How Bad is a Dictator?

The foreign minister said the Syrian government repeatedly has warned of the threat of terrorism and the need to cut off resources and funding but “no one listened to us.” Syria’s government has long described the rebels fighting to topple Assad as “terrorists” in a foreign conspiracy.

Syria is ready to co-operate and co-ordinate on the regional and international level in the war on terror,” Al-Moallem said. “But any effort to combat terrorism [in Syria]should be coordinated with the Syrian government.

Lord Dannatt said UK government should open talks with the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad as part of the campaign against Isis.  Sir Malcolm Rifkind, the Conservative former foreign secretary and chairman of the intelligence and security committee, who said it was sometimes necessary to work with "extremely nasty" people in order to defeat enemies who were even worse.

Here it is.

ISIS should be targeted in a way that makes the Syrian Army get back territories.

Remove its capability to move tanks, cars, forces, etc.

Quatar-Saudi should stop providing support, Turkey stop the flow through, and accordingly all professional foreign fighters would leave the area if they are not killed for trying to leave.

The terrorist leaders should be targeted in Syria, coordinated with the Assad Regime, and operations should be paraded in the various news.

This is a military operation with a big social propaganda.

Just a thought.
