Liberal Democrats known as progressives have never commanded a political majority. Not even close, really. That’s why progressive candidates such as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren bombed in the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, while the more centrist (at the time) Joe Biden won the Democratic nomination, then the presidency.

The high point for progressives may have been the Green New Deal, which the newly elected Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York spearheaded in 2019 after her come-from-nowhere upset of a party stalwart. Democrats re-took control of the House that year, and the Green New Deal was a vision for sweeping, egalitarian change in the energy sector and much of the economy. It wasn’t a legislative package, but a manifesto for ending 40 years of crony capitalism.

It's been mostly downhill from there, and the majority of Democrats themselves may have now tired of progressive visions of 

a mythical Shangri-La. In the June 7 primary elections in California, voters recalled the progressive San Francisco district attorney Chesa Boudin, whom they elected in 2019. Boudin crusaded against “two systems of justice,” one for the wealthy and one for everybody else, and he advocated alternatives to prison for many convicts. San Francisco’s liberal voters endorsed that view a couple years ago, but with worsening crime, homelessness, drug use and untreated mental illness on the city’s streets, they’ve now said, enough of that! Enough of it.

The problems in this country are massive. The south border out of control, The Pandemic that Biden said he will listen to the scientist and to end it," Inflation, Climate change, shutting down the Keystone xl pipe line, Baby Formula, Gas and Food crises which caused by this administration and adding fuel to the fire with the Ukraine war that is causing world wide food shortage and we still talking about the Inserection. Just a thought.

Today’s report underscores why I have made fighting inflation my top economic priority. While it is good to see critical “core” inflation moderating, it is not coming down as sharply and as quickly as we must see.

 Putin’s Price Hike hit hard in May here and around the world: high gas prices at the pump, energy, and food prices accounted for around half of the monthly price increases, and gas pump prices are up by $2 a gallon in many places since Russian troops began to threaten Ukraine. Even as we continue our work to defend freedom in Ukraine, we must do more—and quickly—to get prices down here in the United States.

 Mr. Biden is not giving it straight as he promised due to the coming election.

The Russia Ukraine war didn't do the massive raises in gas cost. It is Biden's Administration Premature Sanctions on Oil, Gas etc.  and extending the war time that impacted the oil and food prices.

The surgeon and public policy researcher Dr. Makary said that because the virus “profoundly skewed towards older people and people with comorbidities,” sweeping restrictions should not have been implemented country wide.  

“Yet we continued to treat this as if everybody was at equal risk, and we continue to do that today,” he continued.

“In schools, where children bear the biggest burden of the restrictions in this country.

“So I think the public is hungry for honesty and basic humility from public health officials.”

Calling the report one of the “biggest stories in the world today,” he denounced the university for not sharing the information more widely.

The John Hopkins was written by economists and not epidemiologists, the paper heavily criticized the “public health effects” of lockdowns.

“They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy,” the report said.

“Lockdowns should be rejected out of hand as a pandemic policy instrument.”

The real investigation here should be Who and What caused the Inflation, tripling oil prices, our goals and communication with Ukraine, US and Europe recession and world hunger.

One would think that the Domestic problems are hidden due to the Russia/Ukraine war.

So who started this particular war to hide domestic problems?

Who promise to extend the war to hide the domestic problems?

finally, who cared so much on the complete destruction of the Ukraine, Russia, with recession in Europe, and major food shortage in the world where poor countries, poor people and poor children are suffering, just to hide its domestic failure?

Just a thought.

New White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was delivering her third on-camera goodbye to a departing staffer in less than 24 hours when she quipped to reporters, “I promise we will have a press shop.” She added, “Not everyone is leaving.”

It’s a dynamic playing out across the White House complex this month — and more evidence that not even the White House is immune from what has been called "the great resignation” as employers struggle to fill vacancies and workers jump to new jobs at record rates.

The administration is undergoing a period of unusually high staff turnover as President Joe Biden nears 18 months in office. Long hours, low morale and relatively low pay are taking a toll on both the ranks of the senior staff and the more numerous junior aides who keep the White House functioning. Is it really functioning? Just a thought.
