Leave ..

Two more aides working in Vice President Harris's office are expected to leave their roles in the coming weeks in addition to the two high-profile exits of her press secretary and communications director, a source familiar with the departures confirmed to The Hill.
Peter Velz, who is the vice president's director of press operations, and Vince Evans, the deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs for Harris, are planning to leave those positions soon, the source confirmed.
Harris' office declined to comment. The Washington Post first reported on their impending exits.
The departure of Velz and Evans, who are expected to take new jobs in or close to the Biden administration, comes on the heels of news that Symone Sanders, Harris's press secretary, will leave the administration. Officials suggested Sanders had long planned to leave at the end of 2021.

Sound...

New York City mayoral candidate Eric Adams said that Democrats need to
start on focusing federal level legislation regarding handguns instead of “assault rifles”, citing that more fatal shootings are committed with handguns as opposed to “assault rifles”.

But the sound bites to some Democrats are better this way.  Just a thought.

Decided...

The Justice Department has decided not to open a civil rights investigation into government-run nursing homes in New York over their COVID-19 response, according to a letter sent Friday to several Republican members of Congress.

Under former President Donald Trump’s administration, the department’s civil rights division requested data last August from four states New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan about the number of COVID-19 infections and deaths in public nursing homes.

The request came amid still-unanswered questions about whether some states, especially New York, inadvertently worsened the pandemic death toll by requiring nursing homes to accept residents previously hospitalized for COVID-19.

Thousands died unnecessary, and the Democrats are looking the other way. Just a thought.

Crowded...

Google will not be requiring its employees to return to offices on Jan. 10 as expected after all, according to an email sent to employees Thursday and seen by CNBC.

The company's security VP, Chris Rackow, wrote in the email to full-time employees that it will wait until the new year to assess when U.S. offices can safely return to a "stable, long-term working environment." None of the U.S. locations will adopt the hybrid working mandate on Jan. 10 as planned, his email said.

The new guidance comes after several previous delays and as most of the company's employees were expected to return to physical offices three days a week. It also comes as a small but growing portion of the company's employees fight the company's vaccine mandate.

Health officials in the U.S. and around the world say they are concerned that the new Covid-19 variant omicron, which has some 50 mutations, could prove more transmissible than previous strains and evade vaccines' protection to some degree.

Case..

Minnesota public health authorities confirmed Thursday what appears to be the second U.S. case of the Omicron Covid variant, in a resident who recently returned from New York City, the state's department of health said.
The man, who was fully vaccinated and has since recovered, traveled to New York City to attend the Anime NYC 2021 convention at the Javits Center Nov. 19-21, the department said in a statement. He developed symptoms shortly after returning and tested positive on Nov. 22.
New York health officials haven't yet confirmed any cases in the state, Gov. Kathy Hochul told reporters at a press conference in Manhattan on Thursday.
Some wants to Make the Omicron, the Cash cow of the 2022. Just a thought.

Snippet...

The Omicron variant of the virus that causes COVID-19 likely acquired at least one of its mutations by picking up a snippet of genetic material from another virus - possibly one that causes the common cold.

By inserting this particular snippet into itself, Omicron might be making itself look "more human," which evade attack by the human immune system, said Venky Soundararajan of Cambridge, Massachusetts-based data analytics firm nference, who led the study posted on the website OSF Preprints.

This could mean the virus transmits more easily, while only causing mild or asymptomatic disease. Scientists do not yet know whether Omicron is more infectious than other variants, whether it causes more severe disease or whether it will overtake Delta as the most prevalent variant. It may take several weeks to get answers to these questions.

So it is a mild case, like cold. But that wouldn't satisfy the Politicians, the officials, NY Mayor and the dictators want a be. Just a thought.

Fired...

CNN said Saturday that anchor Chris Cuomo has been "terminated" by the network, "effective immediately."

The announcement came after an outside law firm was retained to review information about exactly how Cuomo aided his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, when the then-governor was accused of sexual harassment.

CNN said in a statement: "Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother's defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately."

"However," the network said, "these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother's efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation."

Involvement that led to Firing their important anchor.  Does this envolvement has a different name?

Was there an agreement to ruin these ladies reputation in order to kepp the Governor in place?

Consent...

Afghanistan's Taliban government released a decree on women's rights which said women should not be considered "property" and must consent to marriage but failed to mention female access to education or work outside the home.
The Taliban has been under pressure from the international community, who have mostly frozen funds for Afghanistan, to commit to upholding women's rights since the hardline group took over the country on Aug. 15.
"A woman is not a property, but a noble and free human being; no one can give her to anyone in exchange for peace...or to end animosity," the Taliban decree, released by spokesman Zabihillah Muhajid, said.
It set out the rules governing marriage and property for women, stating women should not be forced into marriage and widows should have share in their late husband's property.
Economic pressure achieved more than occupation and bloodshed. Just a thought.

Fuel...

OPEC and a group of Russia-led oil producers agreed to continue pumping more crude, betting that pent-up demand in a post-lockdown world will outweigh any hit to economic activity by the recent permutations of Covid-19.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allied producers led by Russia said they would raise their collective production by another 400,000 barrels a day in January. The group agreed earlier this year to boost output in such increments each month until production reaches pre-pandemic.

But the oil production in USA decrease by 2 Million Barrells.  So the prices of the oil will stay three folds of what it was for now.

So, let us enrich the Opec countries.

Just a thought.
