OT...

Image result for NYC crowded subway system

Overtime pay at the agency running New York City's transit is going off the rails. As the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is railroaded by stalled schedules, busted budgets and a fare hike for riders, the agency paid its workers $418 million in overtime last year  including more than $344,000 for a single employee.

database of employee pay shows that, with overtime, 20 workers earned more last year than Andy Byford, who oversees the entire New York City Transit Authority. Thomas Caputo, chief measurement operator for the LIRR, received $344,146.93 in overtime on top of his $117,499 salary, bringing his total compensation to $461,646.

Governor Cuomo wants to pour additional money into the agency by taxing the little people. No mention to focusing on efficiency or clean out the corruption, tax and wasteful spending. Just a thought.

Walk...

Image result for walking

It's tough to find time to exercise when you're balancing other obligations - but if months or years have passed without a consistent routine, and now you have extra pounds to shed, you know you're going to have to make some changes.

Here's the good news: walking as little as 30 minutes a day can help you lose weight, as long as you couple it with a healthy lifestyle eating.  Walking can play a huge role for anyone new to exercise.
That said, 30 minutes equates to roughly 4,000 to 5,000 steps, which is still considered sedentary - and the difference in calories burned when someone is active all day versus when they're sedentary is significant.

In other words, walking a half hour is good, but it won't be effective if you sit behind a desk the rest of the day.

Instead, you should quickly work to build your step count to 10,000 or even 12,500 steps per day - the target set for clients who want to lose weight.

Double...

Image result for Cuomo/ taxing cartoon

Has a congestion pricing agreement been reached between New York and New Jersey? That depends who you ask.
Gov. Phil Murphy calls it a “conceptual understanding” over a tax that would have hit New Jersey drivers twice as they enter Manhattan. Gov. Andrew Cuomo, however, says the deal is not set in stone.
Meanwhile, the head of the Metropolitan Transportation Association says the agency has “no idea” what the governors are talking about.
Murphy claims that Cuomo guaranteed a credit or discount to toll payers at all Hudson River crossings. One of his concerns was that commuters using the George Washington Bridge would be double tolled.

Cuomo's plan is to double tax the regular people. A sad story indeed.

Real...

The Media and politicians spent two years talking about the Muller's investigation. Now after the report is out, the debate of what to do.

In the same time they spent two years talking how bad the situation is and the only answer is to get rid of Trump and replace him with a Democrat.

Nothing in between, Nothing about illegal immigration, nothing about improvement in people's live other than the tax relief Associated with Trump. What about reduce Medication pricing? What about creating affordable healthcare similar to other advanced countries.

Let us not be deceived by the Media, or the politicians that tells you every thing will be free if when I  become the president. You don't have to become the president to improve antitrust laws,  to create an open market for medicines similar to Canada, England, etc. Keep it real.

Declining...

Image result for no trust in CNN

One possible explanation for declining trust in news organizations is blurry lines between news and opinion. If someone doesn’t like a commentator’s stance on particular issues, that could color how they look at everything else that news organization does.

Plus, research by API shows that people are finding it difficult to tell the difference between news, analysis and opinions.

News organizations employ inconsistent terminology and labeling when it comes to news, opinion and analysis. That inconsistency creates confusion for readers.
With just a bit of thoughtfulness and some design tweaks, a news organization can use better labeling of news and opinion to make big strides in readers’ trust and understanding of its work.

The leader of a militia group who's been detaining migrants near the U.S.-Mexico border allegedly told the FBI his militia was training to assassinate former President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Democratic donor George Soros.
Larry Hopkins, head of the United Constitutional Patriots, is charged with possession a firearm as a felon and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Hopkins appeared before a federal judge Monday.

According to prosecutors, he has three felony convictions in Michigan and Oregon, including for impersonating a police officer, and nine guns were seized from his home back in 2017, reports CBS News.

Videos from the group show militia members stopping migrants, sometimes at gunpoint, near the border in New Mexico. The United Constitutional Patriots said they are simply doing their part to enforce U.S. immigration laws. In 60 days, they claim they've captured about 5,600 migrants who illegally entered the country.
