Waste...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Democrats are moving forward with trying to remove President Donald Trump from office days after the riots at the Capitol.

Pelosi told her members in a letter that the House would attempt to pass a measure Monday to call on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump from office. If he does not act, Democrats will proceed with impeaching Trump.

"In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this President represents an imminent threat to both," she wrote.

Pelosi is Consuming time and money chasing the President of the United States of America.

Nothing changed in politics.   Just a thought.

Suffolk...

Covid-19 Cases in Suffolk County is at a level that makes the outbreak here “severe,” according to a risk assessment group affiliated with Georgetown University. Suffolk currently has 121 cases per 100,000 residents.

Since the New Year, the risk of contracting the virus in Suffolk has been “extreme” — because daily new cases rose above 75 per 100,000 people  under metrics published by the Harvard Global Health Institute.

New York State as a whole crossed into the extreme risk category, when daily new cases first exceeded 75 per 100,000. As of yesterday, that number had ticked up to 79 per 100k.

Suffolk’s 121 cases per 100,000 residents ranks the county fourth highest in New York State, behind the upstate counties of Herkimer, Cayuga and Lewis, according to data collected and published by the nonprofit risk assessment group,

One of the best poem in Arabic that we all can associate ourselves with. Someone we have, hold and enjoy or someone we use to have and time was short. yet the memory last for ever.

Failure...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) forced out Senate sergeant-at-arms Michael Stenger one day after rioters breached the Capitol, the GOP leader announced Thursday night.

"Today I requested and received the resignation of Michael Stenger, the Senate Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper, effective immediately," McConnell said in a statement.

Deputy sergeant-at-arms Jennifer Hemingway will become the acting SAA.

McConnell's announcement is the latest sign of housecleaning among top officials after a massive security failure at the Capitol on Wednesday when rioters were able to breach the perimeter and force their way into the building, eventually making it to both the House and Senate chambers.

Apparently the capital police were not ready to protect the capital.  Just a thought.

Long Term...

It's possible that two jabs of Moderna's (NASDAQ:MRNA) recently authorized coronavirus vaccine will be sufficient for long-term protection against the global health scourge. On Thursday, the company's CEO Stephane Bancel said at a healthcare industry event that this is a likely possibility, due to the durability of the antibodies the vaccine produces.

"The antibody decay generated by the vaccine in humans goes down very slowly," he said in remarks quoted by Reuters. "We believe there will be protection potentially for a couple of years." He didn't offer a more specific time forecast.

In a Few...

Trump's 2020 loss should in theory lead to a power vacuum in the Republican ranks. The last person to win a major party nomination after losing a presidential election was Richard Nixon in 1968. The last president to do it was Grover Cleveland in 1892.
A look at the data reveals that Donald Trump is in a uniquely strong position to maintain his control over the party. Until proven otherwise, Trump should be considered the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination for president.
This past election, Trump won the largest share of self-identified Republican voters in the exit poll era (94%).
The polling since the election shows little to no abatement of that strength among Republicans. Among his own party, Trump's average 89% approval rating in live interview polls and 87 and 90% in Gallup's two post-election polls are the strongest for any president who has lost a bid for a second term in the polling era.
With that support, Biden has to start talk down as much as he can against the president since 4 years is just around the corner.
Donald Trump will be the threat that the Democrats are terrified from for so many reasons.
Economic agenda- Unemployment,
He put America first-  Boom in US manufacturing,
and he didn't start a war where people of the Middle East killed in hundreds of thousands, Countries destroyed and millions of refugees. [See Iraq War- Syria War- Libya War two of which during Biden VP term.] Just a thought.

Disgrace...

“It was a life-and-death betrayal of the American people,” Biden added, speaking at a campaign event in Warren, Michigan. “It’s beyond despicable. It’s a dereliction of duty. It’s a disgrace.”

US President Barack Obama has said failing to prepare for the aftermath of the ousting of Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi was the worst mistake of his presidency.

He said, however, that intervening in Libya had been "the right thing to do".

The US and other countries carried out strikes designed to protect civilians during the 2011 uprising.

Estimates of deaths in the Libyan War vary with figures from 2,500 to 25,000 given between March 2 and October 2, 2011.[1] An exact figure is hard to ascertain, partly due to a media clamp-down

Some conservative estimates have been released. Some of the killing "may amount to crimes against humanity" according to the United Nations Security Council[2] and as of March 2011, is under investigation by the International Criminal Court.

Donate...

President Donald Trump has donated $100,000 of his 2020 salary to the National Park Service to help pay for repairs on national monuments.

It marked the second time in three years that Trump has turned over part of his earnings to the park service. In 2017, the president donated $78,333 to help pay for the restoration of a historic house at the Antietam National Battlefield in Maryland (Greenwire, Oct. 23, 2017).

"I promised YOU I would not take a dime of salary as your President," Trump tweeted Friday night. "I donate the entire $400,000! It is my honor to give $100,000 to @NatlParkService to help repair and restore our GREAT National Monuments. So important to our American History! Thank You!!"

His tweet included a photo of the check, which was dated July 13.

Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, who oversees the 419 national parks, followed up with his own tweet. He praised his boss and noted that news of the president's donation of his quarterly salary came only days after Trump signed the Great American Outdoors Act, a law that will create a national trust fund to begin paying for a $20 billion backlog in maintenance projects on public lands.

With Nancy Pelosi's continue attack on the president, would she just donate one year salary to a good cause and continue with the attacks. Just a thought.
