Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality.
Trump entered the 2016 presidential race as a Republican and defeated 16 other candidates in the primaries. His political positions have been described as populist, protectionist, and nationalist. Despite being disfavored in most forecasts, he was elected in a surprise victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. He became the oldest first-term U.S. President.
Five large secrets that most of the American media are afraid to utter :
- The American economy is growing in a way that is directly helpful to the most vulnerable segments of society;
- The administration’s trade policy is clearly working;
- The flow of illegal immigrants is sharply diminishing;
- and that for the first time in 65 years, the United States has practically ceased to be a net oil importer.
- He didn't start a new war.
These were all promises of the Trump candidacy, and the first three were areas where previous administrations had promised action but failed to deliver.
