A death of innocence..... Ferguson

Demonstrators, protesting the shooting death of teenager Michael Brown, scramble for cover as police fire tear gas on August 13, 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri. Brown was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer on Saturday. Ferguson, a St. Louis suburb, is experiencing its fourth day of violent protests since the killing.  Photo: Scott Olson, Getty Images

Police confront a protester in St Louis

"This is a boy who did everything right, who never got into a fight, who stayed in school."

The surveillance video shows a large African-American man pushing aside a smaller man who seemingly tries to stop him, then leaving the store. The larger man "appears to be" Michael Brown.
Newly released police documents claim the teenager roughly handled a clerk trying to stop him before walking out of the store with the box of Swisher Sweets Cigar.
The Ferguson police officer who shot him didn't stop him because he was suspected in a convenience-store robbery, but because he was "walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic," the city's police chief said Friday.

Protests in the St. Louis suburb turned violent, with some people lobbing Molotov cocktails and other objects at police who responded with smoke bombs and tear gas to disperse the crowd. Others robbed and destroy shops, stores and many arresteded.
We don't know everything happened, but what would peaceful people do without police in riot gear? See for yourself.
Just a thought.
