Former Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t yet ditched her reputation for clumsy answers while stumping for controversial US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan this week to try to help shore up vulnerabilities with black voters.

More Harris rallies are planned for Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) in Georgia and Nevada gubernatorial Aaron Ford, who is the state AG — but some Democrats are already saying no thanks.

 Adam Hamilton, the megachurch pastor who is the Democrats’ Senate candidate in Kansas, flat-out rejected the idea of a Harris visit.

“No offense to her. But she would not be a help to me. We are a different kind of Democrat . . . I would say please do not come to my state. I do not need you here. You would actually hurt me,” he flatly told NBC.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Wednesday blamed Ukraine for causing high oil prices by attacking Russian energy targets — as the Trump administration scrambles to lower prices at the pump ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.

Bessent’s remarks implicating Ukraine could serve as a warning to Kyiv, which has leaned on the US for military equipment to fend off Russia’s nearly five-year invasion.

“Ukraine has decided that they want to blow up Russian energy assets and refined products. So that is creating upward price pressure on a global basis,” Bessent told “Fox & Friends.”

So The United States give weapons to the Ukraine to defend itself, but it is used to increase US oil cost in the world. No wonder.  Just a thought.

Three news organizations whose journalists were banned from the White House last week are suing President Donald Trump and three top advisers, calling the abrupt lockout a “direct assault on the First Amendment.”

POLITICO, CNN and MS NOW said in a joint statement Monday that they are bringing the federal lawsuit in a bid to immediately restore access for their reporters, who were denied entry to the White House complex on Saturday and had their credentials confiscated by the Secret Service.

The White House is not instituting an assault on the Free Press, something which I cherish. It is instituting an assault on the FAKE NEWS, something that has grown like Cancer in our beloved United States of America,” he wrote on Truth Social early Monday. “It is corrupt, purposeful, pervasive, fully coordinated, and totally out of control. It is a threat to our National Security, and must be stopped, NOW!”

Ping Ping and Fu Shuang: Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that China will send two giant pandas—a male named Ping Ping and a female named Fu Shuang, both born in 2020—to Zoo Atlanta as symbols of friendship. 

 Xi Jinping announced that 100,000 young American students will be invited to study in China over the next five years, remarking during his visit that making America great again and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation can go hand-in-hand.  

 In return during a White House state dinner, U.S. President Donald Trump presented Xi Jinping with an ornate sculpture of a bald eagle that he and First Lady Melania Trump helped design.

How media outlets should be covering Trump’s second term, Dan Abrams said they need to “give credit” to Trump when he gets something right instead of being so open in their “hate” for a man that many cable news hosts openly branded a threat to democracy.

“I think that the media needs to try to restore credibility,” Abrams said.
He argued that Trump could have successes in foreign policy like the war in Ukraine or the Middle East and covering those topics will be a challenge for media outlets opposed to his presidency.

 Abrams argued that some controversies surrounding Trump ended up being a “gift” to him, including the hush money trial to adult film star Stormy Daniels.  The trial received major coverage on MSNBC, CNN, and other outlets.

Abrams said there is a “Trump derangement syndrome” in some of the media where hosts and pundits are incapable to giving any credit to Trump because of their opposition to him.

"Married people assume that single persons have more free time and money than them. They forget that couples split household duties and expenses, while single people have to keep up with everything themselves.

Senator John Fetterman is speaking out against the shifting ideological landscape within the Democratic Party as socialist candidates secure primary victories across the country. 

The Pennsylvania senator took to social media on Sunday afternoon to express his frustration with the growing preference for socialist policies among his party base, The Hill reported.

Fetterman is worried about the direction his colleagues are heading, especially as insurgent progressive candidates continue to see success in places like New York, Los Angeles, Michigan, and Colorado. 

The senator’s concerns are rooted in recent data from a CBS News poll that highlights a significant divide in how Democrats view economic systems.

Fetterman did not hold back when reacting to these statistics. “The Democratic Party is becoming the party of socialism. 58% view socialism positively. 50% view capitalism negatively. I’m a proud free market capitalist.  This is lunacy,” he wrote.

In late June, he offered a warning regarding the increasing prominence of what he described as the “dirtbag left.
