Debt..

Top congressional Republican Kevin McCarthy said on Monday afternoon that talks over raising the U.S. federal government's $31.4 trillion debt ceiling were "on the right path" hours ahead of a meeting with Democratic President Joe Biden.

The president and the speaker of the House of Representatives, McCarthy, have just 10 days to reach a deal to increase the government's self-imposed borrowing limit or trigger an unprecedented default.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Monday offered a sobering reminder of how little time is left, saying the earliest estimated default date remains June 1 and that it is "highly likely" that Treasury will no longer be able to pay all government obligations by early June if the debt ceiling is not raised.
Biden wants more taxes while McCarthy wants to reduce waste and spending.
We spend 800 billion Dollars/ per year and we are not engaged in real war that impact the USA in the past ten years. Massive spending with disastrous outcome.

Back..

Biden announced during last week's Group of Seven summit in Hiroshima, Japan, that the U.S. would join the F-16 coalition. His green light came after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spent months pressing the West to provide his forces with American-made jets as he tries to repel Russia's now 15-month-old grinding invasion.
Long shadowing the administration's calculation were worries that such a move could escalate tensions with Russia. U.S. officials also argued that learning to fly and logistically support the advanced F-16 would be difficult and time consuming.
But over the past three months, administration officials shifted toward the view that it was time to provide Ukraine's pilots with the training and aircraft needed for the country's long-term security needs, according to three officials familiar with the deliberations who requested anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.
America is back baby...  War and nothing but war. Just a "Peace destroying" thought.

Age..

Hillary Clinton took a jab at President Joe Biden's age while talking at the Financial Times Weekend Festival in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, May 20.

"There was that heart-stopping moment when he almost fell over coming down the stairs a day or two ago," Financial Times editor Edward Luce asked the politician.

"He didn't use a railing, and Jill [Biden] wasn't there with him. Every time that happens, your heart is in your mouth because these things could be consequential. Is that a concern?"

When answering the question, Clinton, 75, didn't hold back despite supporting Biden in the past. "It's a concern for anyone. We've had presidents who had fallen before who were a lot younger, and people didn't go into heart palpitations," she said.

"But his age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it," Clinton added. "But, you know, he has this great saying and I think he's right don't judge him for running against the Almighty but against the alternative.

Striking back at China’s aggressive use of economic power, President Joe Biden and leaders of other advanced democracies have been working toward a collective strategy to foil what they say are Beijing's attempts to intimidate businesses and nations for political gain at the Group of Seven summit this weekend.

Members have been considering ways to defend against what they describe as coercive tactics that China deploys for political leverage.
The G7 also used economic sanctions against many countries in the Middle East.
So, currently, the world is in Limbo where the great powers can't get together peacefully to overcome the current challenges of today's Climate change, Wars, poverty and famine in many countries like Yemen and Syria.
Just a thought.
