Mach...

High tech and sex appeal are not things most Fords are known for, but that's something the 117-year-old automaker hopes to change with the all-electric Mustang Mach-E crossover.

It's the company's first EV under an $11 billion investment plan in electric vehicles through 2022, and it's Ford's first shot at Tesla.

"This is Ford's statement on EVs on where they are today and sets the tone of where they can go tomorrow," said Stephanie Brinley, principal automotive analyst at IHS Markit.

"This isn't their ultimate EV development because there's more coming, but where they put their foot down to begin with is important in setting them up for the future."

Change...

Not this time. There are not enough Covid vaccines to go around for the first 9 months. We can change our mind. Then will see the results, the good, the bad and the ugly if there is any.

The Man...

Very sad indeed. He served his God, his church, his family, and that's all of us, all his life.
A great example, hard to follow but a guide and a reference to all.

To his immediate family Samuel and Iman, their families, the church at large, and to my home town, may God give you His peace.

I have been blessed to have known the man .. for that long.

Curious...

Melatonin, a hormone available in supplement form and often sold as a sleep aid, may boost long-term memory and help protect from cognitive decline over time, according to a new study out of Japan.

The potential benefits were linked to melatonin and two metabolites that result from the item.

The new study comes from the Tokyo Medical and Dental University; it involved lab mice, not humans, but the researchers say the findings may also apply to people.

The research involved mice faced with novel object recognition, which refers to presenting mice with new and familiar items and observing how they interact with them.

Mice are naturally curious and will spend more time exploring new objects than the ones they’ve seen before.

We...

Missouri and five other states on Thursday threw their support even further behind the Texas lawsuit aiming to prevent Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin's electors from casting their electoral votes by asking the Supreme Court to let them join the Texas suit.

Missouri led a group of 17 states in filing a brief that supported the Texas lawsuit, which alleges that the four key swing states that voted for President-elect Joe Biden violated the Constitution by having their judicial and executive branches make changes to their presidential elections rather than their legislatures.

But the Thursday filing led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, which also includes Arkansas, Utah, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, would make those states parties before the court in the case rather than just outside voices weighing in. President Trump's campaign did the same on Wednesday.

"The intervening states do not doubt that plaintiff state of Texas will vigorously and effectively litigate this case, but the attorney general of each individual state is best situated to represent the interests of that state and its people," the six states said in their request.

Vaccines...

May be the Pfizer's Vaccines rolling down in major cities would be the help we need, the hope that we have never lost. So... let us keep hope alive.  Just a thought.

Lentils...

Beans reign supreme in Blue Zones and are the cornerstone of every longevity diet in the world: Black beans in Nicoya; lentils, garbanzo and white beans in the Mediterranean; and soybeans in Okinawa.

Most centenarians eat at least four times as many beans as Americans do on average  at least a half cup per day. And so should you.

Beans are packed with more nutrients per gram than any other food on Earth.

On average, they are made up of 21% protein, 77% complex carbohydrates, and only a few percent fat. Because they are fiber-rich and satisfying, they'll likely help to push less healthy foods out of your diet.

Moderna..

There was one piece of data in Moderna's late-stage results that just might give it an advantage over BNT162b2. The biotech said that there were 30 severe cases of COVID-19 observed in its clinical study. All of those cases occurred in the group of participants receiving placebo with none in the group receiving mRNA-1273.

Pfizer and BioNTech announced that 10 severe cases of COVID-19 were observed in its late-stage study. Nine of those occurred in the placebo group with one in the group vaccinated with BNT162b2.

Pfizer and BioNTech designed special thermal shippers filled with dry ice that maintain the needed temperature. These shippers can be used as temporary storage units for up to 15 days by refilling with more dry ice as needed.

Moderna's mRNA-1273 is a messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine like BNT162b2. It also initially required ultracold storage. However, Moderna modified its approach to address this issue.

Its coronavirus vaccine can now remain stable at temperatures between 36 degrees and 46 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 days. This means that standard refrigerators can be used to store mRNA-1273. The vaccine also will remain stable at minus four degrees Fahrenheit for up to six months and at room temperature for up to 12 hours.

OnlyFan...

A mom of three who was cleared of knowingly having sex with a boy who was only 14 now plans to capitalize on her notoriety by peddling images and videos on a raunchy website, according to a report.

“I’m thinking about doing an OnlyFans account. People already hate me, so not much to lose,” Teah Vincent announced in an Instagram video, the Sun reported.

OnlyFans is a subscription site where subscribers pay to view content deemed too X-rated for social media.

Vincent, 32, admitted to initiating sex with the teen after inviting him and a pal into her Glousterceshire home.

The mom insisted she thought he was 16, the legal age of consent in the UK.

She said in an online rant that she hopes the teen’s family “gets karma,” The Sun reported.
