But..

Late..

US officials on Monday touted another month of low border crossings, citing recent executive action curbing asylum access at the US southern border, even as former President Donald Trump levels campaign attacks over the Biden administration’s handling of border security.

Immigration and border security remain among the top issues for voters, and Trump has made them a cornerstone of his campaign, pinning blame on Vice President Kamala Harris over the handling of the US-Mexico border.

But while border crises have dogged administration officials for the better part of Joe Biden ’s presidency, the number of people illegally crossing the border over the last two months has drastically fallen.

Comment:

So there is a solution to the crisis in the border, where Biden/Harris let it rut for 3 years then as the election comes up, let us do something.

So the Ukraine War, the Middle East gets the Military immediately regardless the cost and waste, but when it comes to the borders ......

Just a thought.

Espionage..

Turkish prosecutor is seeking a total of 45 years in prison for 20 suspects, who are charged with spying on Palestinian nationals and Hamas-linked people targeted by Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

Therefore, it is possible the next steps could have been the execution or abduction of these individuals," the prosecution said, adding that official phone records made it evident the suspects earned advantages and made money in exchange for their activities for Mossad.

A swathe of evidence in the indictment includes conversations the suspects made with phone numbers belonging to the Mossad unit, as well as footage on their phones and bank receipts.

Cameras..

South Korea's military has been forced to remove over 1,300 surveillance cameras from its bases after learning that they could be used to transmit signals to China, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported .

The cameras, which were supplied by a South Korean company, "were found to be designed to be able to transmit recorded footage externally by connecting to a specific Chinese server," the outlet reported an unnamed military official as saying.

While some of the cameras were near the border with North Korea, they weren't monitoring it and were instead focused on training bases and fences, the official said.

Just a thought.

Swapping..

In just over 24 hours, Ukraine experienced significant losses in its air force, with two Su-27 fighters and one MiG-29 shot down.

According to a press release from the Russian Ministry of Defense, these incidents occurred during dogfights and were overwhelmed by air defense systems between late September 14 and throughout September 15.

Losing Su-27s is a tough blow for Ukraine since these fighters offer unique air defense and interception capabilities that are hard to replace, even with modern Western jets like the F-16.

While the F-16 comes with modern avionics, it’s fundamentally doesn’t directly replace the specialized air superiority role of Su-27.

Swapping Su-27s for F-16s would mean Ukraine sacrifices some strategic advantages of the Su-27’s longer range and heavy payload, even though the F-16 brings cutting-edge technology and interoperability.
