Saxenda...*

A drug that treats type 2 diabetes has gotten FDA approval for another use: weight loss.
Saxenda is  already available in a lower dose as Victoza for type 2 diabetes.

Researchers began to study it as an obesitytreatment after people on Victoza reported weight loss.
Saxenda is injected daily. It's approved for people with a body mass index (BMI) of 30, considered obese, or a BMI of 27 with weight-related conditions such as high blood pressure.
It's meant to be used with exercise and a reduced-calorie diet.

"Clinical trials show that [more than] 60% of patients getting a daily 3-milligram injection lost at least 5% of their weight and 31% lost more than 10%,".
In comparison, 34% of those on placebo lost at least 5% of their body weight, according to the FDA.

Serious side effects can include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, kidney problems, and suicidal thoughts. It can also raise heart rate. So good luck with it.

Contrave...*

Contrave helped patients lose more weight compared to a placebo.

With Diet and Exercise, the drug is approved for adults with a body mass index of 27 or greater, with high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol and  with a BMI of 30 or above without compounding conditions.

In people with diabetes patients lost an average of 2 percent more weight compared to the placebo. 36% of people taking Contrave lost at least 5% of body weight compared to 18% of people taking a placebo.

The extended release of naltrexone and Bupropion are combined in Contrave.

The diet pill can cause seizures, raise blood pressure and heart rates.  The FDA warns risks of increased suicidal thoughts behaviors and reported neuro-psychiatric.

Dirty...

Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Charles Schumer,
ignored George Bernard Shaw’s wisdom: “Never wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.”

Schumer and Pelosi seemed triumphant after their meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office,  but every day that goes by with the government shuttered and shutdown clocks clicking is a distraction from Pelosi and Schumer’s ability to make a new and better impression on swing voters.  

President seems to relish the fight as a welcome distraction from his increasing political precariousness, and as a way of spoiling the Democrats’ fresh start.

Trump is betting that neither Pelosi nor Schumer can afford to appear weak after their midterm victories.

The wall is an anathema to progressives, and Pelosi and Schumer don't  want to sully their fresh start by caving into Trump’s demands.

But the longer the government stays closed, the less chance for Democrats to get off to a strong start as both sides in the dispute appear feckless and blameworthy.

Curvature...*

It was over 20 years ago when Sir Mix-A-Lot released "Baby Got Back," a love letter to bootlicious women everywhere. But men’s obsession with shapely butts has remained strong ever since. In fact, you might say that rears have replaced breasts as our most scrutinized body part.

What men are really drawn to isn’t so much the size of the derriere, but the curve or, more specifically, a spinal curvature that offers the illusion of a shapely butt.

Overwhelmingly, men preferred the uber-bendy images that showed the lower spine curved at a 45-degree angle, from back to buttocks.

But before those of you with pancake-flat cabooses get all cocky (or, shall we say, cheeky?), check this out: The reason has more to do with “prehistoric influences” than standards of beauty.

The right curve made it easier for women to not only carry babies, but to get off their bottoms and hunt down grub to feed the offspring.

Beauty is not entirely arbitrary, or ‘in the eyes of the beholder’  but rather has a coherent adaptive logic.” Which is“chauvinism that dates all the way back to Neanderthal times.

Big butts, small butts, whatever..... Suit yourself.    Just a thought.

A  middle-aged woman (not her fault), wearing a platinum blonde wig, a blue dress, and sandals, threw a shoe, at former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.  The woman walked away from the stage with her hands in the air.

Michelle Earnest appeared to be in “an agitated state” but aware of what she had done,  and was released on her own recognizance.

One thinks Michelle has an Arab background, daring to throw one shoe away like that. Now she is stock with one half of the pair of a shoe at home to use for throwing in the future.  

Why is she getting red of her shoes while it cost an arm and a leg? 

Why can't we be sophisticated like the Brits. They use a $10 pie to shove it in one's face.  Or    Russians women who gave everything, the shirts, undershirts and other items, off their backs, to the church and demonstrated Nude.
That is class, no throwing shoes and no yelling.

In Vegas, Hillary got the George Bush treatment. Bush dodged two shoes [One pair size 12] thrown at him while Hilary dodged only one.   Great difference here.       Just a thought.

If you ask what she wants, she will reply by attempting to describe what she wants in a man. And she usually has trouble describing that. 

Some relationships are more fulfilling and successful than others. For the successful relationships, the woman is getting all the things that she needs. In the  not fulfilling, one or more of the woman’s needs are not being met.

First, she needs to feel appreciated for the unique individual that she is. And she needs to know that her man supports her in her endeavors.

Second, she needs to feel that deep intimate emotional connection. She needs to have that emotional intimacy with her man. 

Third, she needs to feel beautiful, sexy, and feminine. She needs to enjoy all those things that comes with being a woman.

And finally, she needs hot passionate romance,  to be seduced, enticed, teased, and satisfied, over and over again. She needs to experience new things, in new ways, including fantasies and roles.

A woman is most fulfilled when she is with a man that she has everything with, and she is wildly crazy about.

But that rarely happens. Usually, one or more things are missing.  Well, Game's over...

Bar...

Supermodel Bar Refaeli will be charged with tax evasion and money laundering in Israel, according to a report.

Israeli prosecutors have been investigating Bar "for years" and believe that she tried to hide more than $6 million from tax authorities.

Bar, officials allege, lived in Israel but claimed her primary residence was in the United States to avoid paying the taxes.

It's likely that Bar's parents, will face similar charges.

In 2015, officials said Bar failed to report tens of millions of dollars she earned while working aboard, and she also allegedly failed to report non-cash payments, including multiple times when she was given cars for modeling gigs.

Bar is one of the best known supermodels in the world and even graced the cover of the "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition" in 2009.
