Par-Don..

Joe Biden issued a full and unconditional pardon to his Hunter Biden on Sunday, a sweeping forgiveness for any crimes he may have committed or participated in between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 1, 2024.

The pardon specifically applies to Hunter Biden's federal gun charge and tax evasion cases. Hunter was convicted of three felony charges related to buying a gun in 2018 while battling drug addiction and lying about it on his application. He also pleaded guilty to nine tax evasion charges in September. Just a thought.

Mediocrity..

Elon Musk again fired insults at the Pentagon’s F-35 program as he prepares to lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency and advise the White House on how to slash federal spending.

The billionaire backer of Donald Trump’s election campaign slammed the “idiots” who continue to build manned fighter jets like the F-35 in a Sunday post on X, adding a trash can emoji.

In a separate post on Monday Musk, who is CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX, doubled down.

And manned fighter jets are obsolete in the age of drones anyway,” Musk added. “Will just get pilots killed.”

Just a thought.

Policy..

Policy

National security advisor Jake Sullivan on Sunday said President Joe Biden was doing what he could to "strengthen" Ukraine's position as the commander-in-chief prepares to leave office in just under two months.

Sullivan made the remarks on ABC's "This Week," telling chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl that Biden aims to continue advancing his foreign policy objectives — which includes cease-fire discussions between Israel and Hamas — even as President-elect Donald Trump is set to be sworn back into office on January 20.

 Comment:

Does President Biden want the war between The Ukraine and Russia to continue or he is looking for peace? Providing more weapons and clustered bombs that Human right organizations and some of our allied objected to it, is that to promote peace?

Sanders..

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Sunday that he agreed with Elon Musk about reining in some government spending, particularly regarding Defense Department spending.
On his X page on Sunday, Sanders offered support for Musk – a billionaire who he has criticized in the past.
“Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It’s lost track of billions,” he wrote. “Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change.”
