed loons and caribou,

Biden had promised during his election campaign to end federal oil and gas drilling. But as oil prices rise, food prices, and Inflation took a hold on the economy, the president reverse most of his promises.

President Biden is going by trial and error. Whatever he said to become the president, didnt work. It brought higher prices of oil, gas, food and many other problems like south border migrants.  Just a "reversible" thought.

Eccentric..

The popular usage, eccentricity refers to unusual or odd behavior on the part of an individual. This behavior would typically be perceived as unusual or unnecessary, without being demonstrably maladaptive. 

Eccentricity is contrasted with "normal" behavior, by which individuals in society solve given problems and pursue certain priorities in everyday life. People who consistently display benignly eccentric behavior are labelled as "eccentrics.

Some famous people may be eccentric whose personal behavior strikes others as odd. Albert Einstein picked up cigarette butts off the street to get tobacco for his pipe; Howard Hughes spent entire days on a chair in the middle of the supposedly germ-free zone of his Beverly Hills Hotel suite.

The composer Robert Schumann believed that his musical compositions were dictated to him by Beethoven and other deceased luminaries from their tombs; and Charles Dickens is said to have fended off imaginary urchins with his umbrella as he walked the streets of London.

It remains unclear how the documents arrived at Biden's home, but as the president noted in a speech, he typically frequented Amtrak, taking the train from Washington, D.C. to his home in Delaware almost daily. 

There is speculation that Joe Biden may have carried the classified documents during such a trip and while he had a security detail during his time as vice president.

Biden's Secret Service protection as the vice president continued for only six months after he left office, and was only reinstated when he became the Democratic frontrunner during the 2020 presidential campaign. It is unclear if Biden – or any documents he may have carried – were protected by any security personnel from mid-2017 until 2020. 

In all, federal authorities have received between 25 and 30 documents marked classified from the office space and Biden's Wilmington home.

Members of the Senate Intelligence Committee – including those of Biden's own party – have expressed frustration at the lack of transparency from the White House regarding the documents.

Since memory lapsed for years, did anything was accidentally left in the train?

Apparently, the National Archives and Records Administration missed classified documents for many years with Bidens and others. Time to look for them again. Or may be just declassify most.

The UK isn’t preventing anyone under the age of 50 from getting the shot if it’s medically necessary, stressed Shaun Whelan, a spokesperson for the UK Health Security Agency, which oversees public health and infectious disease response. 

Nursing and care home staff, social workers, homecare givers and other frontline workers will also still be eligible for a COVID vaccine, as will anyone who lives with someone who is immunosuppressed, the agency said. 

And the policy change isn’t a reflection of concerns about the safety of COVID vaccines, as some social media users claim. It’s about using national healthcare resources effectively, as demand for vaccinations among those under the age of 50 is dropping off significantly.
