Good Luck...*

financial-advisor-questions

The past few years was filled with problems in the financial world. Starting with the 2007 collapse of large financial institutions.

In 2013, some Hedge funds, and Bond Funds lost money while the market was up 30%.

In order to choose a financial manager for your 401k, it is important to understand few issues

Concept: You are the one who is giving the instruction to how the money being invested. So be careful of what you say.

Risk. Being young doesn't necessary mean that your risk tolerance should be much higher than some one much older.

Cycle. The cycle of economical activities is important. The start, middle and the end.
Fees. The fees that you pay may be problematic depending where you invest in.

What will they do for you and how often. If it is just the initial discussion, look for alternative.

Monthly Review. Compare your performance to the broad market and adjust.

Don't just accept a computer program managing your money.
Don't just leave your money completely to others.
Don't just leave it as is for years
The market is not static and so is your views.   Just a thought.

Image result for Hanna Bouveng

A young Swedish woman who sued her former Wall Street executive boss over lurid allegations of sexual conquest, betrayal and stalking was awarded $18 million by a federal jury.

Hanna Bouveng, 25, accused Benjamin Wey, a Chinese-born American Wall Street financier, and CEO of New York Global Group, in an $850 million lawsuit of using his power as owner of the Group to coerce her into four sexual encounters before firing her after discovering she had a boyfriend.

Bouveng, who was raised in Sweden, testified that soon after Wey hired her, the CEO began a relentless quest to have sex with her. She says he fired her six months later after she refused any more sexual contact and he found a man in her bed in the apartment he helped finance.
Wey, 43, also sought to defame Bouveng by posting articles on his blog accusing her of being a "street walker," a "loose woman" and an extortionist, her lawyers say.

Wey walked into a Stockholm cafe in April 2014 where she was working a few months after she was fired from Global Group, her attorney told jurors. "The message was: 'Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, I am going to find you and I am going to get you," Ratner said.

The married financier denied ever having sex with Bouveng. He portrayed her as an opportunist. Wey testified that Bouveng knew nothing about finance before he hired and began mentoring her. She betrayed his generosity by embracing a party-girl lifestyle that left her too exhausted to succeed.  Apparently she did... Just a thought.

Image result for life insurance skipped paying

When you take out a life insurance policy, you pay premiums in the expectation that when you die your spouse or your children will receive the benefit. But audits of the nation's leading insurance companies have uncovered a systematic, industry-wide practice of not paying significant numbers of beneficiaries.

The beneficiary never comes forward because he or she doesn't know the policy exists.
But the companies know, says Kevin McCarty, the insurance commissioner of Florida, who led the national task force investigating the industry.

The companies don't pay, he says, unless a beneficiary makes a claim.  Companies have actual knowledge in their files that people have died, yet they have neglected to initiate an investigation and pay the claim.

In a little-known series of settlements, 25 of the nation's biggest life insurance companies have agreed to pay more than $7.5 billion in back-death benefits. However, about 35 insurance companies have not settled and remain under investigation for not paying when the beneficiary is unaware there was a policy, something that is not at all uncommon.

You can't scam the Insurance companies, but the Insurance companies may be able to.

Israel's tax authority says international supermodel Bar Refaeli and her mother are suspected of tax evasion for allegedly not reporting millions of dollars in income earned abroad and on luxury items.
The authority said Refaeli didn't report the free Range Rover and Lexus cars she received from car companies in exchange for published photos of herself with the cars. It also says Refaeli did not pay taxes on a luxury apartment in Tel Aviv, where she lives.

That is too bad, but don't act as if you didn't see a beautiful one before?

Cigars...?*

President Obama announced the most significant change in U.S. policy toward Cuba in more than 50 years, paving the way for the normalization of relations and the opening of a U.S. Embassy in Havana.

Obama said "we will end an outdated approach that for decades has failed to advance our interests.  Instead we will begin to normalize relations between our two countries."These 50 years have shown, isolation has not worked.

Obama said as these changes unfold, he will talk to Congress about lifting the embargo on Cuba. The U.S. severed diplomatic relations with Cuba in 1961, shortly after Fidel Castro and his communist rebels ousted dictator Fulgencio Batista.

This decision deserves the respect and recognition of our people," Castro said. However, this "does not mean that the most important issue has been resolved. The embargo on our country ... has to end."

The same "know it all" came out against the decision. So much talk, but the Republicans’ outcry against the new policy contradicts their own faith in the power of free market economies.

Nobody dared to approach this issue for years. Obama did.   Just a thought.

Two Australian brothers aged 16 and 17 were stopped at Sydney Airport on suspicion of headed to join the Iraq conflict.
"These two are kids, not killers, and they shouldn't be allowed to go to a foreign land to fight, then come back more radicalized," Dutton told reporters. The boys' parents were "as shocked as any of us would be"

Australians who fight for foreign militant groups face prosecution at home. It became a criminal offense punishable by 10 years in prison for an Australian to enter the Islamic State-held territory without a legitimate reason. " My message to anyone who is listening to the death cult is block your ears. Don't even begin to think you can leave" Australia.

The government said at least 90 Australians were fighting with and supporting terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria and have had their passports canceled. More than 20 Australians have been killed, that is 23% and the rest is facing the same difficulties. Its a serious choice.

Image result for trump

A new poll finds the businessman with both his broadest support and his widest lead in any national live-interviewer telephone poll since he announced his candidacy in June.

Three candidates cluster behind Trump in the mid-teens,  Ted Cruz at 16%, Ben Carson at 14% and Marco Rubio at 12%. All other candidates have the support of less than 5% of GOP voters.

The poll reflects Trump's dominance over the rest of the field. He holds massive margins over other Republicans as the candidate most trusted to handle the economy, the federal budget, illegal immigration, ISIS and foreign policy.
Carson (down 8 points), Jeb Bush (down 5 points to 3%) and Rand Paul (down 4 points to 1%)

The poll was conducted before the shootings in San Bernardino, California, but this will potentiate Trump position further more.

All tried to dismiss Trump in favor of others, but his tackling the issues that the Country is concern about set him up in first place. The Economy, Immigration, Social services, Unemployment, the Middle east, the Federal Budget, Healthcare for the poor, etc. put him up on top.

Presidents Carter, Regan, Clinton, and Obama reach the top of their political career from just an entry level., Trump is on his way. Who knew?  Just a thought.... [Written December 4th., 2015]
