No Cash Bail..

President Donald Trump on Monday announced a federal takeover of the Washington, D.C., police department to tackle crime—and suggested New York and other U.S. cities could be next if they don't "self-clean up.
I'm going to look into New York in a little while," Trump said. "And if we need to do, we're going to do the same thing [in those cities].”
The president singled out local leadership in America's big cities, which is often Democratic, as well as cashless bail, saying,
“Every place where you have no cash bail is a disaster. That’s what started the problem in New York, and they don’t change it. They don’t want to change it.”

What a nice welcome to those who wants to defund the police.

Just a thought.

Sepsis..

A voluntary recall has been initiated for certain soap products that could contain bacteria which can lead to “life-threatening infections” including sepsis, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

DermaRite Industries initiated the recall after discovering the products may be contaminated with Burkholderia Cepacia.

This bacteria can cause local infections in healthy people with cuts, but it poses a serious risk to those with weakened immune systems, potentially leading to life-threatening sepsis if it enters the bloodstream.

Just a thought.

Tariffs..

President Donald Trump’s sweeping new tariffs are raking in unprecedented sums for the federal government, so much, in fact, that a top budget watchdog says the revenue rivals the impact of creating a brand-new payroll tax or slashing the entire military budget by nearly one-fifth.

These are rough estimates, to be sure, conveyed to communicate the magnitude of the tariffs, not precise contributions to the budget.

But can these massive cash flows, already topping tens of billions monthly, truly put a dent in America’s $37 trillion national debt.

Yes it well.  Just a thought.

Wowee..

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out after a news outlet reported her net worth.

In a Sunday post on X, Greene called out Bezinga for reporting on her financial situation.

"Greene's net worth has reportedly increased from $700,000 before she joined Congress to approximately $22 million today," the report said.

"My hard earned wealth, that I am thankful and proud of HAS NOT in any way come from politics!!!" she exclaimed. "As a matter of fact I made a hell of a lot more money and my life was WAY EASIER before I entered public life."

Comment:

What about the rest of the Congress men and women?   Just a thought.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-M.A., is backing New York City Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, and says she sees the self-described democratic-socialist as the future of the Democratic party.
When asked if the Democratic party is what Mamdani’s socialist policies should look like, Warren responded with, “you bet,” while speaking to press at an affordable childcare event in New York City on Monday.
“New York City is the place to start the conversation for Democrats on how affordability is the central issue, the central reason to be a Democrat,” Warren said.
Warren added that she thinks “Republicans are right to tie this race to the national race.”
Warren voiced her support for Mamdani earlier that day during an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, saying that Mamdani’s key to winning the Democratic nomination was focusing on affordability.

If the Mandani is the future of the Democratic Party, then what is the future looks like?  Just a thought.
