Crimes..

Pennsylvania’s GOP-controlled House voted Wednesday to impeach Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner (D) over allegations that his policies led to a spike in violent crime, paving the way for a state Senate trial that could lead to his removal from office.

The 107-85 impeachment vote was split almost entirely on party lines, the Associated Press reported. (Democrats made gains in the House in November and have a chance at regaining control of that chamber.)

It isn’t clear when the Senate trial will be held. Two-thirds of state senators must vote against Krasner for a conviction, but Republicans hold just a slim majority in that chamber.

Too many crimes. Too many enablers. Just a thought.
