Impressed..

Bill Gates told The Wall Street Journal he was “impressed” after a recent three-hour meeting with President-elect Donald Trump in a short clip the paper released Friday.
Multibillionaire and ex-Microsoft CEO Bill Gates joined President-elect Donald Trump for dinner, where they engaged in a wide-ranging discussion of topics including public health, finding a cure for HIV, and how to combat polio in developing countries.
The Journal released a preview of its sit-down with Gates and teased the rest of the interview would be released next week after Trump’s inauguration.
Just a thought.

We have..

Punitive..

A Panama City, Florida, jury ruled that CNN had defamed security contractor Zachary Young when it aired a 2021 report that said he was part of a “black market” that price-gouged those attempting to flee Afghanistan after the U.S. military withdrew from the country.

CNN’s lawyers—and many of its employees—argued it viewed the term as “unregulated” markets, not criminal ones, according to The Washington Post.

The six-person jury awarded $5 million to Young, who claimed the Nov. 2021 CNN report ruined his professional reputation.

The jury also awarded Young punitive damages. CNN subsequently reached a settlement with Young, the trial’s judge confirmed Friday afternoon, averting further legal proceedings to determine the extent of these damages.

New Era..

After all the attempts by the Democratic party elite to prevent this man from becoming the President of the United States he comes back by the American People.

Two time impeachments, multiple prosecutions, and continue name calling of Hitler era likes names.

That supported by Media, not sure why except to show some power over the people's choice.
Here it is. The Man is back.   Just a thought.

Skip..

Former Mayor Bill de Blasio’s attempt to skip out on paying nearly $500,000 in restitution and fines for sticking taxpayers with the bill for his NYPD detail during his failed 2020 presidential run was struck down Tuesday by a state Supreme Court judge.

Judge Shah abud deen Abid Ally tossed out de Blasio’s suit, calling his claims that mayors are exempt from the city’s charter laws and that he was not responsible for security decisions “meritless.”

The city’s Conflicts of Interest Board ruled in June 2023 that de Blasio would have to pay back $319,794.20 – and a $155,000 fine – for travel, meal and lodging expenses for his police detail, who traveled with him and his family as soon as he announced his bid for the White House in May 2019.

Unfortunate..

People get divorced at a high rate due to a variety of reasons, including lack of commitment, unrealistic expectations about marriage, poor communication, infidelity, financial stress, growing apart over time, significant differences in values or lifestyles, unresolved conflict, and sometimes even marrying too young without sufficient preparation for the complexities of a long-term relationshipessentially, when couples struggle to effectively navigate challenges and maintain a healthy level of intimacy and compatibility, divorce can become a result.

Almost 50 percent of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce or separation.

According to most statistics, around 67% of second marriages end in divorce, while approximately 73% of third marriages fail, meaning the failure rate significantly increases with each subsequent marriage.

The average length of a second marriage ending in divorce is typically around 7-8 years.

That doesn't exactly make you want to run to the altar.

Brain Health..

Studies increasingly show a link between diet and both physical and mental health.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO)Trusted Source, following a healthy diet throughout life can not only protect against malnutrition, but can also reduce the risk of noncommunicable diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer.

The WHO advises that a healthy diet includes: fruit, vegetables, nuts, Beans and whole grains

The Mediterranean diet which emphasizes intake of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, Beans, and olive oil, while limiting meat, dairy and ultra processed foods, may be particularly beneficial for brain health.

The study, published in Gut Microbes Reports, suggests that not only did the Mediterranean diet change gut microbiota and improve serum lipid levels, it also improved memory and cognition.
