Sinking..

Shaving..

Walking at a brisk pace could shave years off your biological age, new research suggests.

Researchers from the University of Leicester and Leicester Biomedical Research Centre looked at genetic data from 405,981 middle-aged UK residents, averaging in their mid 50s.  They compared the typical self-reported walking pace of participants with signs of biological aging by measuring a key marker of cellular health called telomeres

Telomeres are the tail ends of chromosomes, or strands of our DNA, and provide stability as cells divide over time. As we age, telomeres become shorter, like a candle burning down — shorter telomeres are linked to age-related illnesses such as cancer.

A faster walking pace was associated with fewer markers of aging in a large group of older adults with data suggesting that faster walking may reduce markers of aging by as much as 16 years by midlife, according to a study published April 20 in the journal Communications Biology

The Gap..

France's Emmanuel Macron looks set to comfortably beat his far-right rival Marine Le Pen in Sunday's election, securing a second term as president on his pro-business and pro-EU agenda.

Centrist Macron looks set to gain around 58% with Marine Le Pen of the nationalist and far-right National Rally party on 42%.

Immediately after the exit polls, Le Pen spoke to her supporters in Paris and accepted defeat. She said her result was a "victory" for her political movement and pointed to parliamentary elections which take place in June.

Despite the predicted victory for Macron, the margin represents a smaller gap between the two candidates.

Palm..

The world's top palm-oil producer announced that it will ban exports of the commodity starting Thursday, sending the prices of edible oils soaring.

Indonesia accounts for about half of the world's supply of palm oil, the world's most widely used vegetable oil. Palm oil is used for cooking and for the production of thousands of consumer products including biscuits, detergents, and lipsticks.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo said the move was designed to bring down domestic palm-oil prices and ensure domestic food availability in the wake of global food inflation.

"The move comes as Indonesia has seen recent protests over the high prices of cooking oil, with retail prices gaining more than 40% so far this year, according to Reuters.

The ban is expected to be in place until further notice. Indonesian palm-oil exports are worth about $30 billion in 2021, according to data provider Statista.

Coal..

On April 8, 2022, the European Union announced that it would ban all coal imports from Russia starting in August this year. While the total value of these imports is relatively small, this will have large implications for both European and global coal balances.

Russian coal is generally of high quality and the coal that would be freed up and shipped to Europe is of low quality (low CV), which is a problem for European power plants. What makes matters more complicated is that Japan is working on replacing their Russian coal imports too. The likely effect is a tightening of high-quality coal balances worldwide.

A ban on imports of Russian gas is currently viewed as the most difficult to deal with for European economies. Over the past 5 years, Russian gas imports accounted for about 38% of European gas consumption.

If you look closely you see a hidden risqué image

If you look at the negative space between the tree trunks and branches, you may see a naked women.

According to Shupliak art, the female figure is believed to represent a mermaid called called Berehynia from the ancient Slavic religion.

Many followers believed that she was the spirit who protected rivers, reservoirs and lakes.

The surrealistic oil painting was crafted in 1991 and is believed to depict a character from Eastern Slavic mythology – but what does is mean?

Deceit..

The Democratic party has great interest in continuing the Ukraine war even if the Ukraine is destroyed.

The President Himself Biden said " President Biden on Tuesday said he is doing "everything" within his power to "bring down the price" of gas across the nation, saying family budgets and Americans' abilities to "fill up" their gas tanks should not "hinge on whether a dictator" like Russian President Vladimir Putin "declares war" or "commits genocide."

Easy to say Putin caused higher prices, inflation, and food shortage and not our own Democratic Party with shutting down Keystone pipe line ..etc.

The Federal Election Commission has fined Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign $8,000 and the Democratic National Committee $105,000 for obscuring their funding of the "Steele dossier," a 2016 opposition research report that sought to highlight alleged links between Donald Trump and Russia.

The campaign mislabeled Steele's work as "legal services" and "legal and compliance consulting" in campaign filings, the FEC concluded.

So it was important to create the conflict and have it as long as the Democrats are able to hold power in November 2022.

It is deliberate deceit of the American people. Just a "Deceitful" thought.

Fire..

Since January 2021, the United States has invested more than $4 billion in security assistance to demonstrate our enduring and steadfast commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This includes more than $3.4 billion since Russia’s launched its premeditated, unprovoked, and brutal war against Ukraine on February 24.  Since 2014, the United States has provided more than $6.1 billion in security assistance for training and equipment to help Ukraine preserve its territorial integrity, secure its borders, and improve interoperability with NATO.

One can understand the aide provided to the Ukraine is to keep the war going in the Ukraine.

Keep refugees leaving the country, keep the destruction of a country to continue and promoting Food shortage in poor countries, Higher prices and inflation allover, and USA is just not doing anything productive to help end the conflict.

Integrity of all countries and security of all countries must be respected but we didn't.

The support for Ukraine should be focused towards resolving the issue with the Russians not going around talk nonsense. Let us go to work towards PEACE instead of pouring gas to the fire.

Just a "Peaceful" thought.

Midterm..

The latest Gallup survey released Friday finds Fifty-six percent of those surveyed in the latest poll disapprove of Biden’s job performance as president. That’s a near reversal from his approval numbers when he entered office, when 57 percent of adults surveyed said they approved of the way he was handling his job.

Gallup noted that Biden’s average approval rating for this point in his term is lower than all other predecessors going back to the 1950s.

President Biden caused this dissatisfaction of the public, it is a result of his "Day One in the office" executive actions which caused higher prices of oil, goods, heating homes, Inflation, borders problems and now his support for the complete destruction of the Ukraine as he desire to prolong the war.  Just a thought.
