A day after he was fired as the Alabama Law Enforcement Secretary, Spencer Collier accused Gov. Robert Bentley of carrying on an extra-marital affair with a staff member.
The governor admitted to making "inappropriate" comments to Mason but denied having a physical affair.
"'If we're gonna do what we did yesterday we're going to have to lock that door,'" Mason said. The governor responded with improper comments about "her breasts and behind." [that is also a song]
State Auditor Jim Zeigler filed a complaint about potential misuse of state property in connection with the relationship.
Working together for so long is an issue on itself and humans behave as humans particularly in a small spaces. We shouldn't get too judgmental nor excited about who we are and our reaction to certain issues.
