Corrupt..
“My loyalty does not go past if someone does something wrong …
In the aftermath of Adams’ indictment on bribery and corruption charges, the mayor’s top advisors and closest allies, from his schools chancellor to his police commissioner , were pushed to resign.
Gov. Hochul leaned on Adams to clean house of those in his inner circle who’d become ensnared in several separate corruption probes, even as they didn’t face criminal charges of their own and maintained they had done nothing wrong.
Now, as the mayor continues to fend off calls to resign, battles the federal charges he has pleaded not guilty to and runs for reelection, almost no one from the tight-knit crew he first entered office with — known internally as “Team Adams” — is left by his side.
How much corruption is there and for how long?
Sanctions..
Russia's/Ukraine war placed a further squeeze on critical commodities – food and energy. This was the result of reduced output from both countries during the fighting. The United Stated and Europe's sanctions on Russia's oil and other sections cause food shortage world wide, and Inflation in USA, Europe and the rest of the world. Costs climbed even further, triggering inflation rates that far outpace wage growth.
Prolong ..
Of course not. Even Zelsenkyy revealed that Western aid is not free and that everything has its price. In addition, to simplify the legislative process for providing weapons to Kyiv, the U.S. Senate recently passed the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022. Once signed, the Biden administration can lend or lease military equipment to Ukraine without needing to take votes in Congress each time,

Fees..
ABC News and their top anchor George Stephanopoulos have reached a settlement with Donald Trump in his defamation suit, which will result in the news network paying the president-elect $15 million.
The settlement was publicly filed on Saturday, revealing that the two parties have come to an agreement and avoided a costly trial. According to the settlement, ABC News will pay $15 million as a charitable contribution to a "Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for Plaintiff, as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past." Additionally, the network will pay $1 million in Trump's attorney fees.
Food..
Food that fights Dementia
Food that are rich in carotenoids include carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, papaya, apricots, and leafy greens such as spinach and kale.
Berries are a great source of antioxidants and flavonoids, both of which are known to prevent cell damage and can stop the progression of brain damage from free radicals.
Seafood, in particular fatty fish such as tuna and salmon, is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are associated with good brain health and a reduced risk of cognitive decline.
. Foods such as walnuts, almonds, peanuts, soybeans, lentils, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds are all good choices to add to your diet if you’re looking to score these benefits.
Whole grains are rich in fiber, B vitamins and other nutrients and can reduce inflammation in the brain, supporting memory and warding off dementia.
Plant based..
A new review study that looked at 95 articles found that by comparison, healthful plant-based diets (that includes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, and oils) most often resulted in improvements in weight, mortality (risk of dying), diabetes, cardiovascular (heart) disease, and psychiatric disorders.
A plant-based diet is an eating pattern that focuses on plant foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. Before you start a plant-based diet, it is good to explore whether it is right for you and learn what foods to eat and avoid when on it.
One study out of New Zealand found that individuals with obesity, heart disease, or diabetes who adopted a whole food plant-based diet experienced weight loss and had improvements in cholesterol levels and quality of life.
Aside from improvements in weight, plant-based diets may lower your risk of heart disease, according to a review study involving over 200,00 individuals.

Pre-Emptive .
"This is what authoritarianism is all about. It's what dictatorship is all about," Sanders added.
Asked whether Biden should consider preemptive pardons for committee members, which included seven House Democrats and two House Republicans — then-Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill. — Sanders told NBC News' "Meet the Press," "Well, I think he might want to consider that very seriously."
Comment: The Democratic party is talking about Democracy. This committee had a 3 years of investigating every one they can with Inserection. The people of America should know the truth.
President Joe Biden said "No one is above the law," ..but "just let's pardon those we.....".
Just a thought.

A Whimper..
This is the way the world ends,” T.S. Eliot famously wrote. “Not with a bang but a whimper.” He might have been talking about Joe Biden’s presidency.
As he prepares to slink out the door, Biden’s final days in the Oval Office offer a perfect metaphor for everything that was wrong with his tenure.
He pardoned his convicted-criminal son after vowing not to and his mass commutations included one for a judge convicted of taking kickbacks to send juveniles to for-profit detention facilities.
The judge was in Scranton, Pa., meaning Biden even betrayed distraught parents in his hometown.
His most recent dereliction fits another pattern. Just as he paid no attention to raging inflation, the open border and the decline of America’s global standing, Biden has gone missing as swarms of drones spark fears among millions of Americans on the East Coast.
Biden has said nothing, Vice President Kamala Harris has disappeared since losing the election and the White House offers only bland assurances that there’s nothing to worry about.
How’s that for a legacy?
Blatant..
While Biden pushes more than his share of inconsequential lies, some of them coming from him and his administration have been so blatant and obviously false that they deserve special attention.
Biden is just fine, thank you.” Although the cover-up of Biden’s decline went on for at least four years, it got particularly aggressive in 2024. It had to if Democrats were going to counter the growing chatter that Biden’s physical and mental acuity were deteriorating quickly. The June presidential debate made denialism impossible.
“The exploding federal debt is not a problem.” Only last June, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen reassured the public that the federal debt ($34.7 trillion at the time) was not a major concern. “If the debt is stabilized relative to the size of the economy, we’re in a reasonable place.”
But the debt was not stabilized, because her boss, Biden, has continued pushing taxpayer dollars out the door: for student loan forgiveness, green energy projects and many others.
“I will not pardon him.” That was Biden’s June 13 response to a direct question as to whether he would issue a presidential pardon for his son Hunter. Both Joe and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeated the assertion several times. And many Democrats publicly claimed they believed it — but hardly anyone else did.
Many other issues can go under this category. Just a thought.
Depot..
Footage has emerged of a massive explosion in northwestern Syria on Sunday, following an enormous Israeli airstrike .
The munitions depot was targeted as Benjamin Netanyahu's military aims to mitigate the threat from any forces intending to attack Israel after the abrupt end of Bashar al-Assad's rule . The blasts took place in the Tartus region, known for housing several military bases, including one used by Russia's navy.
Israel has been conducting a series of heavy airstrikes across Syria as its troops push further into the country.
Should we expect Peace in this region after the Assad Departure? Just a thought.
Bleak..
A report by Mediate paints a bleak picture for CNN, with the cable news outlet hitting an "all-time low in the Demo." In TV viewership terms, Demo is short for demographic, with the most coveted being in the 25-54 age bracket
Fox has continued to strengthen its position with a ninth consecutive year at number one, both in total viewers and the Demo.
According to the report, the election results have seen sharp ratings declines for both CNN and MSNBC. CNN's primetime demo is down roughly 52% since the election.
Viewer numbers reflect this decline, with the network down 45% to 405,000 viewers. Just a thought.
Leavitt..
President-elect Trump’s incoming press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump’s Day 1 executive orders may tackle Title 42.
Leavitt joined Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” where she outlined what can be expected from Trump’s first day in office next month.
Many things are happening even before the first Day.
Scorned..
The First Lady reportedly wants Joe to “burn the whole thing down, despite...”
Which is rather interesting given Joe has spent the last 4 years burning it down, the economy, border security, national security, and everything else he’s touched is already up in flames!

Merry..
Two..
Two US navy pilots were shot down over the Red Sea on Sunday in an apparent “friendly fire” incident, the American military said.
The incident underlines just how dangerous the Red Sea corridor has become after a year of attacks on shipping by the Houthis, who rule much of Yemen, despite US and European militaries patrolling the area and, along with Israel, repeatedly bombing the Arab country.
End..
The newspaper points out that the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States and the realities on the frontline seem to be pushing Zelenskyy to the negotiating table.
The question is did the current administration wanted the war to continue? Sending Cluster bombs which many countries, allies, and Human Rights organization opposed to it due to its long-term killing of innocent people and children way after the war ends, was that a signal?
Mind Diet..
The MIND diet is a combination of the Mediterranean diet—which has been linked to a plethora of positive health outcomes, from better heart health to general longevity—and the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet, developed to help lower blood pressure. "MIND" stands for Mediterranean-DASH intervention for neurodegenerative delay.
The MIND diet prioritizes whole grains, leafy green vegetables, berries, beans and nuts; encourages the consumption of other, non-leafy green vegetables, fish, seafood, poultry and olive oil; allows for limited consumption of red meat and wine; and limits the consumption of fast food, fried food, butter, margarine, pastries and sweet foods such as candy.
"Among the MIND diet components are 10 brain-healthy food groups—green leafy vegetables, other vegetables, nuts, berries, whole grains, seafood, poultry, olive oil and wine—and five unhealthy food groups—red meats, butter and stick margarine, cheese pastries and sweets, and fried/fast food."

Under-Water..
President Joe Biden’s approval rating sank to a new low in a Marquette University Law School poll released on Wednesday.
Muscles..
Skeletal muscles—those attached to your bones by tendons—make up about a third of the human body. They are voluntary muscles, which means you consciously control how they work, and perform a range of functions and movements throughout the body.
There are some 650 skeletal muscles given Latin names according to their location, size and shape, and action.
Muscles are made up of fibers that can get stretched or torn. When a muscle is overused—whether by too much repetitive movement or too much force or resistance.
Exercises to stretch and strengthen the muscles of the upper and lower leg are meant to keep these muscles flexible and strong, which is needed for good movement, balance and bone health.
Improving balance will make any athlete perform better and becomes even more important to prevent falls at an older age.
Exercising to keep your bones healthy is also crucial, whether it’s to keep playing sports at a high level or just continuing long walks with the dog. Just a thought.
Porche..
Specifically, they are the men who loaned Lewis-Martin's son $100,000 last year to buy a Porsche after she helped them resolve a buildings department issue with a construction project in one of their hotels.
The loan was memorialized in a promissory note. It is unclear if the loan has been paid back.

Veganism..
Whether you’re a meat eater or vegan, getting some of your protein from plant-based protein sources is important. Replacing animal-based protein even just two meals per week for plant-based ones such as this three-bean chili will help improve your health.

Ordained..
Ingrid Lewis-Martin, a formidable former City Hall official and top consigliere of Mayor Eric Adams, is expected to be indicted in Manhattan as soon as Monday, The Post has learned.
Multiple sources close to Lewis-Martin said Sunday that she and her legal team were bracing for the criminal charges to emerge this week from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, leading to her sudden departure from the administration over the weekend.
The Manhattan prosecutors and city investigators have been probing the top aide’s alleged role in leasing commercial properties to her close friends.
For years, Lewis-Martin has served as Adams’ closest ally and — as she once told the New York Times — the mayor’s “sister ordained by God.
