An NYPD cruiser plowed into a Bronx corner full of pedestrians while driving on the wrong side of the road during an emergency call, leaving ten people injured, including two children, police said.
As the other vehicle attempted to turn, the patrol car clipped it, swerved out of the way and then jumped the curb on the corner, striking numerous people, police said.
The roads been cut in half for a bicycle lane and a bus lane. One bicycle runs every 20 minutes, and one bus every thirty minutes. They all end up running in half the road due to parked cars temporarily. No place for emergency vehicle to run any where.
The street needs to be reopened. Just a thought.
