Weaver" Supremacy..

In an August 2019 post on X, then known as Twitter, Cea Weaver wrote “Private property including and kind of ESPECIALLY homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy masquerading as ‘wealth building’ public policy,”

Weaver wrote. A screenshot of the post was shared by the conservative account Libs of Tiktok.

On his first day in office, Mamdani appointed Weaver as director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants. Weaver previously served as the executive director of Housing Justice for All and the New York State Tenant Bloc, according to a statement from the mayor’s office.

Welcome to the new trial.   Just a thought.

Bock..

A federal judge has finally pulled the plug on the lavish lifestyle of the woman prosecutors say sat at the center of the massive Minnesota fraud scandal that drained a staggering quarter-billion dollars from a program meant to feed hungry children.

Aimee Bock, the 44-year-old ringleader behind the Feeding Our Future non-profit, She was found guilty on federal charges of bribery, wire fraud, and conspiracy in relation to the largest COVID-19 fraud scandal in America.

The ringleader of the Minnesota fraud scheme who once wrapped herself in the language of compassion and community service, has now been ordered to surrender her Porsche, diamond jewelry, designer handbags, electronics and millions of dollars tied to the fraud. The ruling marks a dramatic reversal for someone Aimee Bock, who allegedly turned pandemic relief into a personal ATM.

The Minnesota fraud case investigators say at least $250 million was siphoned off by Aimee Bock through a network of nonprofits and shell organizations that flourished during a period when oversight was loosened and urgency trumped verification. Officials warn the final price tag could climb even higher as financial records continue to be untangled.

The Bock.... Stopped here.

Warren..

On Monday, Elizabeth Warren posted on X, saying, "The economy is rigged against hardworking Americans. We have to fix it.

Democrats need to be clear on the kinds of investments that we want to make, how we'll build them, and really fight for them. That's what the American people want and deserve."

The Massachusetts senator urged her party to pair campaign promises with detailed implementation plans and the "fight" to push them through, echoing a message she has delivered for months as she slams what she calls a two-track recovery that favors the wealthy.

Comment:

The Democrats spent their time on illegal border crossings, deportation, ICE and the likes

Then, became the Epstein files of the forbidden acts by someone who is convicted and killed himself. Yet vengeance is running ramped to figure out if some politicians are associated with a convicted person, wasting the time and diverting the attention from the good economics that has been reported

Then they come with to the good economics but is not reaching the hard-working people and oncourse the illegals.

Comment:

This is an admission that the current economy improved after many years.   Just a thought.

Socializing..

Socializing with others is strongly linked to reducing the risk of Alzheimer's and dementia, as it builds cognitive reserve, helping the brain resist decline by promoting healthy behaviors, reducing stress, and improving overall brain function, with studies showing more socially active individuals develop dementia years later or face lower risks.
Social isolation is a significant risk factor, making strong social networks, community involvement, and regular engagement crucial for brain health.
Social interaction, education, and engaging activities build up the brain's ability to cope with damage, delaying cognitive decline.
  • Reduces Stress & Inflammation: Social connections can lower stress hormones and inflammation, which negatively impact brain health.
  • Promotes Healthy Habits: Being social often encourages physical activity (like walking groups) and provides purpose, both beneficial for the brain.

Appointee..

Catherine Almonte Da Costa, a key appointee for New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, has resigned from her post and was subsequently edited out of a New York magazine cover photo.

The departure follows the surfacing of several antisemitic social media posts written by Da Costa more than a decade ago. Da Costa had been tapped to lead the administration’s office of appointments before the controversial comments were brought to light.

Da Costa was originally selected to oversee “talent recruitment strategy” for the new administration.

The posts included tropes regarding Jewish people and specific comments about transit lines in Jewish neighborhoods.

According to reports, Da Costa was edited out of a magazine cover to reflect her departure, leaving a visible white space where she had originally stood.

Border..

Border screening is expanding. Under a rule effective December 26, U.S. Customs and Border Protection can now collect facial recognition data from all noncitizens entering and exiting the U.S., including green card holders at airports, land crossings, and seaports.

Foreign travelers may soon face deeper vetting before arrival. CBP plans to require five years of social media history for applicants using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, citing national security requirements tied to a 2025 executive order.

Meanwhile, marriage is no longer a guarantee for a green card. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that while spouses are considered immediate relatives, more scrutiny will be placed on these unions.

Emphasis will be placed on cohabitation, not just marriage, to prove validity.

Thank You .

People who say “please” and “thank you” so naturally, it feels like breathing. Just this steady, quiet politeness that shows up everywhere is refreshing.
At the coffee counter, in emails, and in little everyday moments where a lot of folks are rushing, distracted, or half-present, not these folks.  Habit like that is usually attached to deeper qualities that shape how someone treats others, handles stress, and moves through relationships.
They treat help as a gift, and that’s humility in practice.
Humility is about not placing yourself at the center of every interaction.
They can feel annoyed and still speak with respect.
That takes a bit of self-control, and self-control is a real psychological skill.
Politeness is often a form of everyday respect.
It says: “I recognize you as a person,” “I’m asking, not ordering,” and “I understand you have a choice here.”
The words come easily because appreciation comes easily.

Strength..

Strength building (resistance training) can significantly help reverse or slow brain decline by boosting neuroplasticity, increasing brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), reducing inflammation, and improving brain structure, with studies showing benefits for memory, attention, and executive function, even in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
Regular weightlifting, at least twice weekly, promotes healthier neurons, less shrinkage, and improved cognitive performance, potentially delaying dementia progression.
  • Boosts Neuroplasticity: Enhances the brain's ability to reorganize itself and form new neural connections.   Produces neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory factors that protect brain cells.
  •  Linked to healthier neurons and less shrinkage in areas vulnerable to Alzheimer's.
  •  Builds muscle, countering age-related muscle loss and reducing metabolic problems linked to cognitive decline.
  •  Weight training may delay the progression of dementia by acting on various pathways.
