The Kingdom..

The Parable of the Two Sons

28 h“What do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in ithe vineyard today.’ 29 And he answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he jchanged his mind and went. 30 And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, kthe tax collectors and lthe prostitutes go into mthe kingdom of God before you.

  • The First Son: Represents perceived sinners (tax collectors and prostitutes) who initially rebelled against God, but later repented and obeyed through their actions.
  • The Second Son: Represents the outward religious elite (chief priests and elders) who claim to serve God with their words, but lack true obedience and fruit.

Change..

There are common triggers for divorce.   Men who refuse to change while their wives and their environment are constantly changing.

After menopause, or in the midst of it, women’s biology changes, and many reflect on how they want this new chapter to look. This requires effort because change can be rough and difficult.

Men are often standing still or, in some cases, regressing.  Men are not as good at keeping their social lives alive as women.

In the UK, 20 per cent of men report having no close friends, compared with 12 per cent of women. More than half (58 per cent) feel they have “no one to rely on in a crisis”.

These stats point to the importance of socializing.  Most women plan their kids’ lives (playdates, activities, parties) and their partners’ lives, while many men are much focus on their business success ad advancement.

 Just a thought.

Hugs..

Hugs trigger positive chemical reactions in the body that lower stress, protect heart health, and boost overall well-being.

 Chemical Changes in the Brain
  • Releases Oxytocin: Often called the "love" or "cuddle" hormone, oxytocin levels rise during a hug, promoting trust, safety, and social connection.
  • Boosts Dopamine and Serotonin: These feel-good neurotransmitters instantly lift your mood and create feelings of pleasure and belonging.
  • Lowers Cortisol: Hugs reduce the production of cortisol, the body's primary stress hormone, helping you feel calmer and less anxious.
  • Lowers Blood Pressure and Heart Rate: Pleasant touch stimulates skin receptors that send calming signals to the nervous system, which helps slow your heart rate and reduce blood pressure.
  • Supports Immune Function: Studies show that the stress-reducing power of hugs can protect against illnesses like the common cold and reduce inflammation.
  • Eases Pain: The release of endorphins during physical touch can act as a natural pain reliever and relax tense muscles.

News..

"The Public's right to know"

Comment:
The public has the right to know. However, the news dwindled andattached to few news people's opinion, set up by unknown someone.

Maybe we can keep the gloomy opinions to the opinion show. The Public can make their own conclusion.  Just a thought.

Baby Acc.

The tax-deferred investing accounts, which launched on July 4, can include a one-time $1,000 deposit from the Treasury Department for kids born between 2025 and 2028. Other funds may also be available for qualifying families.

But because signing up for a Trump Account has required families to "opt in" by filing IRS Form 4547 with their tax return or via TrumpAccounts.gov, overall participation rates, especially among low-income families, has been low, research shows.

The Social Security Administration previously said it would introduce a process to enroll newborns at the hospital at the same time families request a Social Security number during the birth registration process.

Griffin..

Billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin is doubling down on Miami, announcing on Wednesday a $3 billion donation to help fund a new campus for Carnegie Mellon University in the city.

No university in the history of US education has received such a donation until Citadel founder Ken Griffin pledged an unprecedented $3 billion to Carnegie Mellon University.

Part of the money will go towards making a new campus in Miami where Griffin stays and the rest will be for the development of the university campus in Pittsburgh.

Griffin’s $3 billion gift will consist of $1 billion to support CMU’s Pittsburgh campus, split evenly between flexible support for the university’s highest priorities and a $500 million investment in its top-ranked School of Computer Science, which will be renamed the Kenneth C Griffin School of Computer Science. An additional $2 billion will support the launch of CMU Miami," the university announced.

The Miami campus will support more than 3,500 undergraduate, master’s and PhD students, nearly 300 faculty and more than 600 staff members, with construction slated to begin in 2027.

Griffin will also become a member of Carnegie Mellon’s board of trustees. The board already includes hedge fund billionaire David Tepper, a Carnegie Mellon graduate and donor.
