Less...*

It's something everyone suspected, but now it's official: The under-30 crowd is addicted to their cell phones. A new survey showed that millennials spend more time engaged on social media platforms, it's causing them to be less social in real life.  The study found that 87 percent of millennials admitted to missing out on a conversation because they were distracted by their phone.

The study found 76 percent of females check social media platforms at least 10 times when out with friends, compared with 54 percent of males.

The most commonly used apps mentioned in social settings among millennials were Snapchat, Tinder, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram.

People miss out on parties because they want to see what's going on, on social networks, take beautiful selfies and add filters to their pictures.

It especially becomes a problem when there is alcohol involved and regrets the next morning. The survey found that 71 percent of users regret posting a picture on a social network after more than three drinks.

So either you enjoy the current social time or look for a better time to come, if ever. Just a thought.

Image result for the sun rise

One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever.
The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose.

The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit.

All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea is not full; To the place from which the rivers come, There they return again.    All things are full of labor; Man cannot express it.

The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor the ear filled with hearing.
    Just a thought.

Bungalow...*

You don't need to be flush to be happy. Author Dina Gachman knows that from personal experience. She has faced student loans, made ends meet on unpaid internships, and, along the way, figured out how to live the dream on a dime.

"It's not about feeling mopey because you can't afford a private jet with solid gold fuselage," her book "Brokenomics."

"We'd all love free-flowing Dom Pérignon … but it's not about that. It's about surviving and thriving, no matter what your situation may be."

There are definitely perks when it comes to renting, and if you're in a funk about your 300 square-foot living quarters, it's time to stop pining for a Spanish colonial mansion and start loving your little casita,".

One of Gachman's favorite psychological tricks is to think of her tiny, oven-less apartment as a "beach bungalow." "If you live near the mountains, call it your 'cabin,'" . "If you're in the plains, call it your 'homestead.'

And remember, "you don't have to pay property taxes, deal with maintenance issues, or stress about whether the value of your house is rising or sinking … someday, when you're writing a check for your property taxes, you might just think back on your thimble-sized cabin/homestead and miss the good old days."

Free Riders...*

Image result for oil prices cartoon

After months of relative price stability the floodgates of selling opened wide. Crude oil production in the United States rebounding to nearly 9.1 million barrels per day.

The Saudi oil minister explicitly said that the accord adherents would not abide "free-riders," referenced the shale producers.

In response, Saudi Arabia announced that it would, once again, supply full contract volumes of crude oil to its Asian customers, and it has aggressively discounted its pricing.

U.S. oil inventory levels will only grow further as prices stabilize and the companies adjusted the cost of production.

Prices for WTI will likely fall steadily. While it is painful to undertake a price war, you can bet the lowest cost producers will be the last ones standing but damaged greatly. A new reality is happening.  Just a thought.

Appeal...*

Image result for porsche auto show show

Major U.S. and foreign automakers have appealed to President Donald Trump to review the rules requiring them to nearly double fleet-wide fuel efficiency by 2025, saying they impose significant costs and are out of step with consumer preferences.

As part of a 2012 regulation, EPA had to decide by April 2018 whether to modify the 2022-2025 model year vehicle emission rules requiring average fleet-wide efficiency of more than 50 miles per gallon.

Automakers hope to work with regulators and California, auto representative, "to see whether we can find a prudent compromise path forward that avoids an unnecessary and counterproductive regulatory collision."

Trump will reduce the EPA regulation, but the auto industry with its electric and hybrids cars will exceed the removed requirement by a great distance. Just a thought.

Sarah, who works at a legal brothel in Nevada, felt it was important to be open and honest about her profession. Pictured posing on Twitter

The state of Nevada is the only jurisdiction in US where prostitution is permitted. Strictly regulated brothels operate legally in isolated rural areas, away from the majority of Nevada's population
License fees range from an annual $100,000 in Storey County to an annual $200,000 in Lander County. Licensed prostitutes must be at least 21 years old, except in Storey County and Lyon County (where the minimum age is 18).
Nevada law requires that registered brothel prostitutes be tested weekly for gonorrhea and Chlamydia trachomatis, and monthly for HIV and syphilis;[23] furthermore, condoms are mandatory for all oral sex and sexual intercourse. Brothel owners may be held liable if customers become infected with HIV after a prostitute has tested positive for the virus.[24] Women work a legally mandated minimum of nine days for each work period.[25]

Despite there being a legal option, the vast majority of prostitution in Nevada takes place illegally in Reno and Las Vegas. About 66 times more money is spent by customers on illegal prostitution in Nevada than in the regulated brothels.

Coming soon right after Marijuana.

More than 16 months ago, Stormy Daniels signed a confidentiality agreement that prohibited her from discussing her alleged affair with Donald Trump. Or his business. Or his children. Or his “alleged children.”   Under the agreement, Daniels couldn’t even keep a copy of the agreement. The penalty for defying these constraints? One million dollars each time.  That was then.
Stormy's lawyer sent a letter asked that no action be taken to prevent the airing of an interview done for CBS 60 Minutes news program, and that she be free to talk and to “publish any materials, such as text messages, photos and/or videos relating to the president that she may have in her possession.”
CNN is really try to have some news. But that ain't.

Tillerson thanked the American people, his State Department staff and the nation's extensive network of diplomats in his farewell statement.
Tillerson mentioned that the President called him "a little after noontime from Air Force One" to talk about his ouster.
Opinion:
This guy was a great Secretary of State. He didn't start a war in the Middle East. He didn't sent weapon to some fractions to overthrow regime somewhere.
He worked tirelessly to achieve an agreement with North Korea. He was for Peace and he achieved it.
