Destress..

High blood pressure is fairly common, impacting nearly 50% of adults in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), though that doesn’t mean it should be taken lightly.

High blood pressure is often without symptoms but can wreak havoc on your health. Continued high blood pressure puts stress on the arteries, leading to heart damage and an increased risk of heart attack and stroke, per the CDC. Focusing on a heart-healthy eating pattern.

This healthy eating pattern emphasizes a high intake of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and healthy fats like nuts, unsaturated oils and fish while limiting fatty meats, processed foods and sugar-sweetened foods.  It’s a good idea to watch your intake of Sodium, increase your daily exercise, and de-stressing may all help as well.

Incursion..

Russia launched a deadly large-scale attack across Ukraine on Monday, sending drones and cruise and ballistic missiles toward at least 15 regions, Ukrainian officials said. That was in response to the incursion earlier by the Ukraine.

The strikes were among the largest such aerial attacks since the war began in 2022, with Russia using at least 127 missiles and 109 drones in an attack that lasted over eight hours, according to Ukrainian President. That was possibly in response to the incursion that happened earlier

Comment.

The Ukrainian President is following his own desire to fight the Russians with encouragement from Biden's Administration. Two years later he couldn't get the West to fight against the East. Now for many Countries,  he is on their back burner, particularly that the conflict is impacting the allies much more than anticipated, the same countries that he is looking for their support.  Just a thought.

Thursday's interview with CNN's Dana Bash was the first time Harris faced unscripted questions in several weeks,.

During the interview, Harris said she plans to "strengthen and support the middle class" if elected to the White House in November, adding the Biden administration had been required to "rescue the economy" after what she termed the "mismanagement" of the COVID-19 pandemic by Trump.

Comment..
Harris is saying anything at this time.
For COVID time, 800,000 human lost their lives.
To strengthen the middle class, what's up with the 10% inflation, food shortage worldwide.
When it comes to war, starting but not ending.
South border out of control etc.
With Harris, there are no change. Same old same old.

Crash..

Thursday, John Hussman , the president of the Hussman Investment Trust who called the 2000 and 2008 stock market crashes, added two more indicators to the mix that show "economic conditions hovering at the threshold of recession."
Hussman points out several red flags indicating potential market instability: inflated valuations, noticeable divergences across different stock sectors, and a disproportionate bullish sentiment. A particular concern he highlights is the increasing number of stocks hitting new 52-week lows despite overall market indices reaching new heights.
A composite index measuring manufacturing output against business demand. When orders for goods outpace manufacturing output, it's a sign of a healthy economy.
At the moment, the ratio is floating right around zero. The only times it has dipped into negative territory have been during the last eight recessions.

Key..

Knowing how key cognitive functions could change in people diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease can make a significant difference to patients and those caring for them.

Data was logged for numerous demographic, health, and functional factors including experience of pain, depression, and neuropsychiatric symptoms.

Measures of cognitive decline were significant for all of the participants, though there was sufficient variation to uncover some relationships.

Being older,         being female,       having difficulty with daily activities,             and having a history of atrial fibrillation (issues with irregular heart rhythms) were identified by the researchers as predicting the biggest declines in cognitive ability.

While there's currently no treatment that can prevent or cure dementia, researchers have identified some factors that may help protect you from cognitive decline.

New ..

US-made armored vehicles in service with the Ukrainian military are up against an unfamiliar threat on the battlefield, one that they haven't faced in previous wars.
Russia and Ukraine employ small drones strapped with explosives as a way to deliver cheap and effective precision strikes on enemy armor, often damaging or destroying them.
The US Army is closely watching how US armored systems delivered to Ukraine — specifically the M1 Abrams tank and M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle — are performing in combat and holding up in this new type of warfare.
It's also taking lessons from the conflict and applying them in training, teaching new soldiers how to grasp the threat of small drones. Col. James Modlin, the deputy commandant of the US Army Armor School, said that it was "important" for them to be able to understand the prevalence of small unmanned systems on future battlefields and that the fight was changing.
