Spirit..
While speaking at a progressive conference on Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., called for Democrats to not only defeat "MAGA extremists" electorally but also "break their spirit."
Jeffries, who stands to gain the House speaker’s gavel if Democrats take the majority in the midterm election, said that "part of how we as House Democrats view this moment, either MAGA extremists are going to break the country, or we're going to break them, and our goal is to break them."
During the panel, Jeffries assured, "As a guarantee, we are taking back control of the United States House of Representatives in November

Happiness..
True happiness is not defined by possessions but by how much we are able to appreciate and experience life.
It suggests that material wealth does not automatically bring satisfaction, as people can feel content with little while others with abundance may still feel empty.
The philosophy behind this thought encourages shifting focus away from constant accumulation and towards valuing peace of mind, meaningful relationships, and everyday moments of joy.
- Allocate discretionary funds toward things you can do rather than things you can own. Planning a trip, attending a local concert, or taking a weekend cooking class creates memories that appreciate with time.
- Take five minutes each day to write down specific, small moments that brought you joy. This actively trains your brain to notice and appreciate the beauty in everyday life.
- Material items often isolate us, but shared experiences and conversations build meaningful relationships. Prioritizing the people in your life enriches your emotional well-being far beyond what possessions ever could.

Hissing..
Keyonna Waddell, 35, was found guilty of assault and criminal possession of a weapon two years after she and her boyfriend had an argument that ended in a literal explosion.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney said in a press release after the verdict that Waddell and the unnamed victim had a verbal altercation at his apartment on March 22, 2024. After the boyfriend told Waddell to leave, both people left the apartment, and the victim came home and went to sleep.
According to Tierney, the victim believed he was alone in his apartment when he went to bed. While he was asleep, he was "awoken by a hissing sound" and saw fire in his bedroom. When he went to the source of the flames, he discovered a lit stick of dynamite and immediately attempted to extinguish it.
The victim ran out to his driveway, where he saw Waddell fleeing on foot.

Ebola..
US health authorities said they plan to temporarily bar permanent residents of the country from reentering if they’ve traveled recently to Ebola-affected areas in a new rule published Friday.
The move escalates the Trump administration’s reliance on travel restrictions in response to the fast-spreading outbreak in central Africa linked to hundreds of cases and 177 suspected deaths. The revision to quarantine rules lets the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention block lawful permanent residents, commonly known as green-card holders, from entering if they’ve traveled to countries where the virus is spreading.
That would intensify the restrictions announced earlier this week barring travel to the US for people who had been in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda or South Sudan in the prior 21 days. That order didn’t apply to US citizens, nationals or lawful permanent residents.
The CDC said in a statement that the rule won’t permanently bar affected green-card holders but provides the agency the authority to restrict entry when necessary. The rule said the decision stems from resource constraints and the fact that green-card holders are more likely to have ties to people who live living outside the US, making their inability to return to US soil less burdensome.
