Black-and-White Thinking in our Social Worlds | Psychology Today

Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale called the Black Lives Matter movement a "radical left-wing hate group" that was among the "perpetrators of this urban domestic terror."
"This organization, in particular, screams racism not to expose bigotry and injustice, but to justify the lawless destruction of our cities and surrounding communities," Gale said in a statement.

"Their objective is to unleash chaos and mayhem without consequence by falsely claiming they, in fact, are the victims."

Gale went on to call systemic police brutality and racism a "narrative" pushed by the media.

Many politicians are asking for his resignation.

Comment: I wouldn't specify an organization as been described by the commissioner unless their policies indicate that to some extent.  Just a thought.

Wonder drug? Exploring the molecular mechanisms of metformin, a ...

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it has recommended five pharmaceutical firms to voluntarily recall their diabetes drug metformin after the agency found high levels of a possible cancer-causing impurity in some versions of the medication.
The agency said the drugs contained the probable carcinogen N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) beyond acceptable limits in their extended-release formulations alone.
NDMA contamination was responsible for the recall of heartburn drug Zantac sold by Sanofi SA and some generic versions of the treatment last year.
However, the agency said patients should continue taking metformin tablets even after recalls occur until they consult with their health care professional who can prescribe a replacement.

Unrest Spreads as George Floyd Grief Morphs Into Looting and Violence

In  total, 786 protesters have been arrested between Thursday and Sunday.
The NYPD arrested people from 10 different states: Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
Before the protests began, organizers of certain anarchist groups set out to raise bail money and appoint people who would be responsible to be raising bail money,” Police source.

“They prepared to commit property damage and directed people who were following them that should be done selectively, only in wealthier areas or at high-end stores run by corporate entities.
