Mark Hacking, 28, was outgoing and romantic, while Lori, 27, was private and practical.
He adored her and she adored him," recalls Lori's mother. "I couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law.
Hacking reported his wife missing, "she never came home after going for an early jog in nearby woods".
Police learned that he'd been shopping for a new mattress before he called 911. He was convicted of killing Lori.

Around 7 a.m. March 5, a 26-year-old pregnant woman was hit from behind in the head with a hammer in Briarwood, Queens. Her handbag was stolen.
Police believe two earlier incidents are related to the this attack with similar methodology. The suspect was arrested.
