An intense ideological conflict is dividing the Democratic Party as moderate leaders clash with the left wing over the radical "Workers Deserve More" platform released by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) in July 2026.  

 The DSA's "Workers Deserve More" platform proposes drafting a new U.S. Constitution that abolishes the Senate and replaces the presidency and Supreme Court with leaders chosen by Congress. 
The platform calls for abolishing national borders, defunding the Pentagon, eliminating most prisons, and shifting large corporations into government ownership 
 It promises guaranteed public housing, zero consumer debt, and universal healthcare as basic human rights. 
Moderate and establishment Democrats warn that the socialist agenda is electorally toxic and contains losing messages for general elections outside deep-progressive strongholds. 
  Figures like Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.) and former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel have publicly urged the party to reject the DSA, comparing the socialist faction's disruptive nature to the right-wing House Freedom Caucus.  
  Prominent progressive and democratic-leaning lawmakers have declined to endorse the controversial platform, and several high-profile progressive members have let their formal DSA memberships lapse.

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is facing a sharp political backlash after a July 2026 television interview where National Co-Chair Megan Romer reaffirmed the organization's far-reaching platform goals.  

During the interview, leadership reiterated long-term objectives that triggered widespread debate: 

Abolishing the U.S. Senate and national borders.
Replacing the presidency and the Supreme Court.
Defunding the Pentagon, abolishing ICE, and ending traditional prisons.
Transferring ownership of large corporations to the government.
Promoting universal healthcare and a 32-hour work week. 

Centrist Democrats: Mainstream party strategists—including James Carville and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel—publicly warned that close association with the DSA harms Democratic electability outside heavy progressive enclaves.

Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez distanced herself from several positions held by the national Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) during an interview on ABC's This Week, while acknowledging that the progressive rhetoric used during the Covid era is "not rhetoric that we would use today."

The New York Democrat also said she does not support several policies included in the national DSA platform, clarified that she belongs only to the organization's New York City chapter and argued that candidates should be judged by the positions they hold today rather than past rhetoric.

Asked whether the progressive movement had gone too far with some of its earlier positions, Ocasio-Cortez said the Covid era created an environment where broader policy debates took hold before acknowledging that the rhetoric had changed.

JP Morgan Chase & Co. is actively relocating staff and business operations to Florida and Texas, marking a significant geographic shift from its New York headquarters.

 CEO Jamie Dimon has said the bank is “growing in Florida left and right,” with new branches opening in Tampa and Orlando to serve clients and employees who have moved south since the pandemic. 

Florida’s appeal includes low taxes, warm weather, and a pro-business climate, which has also drawn other financial firms like Goldman Sachs and Citadel LinkedIn.

 JPMorgan’s presence in Texas has grown so much that it now employs more people in Texas than in New York state. The bank has around 31,000 employees in Texas.   

Texas’s business-friendly policies, lower costs, and political stability have made it a magnet for financial firms.

These moves are part of a broader trend where major Wall Street firms are shifting thousands of jobs to these states, creating new employment opportunities and strengthening the regional financial ecosystems.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers across the U.S. are experiencing a sharp rise in threats, harassment, and public hostility, with multiple factors contributing to the situation. 

ICE officials report an 8,000% increase in death threats and widespread doxing — the public release of personally identifiable information for malicious purposes — targeting officers and their families The Hill. Examples include social media posts with home addresses, coordinated online harassment campaigns, and threats against spouses and children. 

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin has called doxing “a deliberate act of intimidation” that undermines officer safety. Only in America?!!!!

Swing Left..

 

 The Democrats are doing the same thing they did in 2020. They're angry at Trump.   They're angry at their own leaders for not standing up to Trump in the way they think he should be stood up to. And so they're swinging left.

In 2020, it was moderately left.  the Democratic primary debate, presidential debate, almost all the candidates said, I believe in open borders. That was political suicide. Now this is a political suicide times 10.

 One of the firmest pieces of research across the board with massive amounts of evidence, indicates moderates do better than progressives. 

They do better in race after race and race by an average of maybe four points.

And so if you want to win and defeat Republicans, nominate a moderate.  

But Democrats seem to have not learned this message.

Being in a relationship with a hard-working man is not for everyone.  This is why some women these days are interested in men with no life perspective.

Having a relationship with a hardworking man is to understand that he might not always be available for you. 

You may think, there are times where he will not always seem invested in the relationship, but its not the case at all, its quite the opposite.

He wakes up every morning and works hard every chance he can to create a stable future for you and the load of kids you wanted. He may succeed or not to afford the minimum needs, yet he has to continue.

Male participants indicated a preference for women approximately 2.5 centimeters shorter than the national average when imagining a brief romance. In contrast, female participants maintained a steady ideal height for men, around 180 centimeters, reinforcing the “taller man” norm.

To measure preferences, volunteers evaluated minimalist silhouettes with annotated heights, choosing ideal partners for both short-term and long-term scenarios. 

This approach allowed researchers to identify patterns in attraction that challenge common assumptions, suggesting that physical traits like height play a subtle but significant role in romantic decision-making.

Experts in evolutionary psychology explain that height preferences may be linked to reproductive success and perceived health. 

Taller stature has historically been associated with social status and physical strength. The study also confirmed assortative mating, meaning taller individuals often seek partners of similar height, adjusting expectations based on their own physical traits.
