Doctors believe a health supplement is to blame for a 23-year-old Texas woman's sudden, acute liver failure.
Emily Goss said that in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, she had each day been taking about four pills containing an herbal supplement meant to support hormonal balance, weight management and fertility.

Goss’ case is not the first documented instance of supplements causing damage to the liver and other internal organs.  Herbal and dietary supplements-induced liver injury now accounts for 20 percent of cases of hepatotoxicity in the U.S.
“Currently, however, the majority of HDS-associated liver injur[ies] are due to multi-ingredient nutritional supplements, and the component responsible for the toxicity is usually unknown or can only be suspected,” according to a 2016 study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health.

Hunter Biden is being sued by a former Washington, DC, stripper "stage name Dallas,” for paternity and child support. Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28, says that DNA tests ruled with “scientific certainty” that he’s the dad.

Biden was repeatedly seen at the Mpire Club in the capital’s historic Dupont Circle neighborhood — where Lunden Alexis Roberts, the mother of his alleged love child worked.

Hunter's finances are currently in the spotlight over his former position at the Ukrainian energy company, which has been at the center of Hunter's entanglement in President Trump's impeachment.
Defrauded investor Joel Caplan wants to be made a party in the case. He filed a witness statement from ex-Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.
Shokin claimed he was fired in 2016 because he was leading an investigation into Burisma, the company Biden was a board member of, and refused to shut it down, despite pressure from Hunter's father, then-VP Joe Biden.

The top Republican in the New York State Assembly was charged New Year's Eve with driving while intoxicated in his state-issued vehicle, just a week after he wrote a newspaper column warning citizens against getting behind the wheel drunk.
Brian M. Kolb, a Republican from Canandaigua who represents a district just outside Rochester, was arrested near his home after what he called a “lapse in judgement."
Authorities said they were called to a crash in Victor just before 10:30 p.m. after a vehicle ran into a ditch. Kolb was found to be the driver of the 2018 GMC Acadia that crashed in front of his home.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said that President Donald Trump has “tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox" with the targeted killing of Iran's top general in an airstrike at Baghdad’s international airport.
The former vice president joined other Democratic White House hopefuls in criticizing Trump's order, saying it could leave the U.S. “on the brink of a major conflict across the Middle East.
Intervening in Libya was the wrong decision, Vice President Joe Biden said in an earlier interview with Charlie Rose, suggesting that his worst fears and suspicions about what would happen once dictator Muammar Qadhafi was ousted have come to pass.
Biden said he had "argued strongly" within the White House "against going ... to Libya," a stance that put him at odds with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The $30 pies, which sell for more than half that on other days ($14.49), were being hustled out hot to ball drop revelers through New Year's eve crowds by Domino's delivery worker, according to the New York Post.
Unlike de Blasio, the thankful, hungry customers were satisfied by the hustle, if not elated.
"It's absolutely worth it," Amit Zanwar, 31, of New Jersey. "It was hot. It seems like it just came out of the oven. If he comes back, I will buy some more."
There was ire on Twitter, but it was directed at the mayor and not the company.
"Dominos are locally-owned franchises you melon head," right-wing tweeter Mike Cernovich posted.
To which someone responded: "as if none of the local pizzerias didn't upcharge for the holiday. Well said Mike, melon head indeed."

A former Miss Kentucky, in 2014, worked as a teacher in West Virginia has admitted to exchanging sexual photos with a 15-year-old student.

Ramsey Bearse, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing material depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct.  Authorities say she and the student exchanged photos between August and October 2018.
One of the student's parents then found lewd photos of Bearse on the student's phone. She was arrested in December 2018.

Bearse meant to send a risque photo to her husband, but accidentally sent it to the teen, she told the court. She claimed the student asked for additional photos and so she continued to send them because "I was afraid to not appease him."

The story didn't stick.  Just a thought.

Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked President Trump in a phone call for giving him a tip that helped stop "acts of terrorism" in Russia, Reuters reported the Kremlin said.
The Kremlin added that Trump and Putin will continue working together to combat terrorism and discussed a "set of issues of mutual interest" on the call, Voice of America reported. Reuters noted that the information was sent through special services without any additional details.
The White House did not immediately return a request for comment.
The Russian president also recently defended Trump, saying at his annual news conference earlier this month that the House's impeachment of the president was "far-fetched."
If Trump can cooperate with Putin, the old US guards have no one to hate and can't fill their pockets with dough.
Let history take a note of this President, he is not for war, destruction, killing, creating fake imaginary enemies.
He is for Peace and prosperity and many are not happy about it.

CNN’s beleaguered media show “Reliable Sources” with Brian Stelter hit an embarrassing new low on Dec. 22, when it averaged only 85,000 viewers among a key age group.
Stelter regularly touts the significance of the news demographic of adults age 25-54 but the dismal performance marked his lowest viewership of 2019 in the category.
The dismal performance from Stelter came as Fox News’ “Media Buzz,” a direct timeslot competitor, thumped CNN’s “Reliable Sources” across the board in 2019.
Stelter’s “Reliable Sources” averaged only 748,000 total viewers for the year prior to its 2019 finale on Dec. 29, while “Media Buzz” averaged 1.3 million over the same time period. In addition, CNN’s Sunday morning media show lost 12 percent of its viewers compared to 2018, while “Media Buzz” kept its audience with nearly identical year-to-year averages.

Stelter has repeatedly criticized Trump and members of his administration, often questioning Trump’s mental health and fitness for office. Back in August he was condemned for blaming technical issues for staying quiet when a guest said Trump is responsible for more deaths than brutal dictators Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong.
