For more than 200 years, Remington has been one of America's best known gunmakers, a wild west throwback whose durable products have been favored by sportsmen as well as the military.
The North Carolina-based company announced it intends to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection due to massive debt.
The election of President Donald Trump, has dramatically reduced the demand of guns and have hurt the bottom line of manufacturers like the Remington Outdoor Company.
Gun sales spiked during the 2016 presidential campaign because buyers feared Hillary Clinton would win and continue to strengthen gun regulations put in place by the Obama administration.

The former model insisted in court that she had been joking

Tara Lambert, 34, of Ohio, was dressed to kill in court, donning five-inch stilettos, tight-fitting dresses and an eye-popping diamond ring as she faced felony charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.
A black and white checkered dress Lambert donned during the trial sold out everywhere after she was pictured wearing it in court.
Lambert believes her choice of courtroom attire may have negatively impacted the people who mattered most: the jury.

During her trial the jury heard that Lambert had 24 cosmetic surgeries during her career. She believed she was portrayed unfairly by the media as “a brainless, heartless, ex-model,”

She hired a hitman to kill her husband's ex wife. She was sentenced to 7 years in jail.

After one buttoned-up year, Playboy is bringing nude photographs back to its magazine. Playboy published its first non-nude issue in March 2016.

The new issue will include pictorials with March Playmate Elizabeth Elam, who graces the cover. Also in the magazine: a Playboy Interview with Scarlett Johansson, a profile of CNN political commentator Van Jones and an article on hip-hop duo Run the Jewels

Before becoming the magazine's chief creative officer last year, Hefner told L.A. Weekly in July 2016 that ending nude photography "was a bad idea, the whole thing."

Also returning: the Party Jokes section and The Playboy Philosophy, a political and cultural column written by Hefner, nearly 40 years after his father last wrote it for the magazine.

So welcome back... Just a thought.

Image result for cyclobenzaprine cartoon

Doctors have long prescribed a muscle relaxant [cyclobenzaprine] to treat back strains, using five- or 10-milligram pills.

However, doctors who dispense the drugs directly to patients have recently embraced a new pill that contains 7.5 milligrams of the muscle relaxant. There is no evidence the pill works any better except for doctors and the middlemen. They can charge about ten times as much.

States have moved to crack down on so-called physician dispensing of prescription drugs. But doctors and companies have responded by exploiting loopholes in those rules.

Anew dosages of two older painkillers, tramadol and hydrocodone have also appeared. The  study is financed by insurers and state governments.

By producing a novel dosage, a manufacturer could also create a new “average wholesale price” for that dose that bore little relation to existing forms of the drug and could be many times higher.  Need some actions against the greed.
